Don Wesley Daub
Funeral services for Mr. Don Wesley Daub, 65, of Celina, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at the Celina United Methodist Church with Rick Frazier officiating. Burial was in Kirk cemetery in Celina with Upton Funeral Home of Celina in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Daub, a retired employee of Dana Corp. in Ft. Wayne, IN, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born August 25, 1934, in Auburn, IN, he was the son of the late Leonard and Helen (Stevens) Daub. He was affiliated with the Celina First Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Shriner, Scottish Rite, Lodge, Shriner's Little 500, Vice-President D.E.A.A., past president of Ft. Wayne Men's Bowling Association, past secretary/treasurer of Dana Wednesday Bowling League and Dana Thursday Golf League.

Survivors include his wife, Doris (Kerr) Daub, Celina; a son, Don R. Daub, Louisville, KY; two daughters, Donna Selman, Boise, ID, and Donette Marden, Ft. Wayne, IN; three brothers, Richard Daub, Indianapolis, IN, James Daub, Yellville, AK, and Leonard Daub, Piqua, OH; a sister, Mary Jo Swain, Ft. Wayne, IN; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joseph Marden, Bobby Marden, Terry Campbell, Bennie Hestand, and Larry Eberly Jr. Bianski.

Celia McCowan
Funeral services for Celia McCowan, 88, of Monterey, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 26, 1999, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene McCowan and Rev. Glen Murphy officiating. Burial was in Love Joy cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. McCowan, a homemaker, died Tuesday, November 23, 1999, at her daughter's home in Cookeville.

Born February 8, 1911 in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Caleb and Emma (Rines) Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman McCowan; an infant daughter, Helen McCowan; a son, Clyde McCowan; five brothers; one sister; and two grandchildren, Debbie Greenwood and Lonnie McCloud.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Lola and Carl Key, Monterey, Anna and Loyce McCloud, Cookeville, and Delcie and Jim Sparks, Cookeville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Earl McCowan, Monterey, and Braden and Betty McCowan, Cookeville; one sister, Mary Ann Phillips, Monterey; eight grand children; 10 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

William E. "Bill" Campbell
Funeral services for Mr. William E. "Bill" Campbell, 72, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Halliburton and Rev. Ronald Whited officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Campbell, a watch maker with E. B. Gray Jewelers, died Friday, November 19, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born March 19, 1927, in Clayborn County, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ethel (Leabow) Campbell.

He was affialiated with the Lone Mountain United Methodist church in Tazewell.

Survivors include his wife, Lyda (Grimsley) Campbell; two brothers, Bob Campbell, Knoxville, and Dan Campbell, Tazewell; six nieces; and three nephews.

Pallbearers were Arlis Huffer, Freddie Huffer, Dale Keisling, Robert Arney, Robert Campbell and Bill Needham. Honorary pallbearers were members of Fellowship Sunday School Class at 1st United Methodist Church.

Mary Bean Breeding
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bean Breeding, 88, of Cookeville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, November 22, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Bary Ray and Rev. Raymond Lawson officiating. Burial was in Dodson Chapel cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Breeding, a housewife and farmer, died Saturday, November 20, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born June 11, 1911, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Susie (Rector) Bean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Arlow Breeding; a daughter, Mae Belle Breeding; 17 brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren.

She was a member of Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Rickman Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include a son, Joe Breeding, Crawford; a daughter, Ova Warren, Livingston; a sister, Avo Bennett, Livingston; 12 grandchildren, Geraldine Walker, Michael Walker, Shane Walker, Mary Walker, Patricia Bilbrey, Lonnie Breeding, Donnie Breeding, Billy Breeding, Willie Breeding, Teresa Breeding, Biddie Moore, and Earlene Norris; 18 great grandchildren; and two special friends, Bary Ray and Debbie Holman.

Pallbearers were Herman Bean, Bill Doran, Dan Waters, Ricky Anderson, Michael Walker, and Cecil Gentry.

Honorary pallbearers were Greg Gentry, Bryan Gentry, Aron Gentry, Thomas Gentry, and Shane Walker.

William "Buck" Jones
Memorial services for William "Buck" Jones, 64, of Sparta and formally of Crawford, were conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 1999, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Murphy officiating. Goff Funeral Home of Monterey was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Jones, a factory worker, died Sunday, November 21, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Lassie (Ledbetter) Jones, Vines Ridge Community, and the late William Ernest Jones. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Paulette Holmberg; and two brothers, 'Bubby' Eugene Jones, and 'Red' Kendell Jones.

Survivors in addition to his mother include two daughters, Loretto Jones, Michigan, and Cheryl Jones, Michigan; five sons, Keith Jones, Ovid, MI, Richie Jones, California, William Jones, Portage, IN, Kevin Jones and Jimmy Jones, both of Sparta; four sisters, Vauda Wilson, Vines Ridge Community, Mary Marie Jones, Battle Creek, MI, Carolyn Sue Mosher, Lancing, MI, and Brenda Kay Jones, Dimondale, MI; and 18 grandchildren.

Norman Johnson
Graveside services for Mr. Norman "Bob" Johnson, 78, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 1999, in Miller cemetery with H.C. Vanderpool officiating and Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Johnson, a retired custodian with Livingston Regional Hospital, died Sunday, August 1, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born March 29, 1921, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Dave and Cora Edna (George) Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alene Frances Johnson; three brothers, J.C. Johnson, Ottis Johnson, and Burrell Johnson; and two sisters, Avo Gray and Birda Carter.

