Covington -- Robert M. Turner, 70, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home with burial in Mount Lebanon cemetery. He was a member, former chairman of deacons, deacon and elder at Covington Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, coach for Dixie Youth, Dixie Boys and Seniors Baseball and umpire, director of TECA, director and board chairman of Covington Housing Authority, former president of Tipton County Farmer Union Bank, member of American Angus Association and Tennessee Bankers Association, and former president and director of Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corp. Mr. Turner, the husband of Norma Gray Turner, also leaves two daughters, Carla T. Witherington and Cindy Howard, both of Covington; two sons, Bob Turner of Cordova and Wade Cates of Millington; five brothers, Roy Clay Turner, Gordon Turner, Carl Turner, Ted Turner and Tim Turner, all of Covington, nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Covington Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Drummonds -- Guy 'Matt' Earle, 35, formerly of Darlington, Md., employee of R.L. Inman, died Friday in Drummonds. Bartlett Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Darlington United Methodist Church. Mr. Earle, the husband of Alice S. Earle, also leaves two daughters, Courtney Olmstead and Alicia Olstead, both of Atoka; two sons, Kenneth 'Max' Stephenson Earle of Havre De Grace, Md., and Brandon Olmstead of Memphis; his mother, Cecilia Earle-Godley of Darlington; his father, Dennis Earle of Phoenix, Md.; a brother, Richard P. Earle of Whiteford, Md., and his grandmother, Cecelia Earle of Lady Lake, Fla. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

Dyersburg -- Cherry Ann 'Chib' Ellis Harpenau, 70, of Noblesville, Ind., formerly of Dyersburg, homemaker and former owner/operator of Cherry's Bed & Bath, died Saturday in Noblesville. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carmel, Ind., with burial in Hamilton Memorial Park cemetery in Noblesville. Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center in Carmel has charge. She was former president of Dyersburg Jaycees, communicant of Our lady of Sorrows in Memphis and former member of Carmel Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Harpenau, the wife of Charles J. Harpenau, also leaves two daughters, Anna Sanderson of Omaha, Neb., and Melissa Kropp of New Palestine, Ind.; a son, Charles Harpenau Jr. of Indianapolis; a sister, Billie Doris Lomax; a brother, Stanley R. Ellis, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Sisters of St. Benedict Church restoration in Ferdinand, Ind.

Newbern -- Michael Ray Crouch, 60, retired computer technician and former employee of Dana Corp., died Sunday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home with burial in Center cemetery. He was an Air Force veteran and member of Newbern First Baptist Church. Mr. Crouch, the husband of Alice Leach Crouch, also leaves two sons, Shane Crouch of Friendship and Shawn Crouch of Newbern; a sister, Jeanne Criswell of Finley; two brothers, Holland Crouch and Jimmy Crouch, both of Dyersburg, and three grandchildren.

Ripley -- Inez Ingram Douglas, 77, homemaker, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, with burial in Melrose cemetery in Whiteville. Garner Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution Fort Prudhomme chapter and charter member of Dellwood Baptist Church in Memphis. Mrs. Douglas, the wife of Larry Douglas, also leaves a daughter, Carol Ammons, and two sons, Wayne Douglas and Gary Douglas, all of Ripley, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Somerville -- Louise Mitchell Montague, 76, retired postal worker after 23 years, died Friday at Ave Maria Home in Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen cemetery in Williston. She was a graduate of Moro (Ark.) High School, attended Arkansas State College in Jonesboro, charter member of Mount Calvary Church of the Nazarene and volunteer for Gideon's International. Mrs. Montague, the widow of Albert Roy Montgaue, leaves a daughter, Barbara Montague Traylor of Franklin; two sons, Gary R. Montague and David L. Montague, both of Cordova; five sisters, Millie Hill of Southaven, Sherry Sowell of Shiloh, Glenda McMahan of Dallas, and Billie Hendrix and Beulah Griffin, both of Moro, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Gideon's International.

Mario Jerome Davis, 35, of Memphis, died Saturday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Polly Denley, 87, of Memphis, saleslady for Shoe Mart, died Monday at Wesley Highland Manor. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Tupelo (Miss.) Memorial Park cemetery. She leaves a son, James Hollingsworth of Dallas, and a niece, Virginia Lovvorn, and a nephew, Russell Lovvorn, both of Memphis, and both of whom helped care for her.
