Funeral services for Mr. Paul Joseph Grasberger, 51, of Shelbyville, KY, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 1999, from the chapel of Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, KY, with Bro. Randy Stephens officiating. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. at Overton County Memorial Gardens with Shannon Funeral Home of Shelbyville, KY, in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Grasberger, a Wal-Mart manager, died Saturday, August 21, 1999, at his residence.

Born December 17, 1947, he was the son of Mary Tabacsko Grasberger and the late Paul Joseph Grasberger Sr.

He was a member of Shelbyville Church of Christ and a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Myrtle Stephens Grasberger, Shelbyville, KY; a daughter, Amy Kimberly Grasberger, Shelbyville, KY; three sisters, Mary T. Grasberger, Janet (Andrew) Koloski, and Marianne Grasberger, all of Freehold, NJ; and a nephew, Matthew Koloski, Freehold, NJ.

Reba Mae Bilbrey
Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Mae Bilbrey, 86, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Nolan Cantrell officiating. Burial was in Nelson cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Bilbrey, a housewife, died Thursday, August 19, 1999, at Madisonville.

Born April 21, 1913, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Joe D. and Fannie Burroughs Deck.

She was a member of Hatcher Hall Christian Church.

Survivors include four sons, Charlie Eugene Bilbrey, Monroe, Clavis Bilbrey, Livingston, Floyd Bilbrey, Crossville, and Jerry Kelly Bilbrey, Highland Mt. Community; four daughters, Lucille Wright, Maryville, Juanita Kirksey, Madisonville, Nina Oakley, Monroe, and Irene Neal, Englewood; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Larry Bilbrey, Darrell Bilbrey, Bryant Oakley, Tim Oakley, David Bilbrey, Jason Oakley, Glenn Kirksey, Anthony Bilbrey, and John Bilbrey.

Lee Adam Glover
Funeral services for Mr. Lee Adam Glover, 93, of Homer, AK, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Moser officiating. Burial was in Beaty cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Glover, a machinist, died Tuesday, August 17, 1999, in Homer, AK.

Born April 22, 1906, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Edward Randolph and Parlee Wiggins Glover.

Survivors include two sons, Lee Roy Glover, Anchor Point, AK, and Bob Glover, Sierra Vista, AR; two daughters, Evelyn Moser, Miranda, CA, and Betty Yohpe, Norcrosse, GA; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

James K. Polk Bilbrey
Funeral services for Mr. James K. Polk Bilbrey, 81, of Algood, were conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, August 20, 1999, from the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Gaw officiating. Burial was in Algood cemetery with Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Bilbrey, farmer and retired owner and operator of Bilbrey's Greenhouse in Algood, died Wednesday, August 18, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Born February, 26, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Elmore and Kate Newberry Bilbrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hallie Bilbrey.

He was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and had served as a deacon at Algood First Baptist Church. He served more than 20 years as a justice of the peace on the Putnam County Quarterly Court, now known as the Putnam County Commission.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Hunter Bilbrey, Algood; two daughters, Margaret Crosby, Fairview, and Lisa Hyder, Lancaster, MA; a son, Gerald Bilbrey, Algood; two sisters, Edith Adkins, Algood, and Bessie Dillon, Rickman; a brother, J.B. Bilbrey, Cookeville; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Kelly Jack Daniels
Funeral services for Mr. Kelly Jack Daniels, 25, of Allons, were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 1999, from Martins Chapel Methodist Church with Perry Clayton and Bobby Gore officiating. Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Daniels, a construction worker, died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.

Born April 5, 1974, in Putnam County, he was the son of Joe and Vickie Garrett of Livingston and Jane and Ronnie Melton of Allons. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Montie Daniels and Eula Mae Daniels Garrison; his grandfather, Alvin Garrett; and his step-grandparents, Champ Melton, and Lester and Eula Spears.

He was a member of the Martins Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Jane and Ronnie Melton, Allons, and Joe and Vickie Garrett, Livingston; his grandmother, Elise Garrett, Livingston; his step-grandmother, Harlene Melton, Celina; a sister, Misty Garrett, Livingston; and two brothers, Garon Garrett, Livingston, and Matthew Melton, Allons.

Pallbearers were Tony Maxfield, Frank Ray, David Smith, Jonathan Daniels, Mike Buell, Glen Raines, William D. Raines, and Shane Booher.

Lorene Holt Long
Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Holt Long, 78, of Livingston, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 21, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Long, a housewife, died Monday, July 19, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born April 22, 1921, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late William Perry and Lucille Williams Holt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Long. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Curtis Long, Livingston; two daughters, Margaret Lucas, Knoxville, and Joyce Sells, Washington, NC; two brothers, Cecil Holt, Blacksburg, VA, and Bill Holt, Lebanon; a sister, Helen Waddwell, Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Curt Long, Tim Bissell, Denny Sells, Jameson Glass, Eddie Davidson, and Jim Glass.

