John Morgan Jr., 78, of Memphis, farmer, died Saturday in Memphis. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Samuel Chapel cemetery in Ashland, Miss. V.H. Bins & Son Mid-South Funeral Home has charge. He leaves a caregiver, Ernestine Rogers.

Andrew Wade Pate, 27, of Collierville, employee of Alpha Chemical Co., died Monday at his home. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Collierville Funeral Home. He leaves his parents, Renee and Brian Pate; a sister, Jennifer Ann Pate, and a brother, Michael David Pate, all of Collierville.

Floyd James Perry, 48, of Memphis, died Monday in Memphis. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Atoka, Tenn., with burial in Bethel cemetery in Atoka. William Phillips, 55, of Verona, Miss., formerly of Memphis, agency manager for Tate County Farm Bureau, died Tuesday at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Services will be at noon today at St. Luke Methodist Church, where he was a member. Lee Memorial Funeral home in Verona has charge. Mr. Phillips, the husband of Pam Phillips, also leaves three daughters, Shannon Gillespie of Verona, Stephanie Tutor of Memphis and Lindsey Phillips of Starkville, Miss.; a son, Joseph Phillips of Oxford, Miss.; a sister, Gayle Cushman, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Itawamba Community College William Varner Phillips Scholarship Fund.

Charles Edwards Ray, 64, of Memphis, retired laborer, died Friday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Christian Fellowship Church with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. Mr. Ray, the husband of Rose Ray, also leaves his mother, Beatrice Ray of Memphis; five sisters, Bertha L. Summerise of San Bernardino, Calif., and Freddie R. Payton, Vivian R. Donelson, Dawn Ray and Jan Ray, all of Memphis, and two brothers, Lee E. Ray of Los Angeles and Carl Ray of Memphis.

Mr. Sterling, the husband of Jessie Moody Sterling, also leaves two daughters, Betty Jo Brown and Brenda J. Sterling, and a son, Emmanuel Sterling Jr., all of Jackson, Miss.; two stepsons, Michael Moody of Memphis and Andre Moody of Atlanta; two sisters, Willie V. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Funeral Home. He was a graduate of the University of Memphis and a Memphis 200 docent. Mr. Tucker, the widower of Sara S. Tucker, leaves a daughter, Barbara Tucker Harmon of Germantown; three sons, John D. Tucker III of Germantown, Hugh Nathan Tucker of Evansville, Ind., and Donald Lee Tucker of Memphis, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
