Harley Christy Copeland
Funeral services for Mr. Harley Christy Copeland, 70, of Dayton, OH, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2002, from the chapel of Morris and Sons Funeral Home in Dayton. Burial was in Forrest Hills cemetery in Vandolia, OH, with Morris and Sons Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Copeland died Thursday, May 9 in Dayton.

He was the son of Bethel Copeland of Livingston and the late Conva (Smith) Copeland. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Robbins.

Survivors, in addition to her father, include a son, Scott Copeland; three brothers, Ray Copeland, Roy Copeland, and Kelly Copeland and wife, all of Ohio; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nellie and Fred Miller and Marie and Charley Danner, all of Ohio; a half brother, Junior Copeland, Livingston; and two grandchildren.

Ima C. Farmer
Funeral services for Mrs. Ima C. Farmer, 86, of Valdosta, GA, and formerly of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2002, from the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta with Pastor Carlton Allen officiating. Burial was in McLaneÕs Riverview Memorial Gardens with Carson McLane Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Farmer died Saturday, May 11 at Crestwood Nursing Home. She was a retired kindergarten teacher and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil L. Farmer; and a daughter, Magdalene Willoughby.

Survivors include two daughters and three sons-in-law, Neva Jean and Daniel McGuffey, Tipton, MI, Anna and Tommy Adkins, Valdosta, and Ben Willoughby, Cocoa, FL; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert and Pat Farmer, and Ron and Dian Farmer, all of Rockledge, FL, and Mike and Donna Farmer, Moultrie, GA; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Clura (Lawson) Hawkins
Funeral services for Mrs. Clura (Lawson) Hawkins, 87, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2002, from Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Dewey Masters officiating. Burial was in Poplar Springs cemetery with Dyer Funeral Home of Cookeville in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hawkins died Thursday, May 9. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Born April 2, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sarah (Moody) Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Burch Lawson, Henry Lawson, and Roy Lawson; and four sisters, Lura Lawson, Mary Jane Mabrey, Josie Wiley, and Dapho Morgan. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Janie Mabrey, Livingston; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and C.D. Robinson, Cookeville; a sister, Gertrude Smith, Jackson County; four grandchildren, Andrea Mabrey, Mathew Mabrey, Steven Robinson, and Karen Shatley; and three great grandchildren, Brittney Shatley, Sean Robinson, and Shannon Robinson. Pallbearers were her family and friends.

Albert Harry Keisling Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Albert Harry Keisling Sr., 87, of Kingsport, were conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002, from the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home in Kingsport. Burial was in East Lawn Memorial Park with East Lawn Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Keisling died Wednesday, May 8.

Born October 25, 1914, in Livingston, he was the son of the late John H. and Hazel Kate (Thrasher) Keisling.

Survivors include two sons, Edward "Bud" Keisling and Albert Keisling Jr; two daughters, Karen McClure and Cindy Shipley; a sister, Marie Blackburn; a brother, Doug Keisling; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Charles C. Little
Funeral services for Mr. Charles C. Little, 69, of Manchester, were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2002, from the chapel of Coffee County Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Hubbard and Dr. Benton Cox officiating. Burial was in Good Hope cemetery in Livingston with Coffee County Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Little died Thursday, May 9 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was a retired electrical engineer with AEDC and a Veteran of the US Navy.

Born November 25, 1932, in Livingston, he was the son of the late William Hershel and Clara Belle (Maddox) Little.

Survivors include his wife, Melva (Ramsey) Little, Manchester; two sons, Gilbert Little, Athens, AL, and Robert Bruce Little, Silver Point; a brother, Billy Jim Little, Livingston; and four grandchildren, Justin Little, Travis Little, Angela Little, and Lauren Little.

Robert Clayton McCormick
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Clayton McCormick, 69, of McEwen, were conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Elder L. Douglas Beaty officiating. Burial was in Beaty cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. McCormick died Friday, April 26 at Three Rivers Baptist Hospital in Waverly. He was a machinist/factory worker and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Born April 10, 1933, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Roy and Orpha Myrtle (Todd) McCormick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Dean (Cooper) McCormick; two brothers, Ward McCormick and Ray McCormick; and an infant sister.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and Gary Watzlavick, Tennessee Ridge, Andra and Paul D'Archangel, McEwen, and Debra and Chris Mock, Toledo, OH; a brother, Jerry McCormick, Dunlap; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Henry Foster, Allons; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Neil Beasley, Jim Hull, Steven Woronec, Di Sawetrat, Kris Williams, and John Woronec.

