Mary Ann Allen, 85, of Memphis, former employee of BonTon Restaurant, died Wednesday at Methodist South Hospital. Services will be at noon Wednesday at Koinonia Baptist Church, where she was a member of the mothers' board, with burial in Galilee Memorial Gardens. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a daughter, Rosemary Graham, and a son, John David Allen, both of Memphis, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

LeVester Bartlett, 64, of Memphis, retired from Haines Electric Co., died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Unity Church of God in Christ, where he was a member, with burial in New Park cemetery. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. Mr. Bartlett, the husband of Robbie M. Bartlett, also leaves a daughter, Nikka Smith; a son, LeAnthony Bartlett; two stepdaughters, Sharon Scott and Rosalind Scott, and a stepson, Michael Scott, all of Memphis; a sister, Elnora Bartlett of Riverside, Calif., and six grandchildren.

Ruth E. Brown, 80, of Memphis, retired Memphis City Schools cafeteria worker, died Friday at Methodist North Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in New Park cemetery. N.H. Owens & Son Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a daughter, Charles Etta Patrick; a son, Robert L. Brown, and a sister, Leona Farwell, all of Memphis, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ralph Buring, 85, of Atlanta, formerly of Memphis, retired publicist for Warner Brothers Motion Pictures, died Sunday in Atlanta. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Jacob's Chapel with burial in Beth El Emeth cemetery. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He was a former member of Anshei Sphard Beth El Emeth Congregation, graduate of Memphis State University, and member of Motion Picture Guild, Variety Club, Botanic Garden of Atlanta and Publishers Guild. Mr. Buring, the husband of Margarite Worthington Buring, also leaves two stepdaughters, Gretchen Paprocki of Atlanta and Stephanie Myers of Maitland, Fla. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Portsbridge Hospice in Fayetteville, Ga.

Asie Lee Casey, 79, of Memphis, retired from Methodist Healthcare, died Wednesday at Atrium of Memphis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Casey, the husband of Margaret A. Casey, also leaves four daughters, Joyce Mitchell of Rockville, Md., and Brenda Patterson, Harriet Pettis and Marlene Casey, all of Memphis; three sons, Maurice Casey of Memphis, Harvey Casey of Chicago and Herbert Casey of Silver Spring, Md., 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
