Virgil Ray 'Butch' Kuykendall, 62, of Millington, welder and carpenter, died Sunday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in West Union cemetery in Millington. Mr. Kuykendall, the husband of Yvonne Kuykendall, also leaves three daughters, Trena Gardner, Laurie Beckman and Lisa Headley, all of Atoka; a sister, Sandra Baird of Collierville; a brother, Ricky Kuykendall of Millington, and six grandchildren.

Jorge Enrique Miranda, 16, of Memphis, student at Kingsbury High School, died Friday in Sardis, Miss. Services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, where he was a communicant, with burial in Nicaragua. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He leaves his mother, Maria Isabel Maynard, and his father, Ney Maynard-Morales, both of Memphis, and three brothers.

Sylvia V. Norris, 60, of Memphis, EKG technician for Delta Medical Center, died Saturday at Methodist North Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Galilee Memorial Gardens. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a graduate of Douglass High School. She leaves three daughters, Cynthia Norris, Belinda Norris and Latonia Norris, all of Memphis; three sons, Aaron Norris and Alex Norris, both of Memphis, and Jessie Hopson III of Clarksville, Tenn.; three sisters, Gloria Franklin and Sterlene Chavers, both of Memphis, and Lois Watkins of Huntsville, Ala.; four brothers, Walter Norris, Cliff Norris and George Norris, all of Memphis, and Roy Norris of Henderson, Nev., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bobbie W. Porter, 70, of Memphis, educator for Memphis City Schools, died Friday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James AME Church on North Fourth, where she was a member of the steward board and Laura Lemon Society-The Lay Organization, with burial in National cemetery. R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a graduate of Manassas High School, LeMoyne-Owen College and Memphis State University and a member of Sigma Thea Sorority, Memphis Education Association and National Education Association. Mrs. Porter, the widow of Robert L. Porter, leaves two daughters, Susan Curry Brown of Memphis and Robin Porter of Houston; a sister, Arane W. Taylor, and two brothers, James N. Walker and Eugene A. Walker, all of Memphis, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Price, leaves four daughters, Lynda Box of Blue Mountain, Miss., Betty Jo Smith of Bartlett, Anita Nelson of Olive Branch and Donna Burgner of New Albany, Miss., nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Puckett, the husband of Jane Puckett for 53 years, also leaves a daughter, Deborah Teresa Vogle of Memphis; two sons, Allan Cornelious Puckett of Brighton and Randall Wayne Puckett of Germantown; a sister, Linda Miller of Maud, Ala.; two brothers, Billy Puckett of Cherokee, Ala., and Richard Puckett of Maud, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
