LaVerne Reeves Bostick, 88, of Memphis, homemaker, died Saturday at Wesley Highland Manor. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church for 50 years. Mrs. Bostick, the widow of Olen E. Bostick, leaves a daughter, Claudia Hellman of Albemarle, N.C.; a son, Olen E. Bostick Jr. of Germantown, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Luke's Methodist Church.

Mae Brazier, 76, of Memphis, retired from Zayre's, died Saturday at Spring Gate Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Family Funeral Care with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Mrs. Brazier, the widow of Albert Brazier, leaves a daughter, Sarah Ruth Brazier of Moscow, Tenn.; two sons, Charles Albert Brazier of Memphis and Jerry Lee Brazier of Moscow; and a grandson. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Salvation Army.

Thomas Gary Elliott, 54, of Collierville, owner of Elliott Tile & Marble, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, Ky., with burial in the church cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky., has charge. Mr. Elliott, the husband of Laura Hadley Elliott, also leaves two stepdaughters, Julie Wilmoth of Oakland, Tenn., and Lindsey Elliott of Cordova; his mother, Mary Ruth Cash Elliott of Memphis; three sisters, Karen All Edwards of Olive Branch, and Janice Kay Elliott and Tamra Jo Lewis, both of Memphis; a brother, James Lynn Elliott of Hernando, and two grandchildren.

William J. Fritsch, 81, of Cordova, retired manager of manufacturing for International Telephone and Telegraph after 43 years, died April 29 at Select Specialty Hospital. Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Good Friends Club, former member of Lions Club and communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Mr. Fritsch, the husband of Helen Fritsch for 56 years, also leaves a daughter, Barbara Fritsch of Cordova. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jessie Humphrey, 55, of Memphis, construction worker, died Tuesday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Humphrey, the husband of Francis Humphrey, also leaves two sons, Jessie Humphrey Jr. and Jejuan Humphrey; his stepfather, George Liddell; three sisters, Georgia M. Peggs, Danease V. Liddell and Rose M. Calhoun, and three brothers, Norris Humphrey, Carl Liddell and Curtis Liddell, all of Memphis, and a grandchild.

William Arlo Huston, 76, of Bartlett, truck salesman for Tri-State Mack for 55 years, died Sunday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a Korean War veteran, commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars post 1965, and member of Lakeland Lions Club and Arlington Methodist Church. Mr. Huston, the husband of Mary Catherine Coleman Huston, also leaves two daughters, Gale Kellum and Lisa Hays, and a son, Dale Huston, all of Bartlett, and seven grandchildren.

William F. Lumpkins, 80, of Eads, retired driver for Greyhound Bus Lines and Roadway Express, died Sunday at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson, Tenn., with burial in Unity cemetery in Chester County, Tenn. He was a member of Fisherville First Baptist Church. Mr. Lumpkins was the husband of Mary Nell Wallace Lumpkins for 54 years. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Fisherville First Baptist Church or Gideons International.

Donovan, and a son, George James, both of Memphis; two sisters, Pauline Cooper of Memphis and Dorothy James of Collierville, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
