Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at South Parkway Church of God in Christ, where she was a member, with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. Mrs. Hall, the wife of Frank Hall, also leaves seven daughters, Natarsha Smith, Monesha Green, Lametrius Hall, Margaret Carter, Vanessa Sweet, Sherrill Franklin and Teresa Jones, all of Memphis; two sons, Jarvis Hall of Memphis and Val Burks of Menard, Ill.; her parents, Roosevelt and Mary McKinnie; three sisters, Barbara Neal, Charlesetta Williams and Sonya McKinnie, all of Memphis; five brothers, Aldric McKinnie of Atlanta, and Calvert McKinnie, Marvin McKinnie, Carl McKinnie and Harold McKinnie, all of Memphis, and 12 grandchildren.

Maxine H. Harrison, 93, of Memphis, retired nurse, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Memory Hill Gardens. Family Funeral Care has charge. Mrs. Harrison, the widow of Robert Harrison, leaves a sister, Mildred Brim of Memphis.

Ralph C. Hooper, 80, of Memphis, retired Memphis police officer, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Hooper, the husband of Edith Hooper, also leaves a daughter, Cheryl Hooper of Bartlett; a son, Skip Hooper of Memphis, and four grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Arminda Meals, 57, of Memphis, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Family Funeral Care. She was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church. She leaves a daughter, Angela L. Waldon of Memphis; three sisters, Ella Morris of Hickory Withe, Tenn., Donna Kennedy of Burlison, Tenn., and Mary Jane Littrell of Nesbit, and three grandchildren. Dr. Ben Nanney, 60, of Collierville, dentist, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church and American Dental Association. Dr. Nanney, the husband of Barbara Nanney, also leaves three sons, Parker Nanney of Collierville, and Steven Mosby and Garrett Nanney, both of Memphis; his mother, Della Nanney of Paris, Tenn.; two sisters, Patricia Matheny of Paris and Karon Shimkus of Grenada, Miss., and a brother, Wayne Nanney of Paris. Dr. William J. Oswald, 77, of Memphis, family practice physician, died Friday at Saint Francis Hospital. Dr. Oswald, the widower of Barbara Oswald, leaves six daughters, Kay McConnell of Nashville, Becky McKissack of Collierville, Lisa Dennis of Brownsville, Tenn., Teresa Flynn of Oakland, Tenn., Taffy Teeter of Germantown and Michelle Freeman of Memphis; two sons, Karl Oswald of Memphis and Mark Oswald of Victor, W.Va.; a sister, Louise 'Dolly' Oswald of Memphis, and 26 grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lelia Reid Smith, 100, of Memphis, retired from General Motors after 35 years, died Friday at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and graduate of Jackson High School. Mrs. Smith, the widow of Noah H. Smith, leaves a niece, Dorothy Stephenson, and a nephew, David Reid King, both of whom helped take care of her, and two caregivers, Al and Georgia Wilson. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Denmark Presbyterian Church.

He was a member of Society of American Florists for over 40 years, American Institute of Floral Design and Academy of Floriculture, founder of Southern chapter of American Institute of Floral Design, former president of Tennessee State Florists' Association and Memphis Professional Florists' Association, former chairman of floral decorations for Marguerite Piazza-St. Jude Gala for 20 years, recipient of Memphis Designer of the Year, Memphis Florist of the Year, Southeastern Florist Association Headdress Competition winner and Tennessee State Florist of the Year, inducted into Tennessee State Florists' Association Hall of Fame, and member of 50th Presidential Inaugural Design Team for Ronald Reagan. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Richard S. 'Sandy' White Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
