Gates -- Aaron Reece, 57, trucker, died Wednesday at Oakwood Manor in Dyersburg. Services will be at 5 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Gates cemetery. He leaves a daughter, Tina Elmore, and a son, Steven Reece, both of Alamo; his mother, Frances White of Ripley; four sisters, Nancy Rose and Opal Robertson, both of Gates, Vernice Scott of Brighton and Dolly Cole of Perryton, Texas; a brother, Larry Reece of Dyersburg, and five grandchildren.

Gates -- Rex Leamon White Jr., 53, industrial maintenance worker, died Friday at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Ripley First Apostolic Church, where he was a member, with burial in Family cemetery near Gates. Halls Funeral Home has charge. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Mr. White, the husband of Leamon Yvonne Spears White, also leaves three daughters, Teresa Taliferro of Gates, Cheric White of Ripley and Kim White of Brighton; three sons, Grady Brooks of Jacksonville, Ala., Rex White III of Atlanta and Howard Lynn Keith White of Gates; his mother, Frances White, and a sister, Rebecca Buckner, both of Ripley; two brothers, Howard White of Ripley and Ronald White of Fort Collins, Colo., and 10 grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Ripley First Apostolic Church.

Ripley -- Dora Evelyn Elder, 74, factory worker, died Thursday at Lauderdale Community Assisted Living. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Marys Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Garner Funeral Home has charge. She leaves three daughters, Carolyn Mitchell, Anita Trosper and Tammy Little; a son, Mickey Elder, and a sister, Maxine Forsythe, all of Ripley, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Savannah -- Loey Arnold Fulton, 85, retired teacher and human services case worker, died Friday at Hardin County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Savannah cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ and a former member of Business & Professional Women. Mrs. Fulton, the widow of Gordon Chambliss Fulton, leaves two daughters, Betty Fulton Yost of Huntsville, Ala., and Jane Fulton Hunt of Savannah; a son, David Samuel Fulton of Austin, Texas; a brother, James Arnold of Savannah, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Silerton -- William Hubert Ayers, 75, iron worker, died Friday at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial in Wesley cemetery in Silerton. He was a Tennessee National Guard veteran, a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner for 50 years and a graduate of University of Tennessee at Martin. Mr. Ayers, the widower of Elmie Ayers, leaves two daughters, Amy Stutts and Cindy Ayers, both of Jackson; three sons, David Ayers of Silerton, Randy Ayers of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Gary Ayers of Crane, Ind.; two sisters, Pat Ayers Zenor of Auburn, Ala., and Irene Rolison of Bemis; a brother, Joel Ayers of Lenoir City, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Stanton -- Johnny Bert Worles, 58, farmer, died May 28 at NHC Healthcare in Somerville. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Russell Grove Church in Somerville with burial in Mount Olive cemetery there. Mabone Funeral Home in Somerville has charge. Mr. Worles, the husband of Willie B. Worles, also leaves three daughters, Justina Boyland and Willette Worles, both of Somerville, and Angelique Harwell of Stanton; two sons, Johnny Worles Jr. of Brownsville and Timmy Worles of Somerville; his parents, Joe Lee and Jinnie Lou Worles of Somerville; five brothers, Joe Lee Worles Jr., Marshall Worles, Tyrone Worles and Thomas Worles, all of Somerville, and Roy Frank Worles of Brownsville, and seven grandchildren.

Nicholas G. Bravos, 82, of Cordova, consultant for food, restaurant and lodging industry, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a World War II veteran, former president of Alexandria (La.) Restaurant Association, former director of Louisiana Restaurant Association, and member of American Legion post 2000, IFMA Gold and Silver Plate Award Society, International Foods Service Manufacturers Association, International Association of Food and Beverage Directors, National Restaurant Association, Tennessee and Louisiana Restaurant Associations, International Association of Certified Hotel Administrators and First Evangelical Church. Mr. Bravos, the husband of Voula S. Bravos, also leaves a daughter, Dee Stubblefield, and a son, George Bravos, both of Cordova; a sister, Goldie Protos of Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren.

Dawn Chandler Bulone, 42, of Cordova, director of Advancement Services for the University of Memphis and former senior researcher for ALSAC, died Thursday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. She was a member of Church of the Holy Communion, and founder of the Tennessee chapter and president of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement. Mrs. Bulone, the wife of Daniel Bulone for seven years, also leaves a son, Michael Daniel Bulone, and a sister, Pamela Chandler Taylor, both of Memphis, and two brothers, Robert L. Chandler Jr. of Pocahontas, Ark., and Christopher Mills Chandler of Austin, Texas. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Carl Leonard Fry, 54, of Deville, La., formerly of Memphis, chief of decision support service at Memphis Veterans Medical Center, died Thursday at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. He was an Air Force lieutenant colonel, Vietnam War veteran, Army National Guard veteran, and recipient of Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with Combat Distinguished Device V, and other medals and commendations. He leaves two sons, Nathan Fry and Cory Fry, both of Deville; his mother, Annabelle Fry, and a brother, Nelson Wayne Fry Jr., both of Memphis.
