E.B. 'Pete' Willoughby, 74, of Memphis, retired from Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. after 51 years, died Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at White Station Church of Christ, where he was an elder for 20 years, with burial in Forest Hill cemetery East. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge. Mr. Willoughby, the husband of Lena Willoughby for 54 years, also leaves three sons, Gary Willoughby of Southaven, and David Willoughby and Kenny Willoughby, both of Memphis, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Harding Graduate School of Religion or Agape Child & Family Services.

Adamsville -- Maybell Williams, 76, homemaker, died Sunday at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church, where she was a member, with burial in Shiloh Methodist Church cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah has charge. Mrs. Williams, the widow of Loyd Williams, leaves four daughters, Betty Hunt of Savannah, and Jo Ann Pickens, Brenda Crumby and Sandra Lucas, all of Adamsville; two sons, Loyd Stanley Williams of Savannah and Harold Williams of Adamsville; a stepdaughter,Sara Nunn of Ramer; a stepson, Bill Williams of Savannah; a sister, Lula Bell Wooley, and two brothers, J.C. Hastings and Doug Hastings, all of Corinth, 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Covington -- Willie Frances Richardson, 81, of Springville, formerly of Covington, homemaker, died Sunday at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Charleston cemetery. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Richardson, the widow of Jim Richardson, leaves a son, Jim Richardson of Roswell, N.M.; two sisters, Florence Whitehead of Memphis and Dorothy Sims of Bartlett, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Dyersburg -- Bobby Gene Hinson, 57, of Friendship, formerly of Dyersburg, farmer, died Saturday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Dyer County Memorial Gardens. J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home has charge. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Hinson, the husband of Gisela Hinson, also leaves two daughters, Jennifer Hubble of Friendship and Tammy Kennedy of Alamo; two sisters, Shirley Mitchell of Dyersburg and Penny Young of Parsons, and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.

Halls -- Lurlean L. Crews, 83, retired factory worker for Universal Electric, died Sunday at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Dry Hill cemetery. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. Mrs. Crews, the widow of C.A. Crews, leaves two daughters, Betty Sutton of Ripley and Linda Moore of Halls; a son, Floyd Gilliland, and a brother, Charles Edward Mayfield, both of Ripley, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Mills, the widower of Maudie Velma Mills, leaves two daughters, Glendene Mills of Halls and Betty L. Kirkpatrick of Ripley; two sisters, Mary Younger and Flossie Holcomb, both of Ripley, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Savannah -- William Grimes, 76, retired food service manager and Wabash Railroad worker, died Sunday at Hardin County General Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Home with burial in Pebble Hill cemetery in McNairy County. He was a Navy and Army veteran, attended Spirit of Humanism Church in Olive Hill, and member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Corinth, Miss., and Moose Lodge in Jackson. Mr. Grimes, the husband of Mildred Marie Baldwin Grimes, also leaves a stepdaughter, Brenda Burks Teasdale, and a stepson, Travis W. Burks, both of Michie; a sister, Jane Storrer of Montpelier, Ohio, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
