GOSNELL, CHESTER H., age 44, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Takoma Adventist Hospital in Greeneville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Gosnell.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; son, Marty Gosnell; daughters and sons-in-law, Melody Gosnell, Lisa and Curtis Key, Regina and Dwayne Fletcher; grandchildren, Devin Gosnell, Destiny Gosnell, Brandon Key, Amber Key, Traci Short, Daniell Short; father and step-mother, Boyce and Pat Gosnell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrell and Tammie Gosnell, Keith and Wendy Gosnell; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Rev. Randall Matthews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey and Jackie Moore; mother-in-law, Leona Gregory; brother and sisters-in-law, Debbie Moore, Paul and Julia Levesque; nieces and nephews, Jimmy and Mandy Gosnell, Candice Johns, Georgia Michelle Gosnell, Nikki Gosnell, Steven Matthews, Brandy Matthews; great nephew, Austin Matthews; special thanks to nurse Marie Pruitt.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gosnell, Steven Matthews, Allen Davis, C.B. Franklin, Curtis Key and Paul Levesque.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Moore and Bob Richards.
Family and friends will meet at Hamblen Memory Garden at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday for graveside services with Rev. Randall Matthews officiating.
The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.

JIMENEZ, GERARDO, age 30, passed away Sunday, May 21, as the result of a drowning accident.
Arrangements are pending and will be announced later by Dockery Funeral Home of Morristown.

KEYS, MARVIN SR., age 88, of Newport, died Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
He was a retired merchant, operating Keys Market for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Fine Keys, parents, Sanford Keys and Edna Keys Coates and brother, Woodard Keys.
He is survived by one son, Marvin Keys, Jr., devoted friend, Betty Grooms, of Newport, grandchildren, Randall Scott, Marsh Lynne and Kevin Shaun Keys, of Newport, great grandchildren, Ashley and Aspen Keys, of Newport, sisters, Essie Mack of Orlando, Fla. and Mary Ruth Reece, of Decater, Ala. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Manes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Scott Gorrell, Rev. Mike Hensley and Rev. James Suggs officiating.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Union cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

LEFFEW, BEULAH BURGESS, age 91, of Thorn Hill, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning, May 20, 200 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hamblen Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Westside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MARTIN, EVELYN passed away Sunday, May 21, 2000, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
raveside services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, at Sunderland cemetery with Rev. J.B. Gulley officiating.

MORGAN, EVERETT M., age 67, of Rutledge, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2000 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Christine of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Bethany of Ga.; stepson and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Nancy Cassidy of Blaine; daughter and son-in-law, Sheree and Frank Day of Talbott, daughter, Sharon Erny of Michigan; mother, Grace Morgan of Rutledge; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Mary of Clinton, James and Unavee of Talbott, Mike and Fern of Johnson City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha Ann and David Manley of Lenoir City, Diane and Frank Melton of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; special nurse, Donna Slagle; special friends, Roy and Jean Hodge.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2000 at 8 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Phillips, Rev. L.B. Pack and Rev. Stacy Lawson officiating.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Point Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening 6-8 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Central Point cemetery Fund.

PARVIN, MARY LIGHT, age 81, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2000 at Lakeway Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at Westside Chapel with Rev. Randall Parvin and Rev. Dave Potter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lee Valley cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

RUSSELL, BERTIE LEE, age 72, of 3629 Elwood Drive, Morristown, passed away Friday, May 19, 2000 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.
She was a member of Spruce Pine Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Russell; sons, Arlie and Billy Russell; and parents, Ham and Mattie Miner.
Survivors include children, Jerry and Pat Russell, Tony and Bonnie Russell, Hubert and Betty Russell, Curt Russell, Glenn Russell, Bobby and Kathy Russell, Wayne Russell, Patricia and Vernon Clark; 31 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; special friends, Fannie Granny Clark and Howard Ferrell; special nephews, Wayne, Gene and Arlie Brooks, Keith and Tammy Russell, Randy Russell; cousins, Clara Carpenter and Imogene Purkey; ex-daughters-in-law, Deana Musick, Bessie Coffey, Sherry Baker, Leonia Russell, Peggy Helton and Wanda Kuykendall.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at Old Spruce Pine Church with Rev. Glenn Rines, Rev. Jack Greene, Rev. Homer Murphy and Rev. Byron Chambers officiating.
Interment will be at Carpenter cemetery.
Friends may call at their convenience at 511 S. Henry Street, Morristown. Mayes Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

SEALS, RAYMOND "GEORGE," age 76, of 195 Petty Lane Road, Mooresburg, died Saturday, May 20, 2000 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
He was a member of Bentley's Chapel Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada R. Carpenter; father, Wilson Seals and uncle and aunt, Sam and Maggie Carpenter.
He is survived by his sister, Blanche Widish of Wisc.; three nieces, Mrs. Mark (Mary) Olson of Wisc., Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Fuhr of Ill., and Mrs. John (Joyce) Laboanch of Wisc.; three great nephews; two great nieces; eight half- sisters and two half-brothers.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at Colboch-Price Chapel with Rev. Basil Jones officiating.
Following the funeral service, Hawkins County Color Guard will conduct military honors at Highland cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2000, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville.

TIBBS, CHARLES EDWARD, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday in Knoxville.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell.
Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be New Bethel cemetery.

TILLER, ELLIS, age 70, of Morristown passed away on May 16, 2000.
A memorial service will be held at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown on Tuesday, May 23, 2000.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

WALKER, MARGARET LILLIAN, age 68, of Talbott, passed away at 12:01 a.m. Sunday morning, May 21, 2000, at her home.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a retired dietician at Jefferson Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Walker; and parents, Fate Allen and Lucille Purkey Williford.
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Donald Allen and Christy Walker of New Market; daughter-in-law, Sheila J. Walker of Alabama; grandchildren, Jonathan Walker and Donald Allen Walker Jr., both of New Market; sister, Mary Evelyn Denton of Talbott; very special aunt, Ruby Purkey of New Market; and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Betty Roach Underwood of Strawberry Plains.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, May 23, 2000, from the Calvary Baptist Church in Jefferson City with Reverend Coy Warren and Reverend Manson Lee officiating.
The body will lie in state for one hour prior to services at the church.
Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, May 22, 2000, at the funeral home.

WRIGHT, JEANNIA ANN, age 73, of Bean Station, passed away at her home on May 20, 2000.
She was a member of Mooresburg United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jim F. Wright and daughter, Rebecca Kay Wright.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Roy Carpenter; mother, Maude Hahn; grandchildren, Teresa Wolfe, Karen Gallagher and Jason Carpenter; four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 8 p.m. Monday at Mayes Mortuary with Rev. Denver Davidson officiating.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Central United Methodist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Mayes Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Cheryl Lyn Appleby, 42, of Woodbury, Tenn. and late of Nason, died 4:09 p.m. Oct. 13, 2001, at her home in Nason.
Funeral services and burial will be in Woodbury, Tenn.