Bertha L. Morris
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha L. Morris, 90, of Cookeville, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2002, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home in Cookeville with Rev. Myron Greer officiating. Burial was in Dodson Chapel cemetery with Whitson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Morris died Friday, May 10 at Bethesda Healthcare Center in Cookeville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cookeville Assembly of God.

Born March 20, 1912, in Cookeville, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Bell (Thompson) Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erve Morris; a daughter, Maxine Morris; a brother, Charlie Webb; a sister, Bessie Flatt; and a great granddaughter, Megan Nicole Morris.

Survivors include seven sons and seven daughters-in-law, Richard and Jo Morris, Kenneth and Faye Morris, Calvin and Ruth Morris, and David and Betty Morris, all of Cookeville, and Charlie and Charlene Morris, Eugene and Priscilla Morris, and Bruce and Dorothy Morris, all of Michigan; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Paul Buck, Cookeville; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Louise (Beaty) Price
Graveside services for Mrs. Louise (Beaty) Price, 65, of Cookeville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2002, at Huerfano Masonic cemetery in Walsenburg, CO, with Bro. Gordon Kelly officiating. Local arrangements were provided by Livingston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Price died Tuesday, April 30 at her home. She was a restaurant owner/operator.

Born August 15, 1936, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Eula (Whittenburg) Beaty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Price; and a twin sister, Else Beaty.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Price, Cookeville; a son, Donald Price, Laveta, CO; three sisters, Nola Gieses, Pluebo, CO, Iladean Vitatoe, Pall Mall, and Eblin Nivens, Livingston; three brothers, H.L. Beaty, Pall Mall, Noble "Jake" Beaty, Byrdstown, and Dorman Beaty, Albany, KY; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Emma E. Reagan
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma E. Reagan, 93, of Allons, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2002, from Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Dewitt Sample officiating. Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Reagan died Saturday, May 4 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Born August 9, 1908, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Alice (Garrett) Reagan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, E.J. Reagan, Radford Reagan, and Willie D. Reagan. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Reagan, Allons; a son, J.C. Reagan, Allons; two daughters, Agnes Nelson, Allons, and Lois Cantrell, Rickman; 17 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; and a great-great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Steve Sidwell, David Cantrell, Roger Nelson, Donnie Nelson, Marvin Dale Reagan, Jimmie Wayne Reagan, James Reagan, Glen Reagan, and Ronnie Reagan.

Denton Sisco
Funeral services for Mr. Denton Sisco, 80, of the Crossroads Community near Monterey, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2002, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev. Terry McCloud and Rev. David Harris officiating. Burial was in Wilson cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Sisco died Tuesday, May 7 at his home. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Faith Chapel Baptist Church.

Born December 14, 1921, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Guthry and Dovie (Phillips) Sisco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dollie Blaylock; and a brother, Marvin Sisco.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl (Melton) Sisco, Crossroads Community; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth Sisco and Donnie and Glenna Sisco, all of Monterey; four granddaughters, Cindy, Tammy, Amy, and Rachel; and three great grandchildren.

Ella (Franklin) Stewart
Funeral services for Mrs. Ella (Franklin) Stewart, 88, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2002, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Dow Allen, Bro. Arvel Lee, and Bro. Frank Noland officiating. Burial was in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Whitson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Stewart died Friday, May 3 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was retired from Tennessee Technological University, where she worked in the maintenance department. She was a member of Post Oak Shade Freewill Baptist Church.

