Eddie Lee Harrington, 69, of Memphis, retired from Memphis Metal, died Monday at his home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Midtown Church of Christ on Union with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Harrington, the husband of Ruby J. Harrington, also leaves a son, Larry Richmond of Memphis; two sisters, Dru Lee Davis of Winchester, Ky., and Emilie Smith of Memphis, and two brothers, Julius Harrington of Albuquerque, N.M., and Humphrey Harrington Jr. of Winchester.

Roy C. Harris, 67, of Memphis, retired from Fruehauf Trailers, died Thursday in Memphis. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Forest Hill cemetery Midtown. Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch has charge. He was an Army veteran and a member of Cherokee Baptist Church.

Delphia Ellen Hunt, 95, of Memphis, formerly of Ripley, Tenn., homemaker, died Thursday at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ripley, where she was a member and Sunday school teacher for 64 years, with burial in Edith cemetery there. Garner Funeral Home in Ripley has charge. Mrs. Hunt, the widow of Julian Thomas Hunt, leaves a daughter, Ruth Carol Bailey of Memphis, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Bernice Price Jones, 89, of Cordova, homemaker, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Cordova, where she was a spiritual leader and mother and usher board member, with burial in the church cemetery. N.H. Owens & Son Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Jones, the widow of Hezekiah Jones, leaves nine daughters, Verlene Cunningham, Annie L. Thomas, Earnestine Taylor and Juanita Jones, all of Cordova, Christine Everett of Nashville, Ruby Thomas and Frances A. Sterling, both of Memphis, Carolyn F. Holmes of Las Vegas and Sandra J. Taylor of Millington; two sons, I.G. Jones of Memphis and Charles R. Jones of Cordova; four sisters, Roxie Armstrong of Detroit, Carrie Reddick of Cordova, Loris Pearson of Ohio and Ivy M. Ray of Los Angeles; three brothers, Farris Price of St. Louis, and Major Price and Acme W. Price Jr., both of University City, Mo., 59 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lawson, the widow of Martin Lawson, leaves a son, Bobby Roberts of Alabama; two sisters, Ruth Slaughter of Red Bay, Ala., and Hazel Odom of Mobile, Ala., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frankie R. Luna, 84, of Metairie, La., formerly of Memphis, died Monday at Canon Hospice in Metairie. Graveside services were Friday in Memorial Park. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel had charge. She was a member of Munholland United Methodist Church in Metairie. Mrs. Luna was the widow of Thomas L. Luna.

Mrs. Newman, the widow of John Newman, leaves three daughters, Linda Hollis of Memphis, Patricia Pottinger of Tucson, Ariz., and Pamela Andrews of Sacramento, Calif.; a son, Robert Newman of Memphis, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. He was a World War II Army veteran.