Nellie Maude Maynord
Funeral services for Nellie Maude Maynord, 90, of Cookeville, were conducted at 11 a.m., Sunday July 17, 1999, from the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home with Bro. Comer McGuire officiating. Burial was in Netherland cemetery with Hooper & Huddleston in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Maynord, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Brassell's Residential Home in Portland.

Born November 24, 1908, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sarah Danner Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nines Maynord; a daughter, Betty Lavin; two brothers, Arnold Thompson and Archie Thompson; and a sister, Elease Thompson.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Burcham, Goodlettsville, Sarah Wilborn, Michiana Shores, IN, and Wanda Bilyeu, Chattanooga; two sisters, Hallie Norrod and Elizabeth Norrod both of Rickman; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Perry Norrod
Funeral services for Mr. Perry Norrod, 97, of Monterey, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1999, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Clagg and Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial was in Welch Memorial cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Norrod, a coal miner, farmer, and timber cutter, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Standing Stone Health Care Center.

Born October 20, 1901, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Will and Belle Bowman Norrod. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Reid Norrod; a daughter, Jean Phillips; a son, Willie Ray Norrod; three infant children; two grandsons, Alan Bowman and Larry Ray Norrod; three sisters, Bertie Swigert, Nellie Reed, and Mindy Looper Weeks; and four brothers, Virgil Norrod, Burton Norrod, Curtis Norrod, and Cortes Norrod.

Survivors include a daughter, Claudia Bowman, Monterey; a son, Owen Norrod, Monterey; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchildren.

Velma Peterman
Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Peterman, 93, of McMinnville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 1999, from the chapel of High Funeral Home with Kevin Deason officiating. Burial was in Viola cemetery with High Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Peterman, a homemaker, died Friday, July 9, 1999, at NHC McMinnville.

Born September 9, 1905, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late George Bilbrey and Flora Howard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pendy Peterman. She was a member of Viola Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Imogene Moredock, Viola; three sons, Lester Howard Peterman, Charleston, SC, Bedford Peterman, Goodletsville, and Ken Peterman, Nashville; a brother, Earl Delon Bilbrey, Old Hickory; two sisters, Vocle Cannon, Hendersonville, NC, and Loverda Upton, Cookeville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Carl A. Poston
Funeral services Mr. Carl A. Poston, 58, of Knoxville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, Saturday, July 17, 1999, from the chapel of McCarty-Weaver Funeral Home in Knoxville with McCarty-Weaver Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Poston died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Park West Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Poston, Knoxville; a son, Randy Poston, Nashville; a daughter, Debbie Wheeler, Indianapolis, IN; three sisters, Gladys Poston, Livingston, Mildred Melton, Moss, and Reva White, Hermitage; two brothers, Ward Poston, Livingston, and O.H. Poston, Michigan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Grace Robbins
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Robbins, 88, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 16, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Boles officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Robbins, a housewife, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born August 10, 1910, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Nannie Clinton Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Robbins.

She was a member of Hilham Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, John Robbins, Livingston; a grandson, David Robbins, Livingston; a great grandson, John Ross Robbins, Livingston; and a sister, Johnnie Masters, Celina.

Pallbearers were Tony Bilbrey, Brian Hogue, Bud Swallows, Gene Robbins, Bobby Coffman, and Gene Pennington.

Clara Blessing
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Blessing, 74, of Monterey, will be conducted at 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, July 14, 1999, from the Vielhauer-Clepper Funeral Home in Cincinnati, OH, with Bro. Tony Phipps officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 15 in Graceland Memorial Gardens in Mt. Repose, OH. Goff Funeral Home in Monterey was in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Blessing, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Hospital.

Born October 28, 1924 in Crawford, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ada Beaty Bowman Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Blessing; a son, Gary Blessing; a granddaughter, Sarah Elaine Blessing; a sister, Anna Norrod; and two brothers, Boyd Bowman and Lloyd Bowman Jr.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Jackson, Monterey; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Dolly Blessing, Cincinnati, OH; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and her sister, Olon Key, Dayton, OH.

Earnest McCormick Jr.
Kenny W. Vaughn Funeral services for Mr. Kenny W. Vaughn, 42, of Monterey, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 12, 1999, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Phillips officiating. Burial was in Welch Memorial cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Vaughn, a coal miner, died Wednesday, November 10, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Born October 13, 1957, in Barberton, OH, he was the son of Beck Vaughn and the late Thelma Genelle Durham Vaughn. Survivors include two daughters, Kenndra Benson and Erin Vaughn, both of Monterey; a son, Caleb Vaughn; three sisters, Donna Randolph, Lebanon, Debbie Randolph, Mt. Juliet, and Diane Vaughn, Cookeville; a brother, Jerry Vaughn, Monterey; a step daughter, Sarah Johnson, Monterey; and his fiance, Cathy Johnson, Monterey.
