CHARLES E. BENDALL, 79, of Memphis, died Saturday June 18, 2005. He was retired letter carrier. Visitation will be 5-8 Monday and funeral services at 10 am. Tuesday at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memory Hill cemetery. Mr. Bendall was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason. He is preceded in death by his wife Melba Bendall. He is survived by four sons, Bill Bendall of Bartlett, TN, Mike Bendall of St. Louis, MO, Rick Bendall of Dallas, TX and Ed Bendall of Bartlett, TN; four brothers, Lynn Bendall, Ray Bendall, James Bendall all of Memphis TN and Lee Bendall of Chattanooga, TN. He leaves 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by her Grandmother: Euretha Gattis, her Brother: Frank Daniel Hunlock III, and her Grandparents: Willie and Vernon Russell. Charlie M. "Max" Brewer, 59, of Cordova, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett. He was a retired Memphis Fire Fighter and presently at Sam’s. Visitation will be 5-8 Sunday and funeral services 10 am Monday at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. Mr. Brewer was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Brewer of 19 years, 2 daughters, Lauren Brewer and Stacy Brewer, both of Memphis; 2 sons, Johnny Sears of Memphis and Jason Brewer of Ark; and brother, Warren Brewer of Atoka.

Gurchie "G.L." Bunch, Jr., 76, of Memphis died June 17, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital. He retired from State Farm Insurance in 2001 after serving as an agent for over 46 years. Visitation will be at Memorial Park on Poplar, Monday, June 20 from 5-7 p.m. Services will be at Memorial Park Tuesday at noon. Burial will be at Memorial Park Southwoods. He was a long-time member of First Assembly of God Memphis. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Evers Bunch of Memphis. He was a loving father of Christopher Bunch, deceased, Richard Bunch, Linda Stephens, Donna Stevenson, and Mark Bunch, all of Memphis. He also leaves eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be sent to First Assembly of God Missionary Fund.

Kathryn R. Chapman, 89, of Memphis died Friday June 17, 2005. Services will be graveside monday 10:00AM at Memphis Memory Gardens.She was preceeded in death by her husband, Paul A. Chapman. LAURIE BARTON KEITH, 47 of White Stone, Virginia passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 12, 2005 after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born March 16th, 1958 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Bette Bell and Ted Howard Barton. She is survived by her husband of 22 years., song writer, musician & singer, Steve Keith. Also survived by her parents Bette Barton Berthouex Redditt, Cordova, and Ted Barton, Hernando; 3 sisters: Derri Smith, Debbie Reinach, Linda Thurmond; 2 brothers: Bric Barton and Brad Barton; 13 nieces and nephews and 4 great nephews all of the Memphis, Tennessee area. Also an aunt, Linda Bergeron of Metairie, Louisiana and an uncle James K. (Bo) Bell, Jr. of Pueblo, Colorado.
A successful business woman, musician, singer, artist and designer of jewelry, she was well known throughout the community for her humanitarian deeds. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at 2 pm at Wicomico Parish Episcopal Church in the Chesapeake Bay area. A reception will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Variety Club of Memphis (helping children in need) at P.O. Box 1523, Mph. TN 38101 or www.GildasClub.org (ovarian cancer support group) have been requested by the family.
The family wishes to thank Rappahannock General Hospital of Rappahannock, Virginia and Walter Reed Hospital Hospice of Gloucester, Virginia for their many kindnesses.
Also, the family would like to thank the multitude of friends in her community who embraced, nourished and cared for her in her final days.

W.J. "Mac" McKnight, 78, of Collierville, retired electrical worker (Local 474 ), died Friday, June 17, 05 at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2005 at Collierville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Methodist Church cemetery in McCool, MS at 3:30 p.m. Mr. McKnight was a member of the United Macon Methodist Church, VFW Post 5056 and a World War II Army veteran. The husband of Bonnie M. McKnight also leaves a daughter, Cindy Shackelford of Lake Charles, LA; a son, Johnny McKnight of Eads, TN and a grandson, Aaron Shackelford. She is survived by husband of 32 years Kim Roberts, her daughters and sons-in law, Kimberly Brooke and James Moore of Memphis and Kristin Diane and Michael New of Germantown, her grandson Austin Thomas New, her mother Demarice Kinard, a brother Jeff Kinard of Little Rock, AR, a sister Cheryl Smith of Ft. Worth, TX and other relatives. The family requests any memorials be sent to St. Jude Hospital.

Bennett and a brother Ralph Provow; 9 grandchildren, Theron, Jason, Mark, Brant and Jake Ruff; Brad Swiggart , Lori Graraffa, Ali Gladney and Ben Bingham; eleven great grandchildren Kelly, Taylor, Erin, Sara, Alex, Houston and Jessica Ruff; Talia, Lucia Joseph Garaffa IV and Keirsten Gladney.