He was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Keller, Livingston; a son, Danny W. Johnson, Livingston; two sisters, Trixie Sullivan, Livingston, and Dalpha Dailey, Celina; and a granddaughter, Brittany Maynard, Gallatin. Pallbearers were friends of the family.

Jessie Mae Riley Garrett
Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Mae Riley Garrett, 86, of Monroe, were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 1999, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Lyle Anderson and Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Garrett, a school cook for the Pickett County School System, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born August 27, 1912, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan 'Boss' and Etta Mae Franklin Riley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Garrett; two sons, Lester Garrett and Bill Garrett; a grandson, Rick Garrett; a sister, Margaret Hicks; eight brothers, Hurcle Riley, Ralph Riley, Cecil Riley, Wayne Riley, Homer Riley, Italy Riley, Pete Riley, and Benton Riley.

She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Lynn Matthews, Indianapolis, IN, and Jeannie and Harold Stockton, Livingston; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers were Gary Matthews, Roy Garrett, Joe Garrett, Philip Garrett, James Garrett, and Alan Matthews. Honorary pallbearers were Rusty Matthews, Crystal Matthews, Brandon Matthews, Andrew Mathews, Shane Stahl, Stephen Stahl, and Hollie Garrett.

Charles Robert McGee
Charles Robert McGee, 69, of Livingston, died Thursday, October 21, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born March 21, 1930, in Dawson Springs, KY, he was the son of the late Roy C. and Ruby Jane (Casteel) McGee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven D. McGee.

He was an aircraft and auto mechanic and served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Bricie Chestolene (Harris) McGee, Livingston; two daughters, Glenda L. 'Mrs. James E.' Tinsley, Livingston, and Elaine Pinkowski, Salt Lake City, UT; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Joseph and Sue McGee, Livingston; three sisters, Dorris Jackson, Madisonville, KY, Alcova Menser, Dawson Springs, KY, and Ruth Carter, Caroltin, TX; a brother, Billy McGee, Micshawaka, IN; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

John Marshall Randles
Graveside services for Mr. John Marshall Randles, 39, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, October 25, 1999, from Campground cemetery with Aaron Dillon officiating. Livingston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Randles, a truck driver, died Saturday, October 23, 1999, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.

Born February 17, 1960, in Chardon, OH, he was the son of Accellea (Webb) Randles of Livingston and the late Phillip James Randles.

He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother include a son, Johnathan Randles, West Virginia; and two brothers, Phillip Randles, Allons, and Jerry Randles, Rickman.

Nolan Royce Hinson
Funeral services for Mr. Nolan Royce Hinson, 77, of Clay County, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 1999, from the chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Dennis Miller officiating. Burial was in Moss cemetery in Moss with Upton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Hinson, a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Department, died October 21, 1999, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.

Born September 4, 1922, in Moss, he was the son of the late Hiram Bethel Hinson and Lela Jewell Yates Hinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kuell Hinson; and a sister, Alma Clark.

He was affiliated with the Moss Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Addie Burnette Hinson, three sons, Jeffery Hinson, Loxunburg, Germany, Roger Hinson, Baton Rouge, LA, and David Hinson, Mt. Juliet; two daughters, Sarah Lancaster, Monroe, NC, and Suzanne Goolsby, Mt. Juliet; two brothers, Russel Hinson, Chattanooga, and Arron Yates Hinson, Tompkinsville, KY; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Beulah Roberts Allen
Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Roberts Allen, 84, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 1999, from Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Dow Allen, Bro. Daily McCowan, Bro. Harold Walker, and Bro. Clayton Lee Jr. officiating. Burial was in Dodson Branch cemetery in Jackson County with Whitson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Allen, a housewife, died Tuesday, October 26, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Born December 26, 1914, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Frances (Allen) Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Allen; a sister, Lou V. Allen; and two brothers, Joe Roberts and Elmer Roberts. She was a member of Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Raymond Thompson, Cookeville; a brother, Walter Roberts, Flint, MI; five sisters, Lola Wilmoth, Pulaski, Lassie Myers, Lena Gentry, Dorotha Pearl, all of Cookeville, and Magdaline Smith, Atlanta, GA; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sherrie and Fred Shellenbarger, Cookeville; two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Danny Allen, Cookeville, and Terry and Carol Ann Allen, Cookeville; and two great grandchildren, Shayna Shellenbarger and Josh Dailey.

Gleeson P. "Jeep" Frasier
Graveside services for Mr. Gleeson P. "Jeep" Frasier, 79, of Livingston, were conducted at 4 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 1999, at Overton County Memorial Gardens with Dr. Lyle Anderson, Dr. David Moore, and Rev. Dee Ledford officiating and with Speck Funeral Home of Livingston in charge of the arrangements.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 1999 at First Christian Church in Livingston.

Mr. Frasier, a retired principal at Rickman School and a Tennessee Army National Guard retiree, died Saturday, October 30, 1999, at his home.

Born February 11, 1920, in White County, he was the son of the late Waymon and Myra Perry Frasier.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Livingston, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and Commander and Adjuntant of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Margret Frasier, Livingston; a son and daughter-in-law, John Eric and Cathy Frasier, Nacodoches, TX; a daughter and son-in-law, Delores and John Turnbull, Livingston; two sisters, Lottie Frasier, and Mollie Frasier both of Sparta; four grandchildren, Amy Hollars, Karen Wolfram, John Matthew Turnbull, and Daniel Justin Frasier; and five great-grandchildren.
