Bobby R. Price
Funeral services for Mr. Bobby R. Price, 60, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Sullivan and Rev. Keith Linder officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Price died Monday, March 25 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a driver for Emery Courier Service, of the Baptist faith, and a veteran of U.S. Army.

Born March 19, 1942, in Marion, TN, he was the son of the late Reed and Mossie (Murray) Price.

Survivors include a son, A.J. Price, Livingston; four daughters, Melinda Benke, Parker City, IN, Debbie Price, Muncie, IN, Kendra Clark, Livingston, and Rhonda Kluender, Crossville; two brothers, Ned Price, Port St. Lucie, FL, and James Price, Centerville, IN; and four sisters, June Allgood, Chandler, AZ, Bonnie Seber, Richland, MS, Glenna Knopp, Port St. Lucie, FL, and Wilma Morgan, Newcomb. Pallbearers were Marty Bull, Troy Morgan, Jim Hatcher, John Fisher, Herbert Clark, and Elza Clark.

Vance J. Little
Funeral service for Mr. Vance J. Little, 91, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Gore officiating. Burial was in Miller cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Little died Monday, March 25 at Vanderbilt University Hospital. He was a commercial buildings construction worker.

Born November 12, 1910, in Overton County, he was the son of the late John M. and Alta (Tompkins) Little. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Verdie Little, Varna Little, and Vernon Little; and three sisters, Velma Buck, Vera Little, and Violet Little.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille (Gore) Little, Livingston; and a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Grover Garrett, Estil Springs. Pallbearers were Darren Gore, John Little, Neil Ashburn, Jerry Webb, Scott Garrett, and Chuck Crabtree.

Johnny R. "John' Houser
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny R. "John" Houser, 30, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Nolan Cantrell officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Houser died Monday, March 25 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

Born December 6, 1971, in Danville, IL, he was the son of Fred Sr. and Ruth (Gilpin) Houser of Livingston.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a daughter, Virginia Houser, Veedersburg, IN; his grandmother, Grace Houser, Danville, IL; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred Jr. and Kim Houser, Portland; and a sister and brother-in-law, Tina and James Qualls, Livingston. Pallbearers were Butch Houser, Derek Houser, James Qualls, J.R. Clayburn, Danny Clayburn, and Bradley Clayburn. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Roger Thompson, Robert Tucker, and Bud Tucker.

Carlie D. Hicks
Funeral services for Mr. Carlie D. Hicks, 66, of Rickman, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2002, from the chapel of Rickman-Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Roberts officiating. Burial was in Eckel cemetery in Overton County with Rickman-Hall Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Hicks died Tuesday, March 26 at his home. He was a farmer.

Born February 10, 1936, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Alfred and Hallie (Johnson) Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hicks; two brothers, Carvel Hicks and Carman Hicks; and a grandson, Bradley Swallows.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Hicks, Crawford, and Mark Hicks, Sparta; three daughters, Dawn Wilson and Kim Fish, both of Rickman, and Lori Nichols, Celina; a brother, Caston Hicks, Rickman; and six sisters, Lillian Hicks, Jewel Dean Bennett, and Jenell Nelson, all of Rickman, Joyce Smith, Georgia, and Clara Gross and Cassie Pischottia, both of Ohio. Pallbearers were Chris Wilson, Josh Wilson, Andy Hicks, Mark Cantrell, Dusty Hicks, Ben Owens, and Tyler Nichols.

Emogene Anderson
Funeral services for Mrs. Emogene Anderson, 65, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with James Ryan Padgett officiating. Burial was in Ferrell cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday, March 27 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a food server and a member of Millers Chapel Christian Church.

Born June 27, 1936, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Eliza (Winningham) Ledford.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandy Beecham, Livingston, and Sharon and Buster Muth, Youngstown, OH; a brother, Grover "Pinky" Ledford, Livingston; a grandson, Christopher Smith; and a special niece and sister-in-law, Janet Duty, Cookeville, and Louella Ledford, Livingston.

Lemo Guffey
Funeral services for Mr. Lemo Guffey, 83, of Hanging Limb, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2002, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev. David Harris and Rev. Richard Rollins officiating. Burial was in Wilson cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Guffey died Friday, March 29 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilition Center in Monterey. He was a coal miner and a member of the Clarkrange Masonic Lodge #605.

Born December 29, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Melvin and Margaret (Smith) Guffey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Neoma (Bilbrey) Guffey; and a sister, Eliza Jane Miller.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Captola and Lee Melton, Monterey; six sons and six daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Glenda Guffey and Clendon B. and Anna Guffey, all of Hanging Limb, Kinley and Treva Guffey, Grimsley, Lendon and Ruth Guffey, Bloomington Springs, Quendon and Margaret Guffey, Monterey, and Clinton and Angel Guffey, Monroe; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Larry G. Stephens
Funeral services for Mr. Larry G. Stephens, 76, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Dee Ledford and Rev. Lyle Anderson officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home of Livingston in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Stephens, the owner of Livingston Auto Parts for 30 years, died November 5, 1999, at his home.