Born September 18, 1913, in Hilham, she was the daughter of the late Benton and Emily (Noland) Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Pleasant Stewart; a twin sister, Essie (Franklin) Hogue; a brother, Henry Franklin; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Beth Stewart.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles G. and Doris Stewart, Baxter, Albert and Wanda Stewart, Fortville, IN, and Morgan and Patricia Stewart, Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Willard Boles, Cookeville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Gladys Franklin, Woodstock, GA, Charlie and Esther Franklin, St. Petersburg, FL, and Wayne and Bonnie Franklin, Hendersonville; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Stepek and Mamie Montgomery, both of Crossville, and Gertrude and Thomas Lewis, Dearborn, MI; grandchildren, Roy Stewart, Dewayne Stewart, Kelly Fowler, Eddie Fowler, Danny and Alicia Stewart, Earl and Pam Stewart, Robert and Teresa Stewart, Amy and Jimmy Boniol, Cody and Holly Beth Stewart, and Bryan and Heather Emerton; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Grace Green Sidwell
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Green Sidwell, 95, of Gallatin, and formerly of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Coil, Bro. Jonathan England, and Bro. Burnice Wesbrook officiating. Burial was in Good Hope cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Sidwell died Monday, Dec. 31 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was a housewife and a long-time member of Livingston church of Christ.

Born September 7, 1906, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Dr. George W. and Ann Laura (Shields) Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank Lee Sidwell; a son, Dr. Walter Frank Sidwell; six brothers, Edd Green, Walter Green, Arch Green, Alex Green, Jim Green, and Bob Green; and three sisters, Ella Langford, Mary Lyle, and Alma "Pat" Upton. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jamie Sidwell, Gallatin; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Joyce Marie and Butch Holman, Livingston, and Betty Ann and Bill Johnson, Anaheim, CA; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were William Lee Holman, Dr. Ira Lee Sidwell, Jonathan Sidwell, Brian Carter, James William Massengille, Matthew Massengille, and Beau Massengille, her grandsons and great grandsons.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were W.H. "Butch' Holman, Dr. William H. Johnson, Kenny Sidwell, Dr. John Milton Bryan, Charles Langford, and Dr. L. George Upton.

Clinton Hershel Reagan
Funeral services for Mr. Clinton Hershel Reagan, 82, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, from Love And Grace Full Gospel Church with Bro. Johnny Rexroat officiating. Burial was in Mt. Era cemetery with Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Reagan died Friday, Jan. 4 at Fentress County Nursing Home. He was self-employed and a member of the Love And Grace Full Gospel Church in the Moodyville Community of Pickett County. As an elder of the church, he was instructional in the establishment of the church. He lived 20 years in Muncie, IN, and worked 15 years at Ball Brothers Glass Company in Muncie.

Born June 8, 1919, in Clarkrange, he was the son of the late James Harvey and Ester Elizabeth (Tompkins) Reagan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Coleen Creola Reagan; a son, James Clinton Reagan; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Leta and Bethel Huddleston, and Reba Nada and Kermit Garrett; and three brothers, Gilbert Reagan, Joe Reagan, and Delbert Reagan.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marietta and Kendall Mitchell, Nashville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenny and Rhonda Reagan, Livingston, and Andrew Reagan, Nashville; a brother, Bill Reagan, Muncie; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Sam Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, Michael Mitchell, Eric Reagan, Scott Reagan, and Casey Reagan. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Christina (Reagan) Driver, Billy Moody, Maxie Beaty, Bill Byrd, Henry Poore, and Stacy Moody.

Myrtle Phillips
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Phillips, 87, of Monterey, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey, with Rev. Tony Barnett and Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial was in Welch Memorial cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Phillips died Saturday, Jan. 5 at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Monterey Freewill Baptist Church.

Born June 7, 1914, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Joe and Emma (England) Looper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurston Phillips; a daughter, Pauline Phillips; three sisters, Dorothy Hinson, Bessie Key, and Ester Dixon; and two brothers, Herman Looper and A.P. Looper.

Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine Buttram, Dayton, OH, and Judy Phillips, Cookeville; six sons, Floyd Phillips, Monterey, Willie Gentry Phillips, New Carsile, OH, Kenneth Phillips, Dayton, OH, Gary Phillips and Donny Phillips, both of Mt. Juliet, and Larry Phillips, Garattis, OH; four sisters, Christine Phillips, Sparta, Margree Anderson, Nashville, and Artie Jane Sheets and Velma Livingston, both of Dayton, OH; a brother, Ernest Looper, Rickman; 32 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