Born November 16, 1922, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Dallas and Pearl Brown Stephens.

He was a member of First Christian Church and the Civitan Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Gene Stephens, Livingston; a son, Michael Stephens, Livingston, two daughters, Rita Upton, Goodletsville, and Diane White, Cookeville; a sister, Jean Webb, Livingston; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy Stephens, Raymond White IV, Jason Stephens, David Upton, Nathan Kiekwood, and Keith Bellenfant.

Mose Worley
Funeral services for Mr. Mose Worley, 81, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Glenn Masters officiating. Burial was in Red Hill cemetery with Speck Funeral Home of Livingston in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Worley, a farmer, died November 3, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born January 13, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Newton Clarence and Tilda Little Worley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Homer Worley, Comer Worley, Billy Ray Worley, and William C. "Buck" Worley; and his sisters, Bertha Helen Worley, and Dollie Worley.

Survivors include his son, Lonnie Worley, Monroe; a daughter, Edna Worley Hair, Monroe; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Larry McCormick, Rickman; and a brother, John C. "Pete" Worley, Livingston.

Pallbearers were Martin Dewayne Hair, Robert Douglas Hair, Jackie Dewayne Worley, and James Lonnie Worley, Jr. Larry Earnest McCormick, Jr. was an honorary pallbearer.

Gregory Hutson Inman
Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Hutson Inman, 17, of Monterey, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Graveside services was at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2000, at Woodlawn cemetery in Lafollette with Speck Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Inman died December 17, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a student.

Born September 30, 1983, in Lincoln Park, MI, he was the son of Larry Inman of Lafollette and Jeanne Stehler Peters of Monterey.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include three brothers, Larry Inman, David Inman, and Timothy Inman, all of Crawford; five aunts, Shirley Rich, Baxter, Linda Horne and Sandy Huddleston, both of Lafollette, Barbara Inman, Clinton, and Brenda Stehler, Fayetteville, NC; six uncles, Willie Rich, Baxter, Skip Stehler, Fayetteville, NC, Ronald Stehler, York, PA, Robert Inman, Clinton, Ronnie Inman and Jerry Inman, both of Lafollette; and a cousin, Seth Drouillard, Crawford.

Margaret Deane Sweat
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Deane Sweat, 81, of Monroe, were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Winningham and Rev. Jack Irwin officiating. Burial was in the Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Sweat died Monday, December 18, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.

She was a retired school teacher and a member of Monroe Christian Church.

Born November 29, 1919, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Gorden and Lena Jane (Smith) McDonald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sweat.

Survivors include a son, Danny Sweat, Lyons, GA; three daughters, Janet Long, Hodgensville, KY, Ann Thurman, Hixon, TN, and Dr. Jane Brock, Lexington, KY; a sister, Anna Dee Conner, Paisley, FL; and eight grandchildren.

Bedford Lee Cope
Funeral services for Mr. Bedford Lee Cope, 73, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Cooper officiating. Burial was in the McDonald cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Cope died Thursday, December 21, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He was a farmer.

Born June 16, 1927, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Emmitt and Myrtle (Garrett) Cope.

Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie Hancock, Alpine, Betty Sue Lawson, Rickman, and Dean Ledbetter and Mary Fillers, both of Livingston; and six grandchildren.

Tracy A. Myers
Funeral services for Mr. Tracy A. Myers, 81, of Livingston, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cobb and Rev. Clarence Stewart officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home of Livingston in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Myers died November 5, 1999, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

Born September 18, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Luther Jackson and Sally Smith Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his brother, Luther Myers.

He was a member of First Baptist Church since 1947. He was also a member of Livingston Lodge #259, and he was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Myers, Livingston; a daughter and son-in-law, John and Cheryl Myers, Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Bob Richardson, Cookeville; two brothers, A.B. Myers, California, and Earl Myers, Livingston; five sisters, Mary Barker, Sparta, Marjorie Deck, Maryville, Edna Smith, Livingston, and Callie Melton and Betty Ashburn both of Cookeville; a granddaughter and husband, Dawn and Shawn Fry; and a grandson, Jeff Myers.

Pallbearers were Bill Huff, Bob Arnold, Clay Parsons, Paul Reagan, Bland Speck, and Bruce Harris.

Melbadine Roach Davis
Funeral services for Mrs. Melbadine Roach Davis, 68, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Flatt officiating. Burial was in the Emberton cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Davis, a housewife, died Thursday, August 31, 2000, at NHC Healthcare in Cookeville.

Born August 27, 1932, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Effie May McClusky Roach. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, James P. Davis, Cookeville; a daughter, Anna Lee Payne, Cookeville; two brothers, Bill Roach, Celina, and Eddie Roach, Indianapolis, IN; three sisters, Lorena Richardson, Livingston, Christine Smith, Celina, and Rosa Lee Cole, Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Jamie Wilson and Randell Mayberry; four step-grandsons; and four step-granddaughters.

Pallbearers were Jamie Wilson, William Bradley, Jamie Smith, Junior Smith, Bruce Merritt, and Dewayne Smith.
