Funeral services for Ms. Glynna Mae Hassler Richardson, 44, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 10 a.m., Monday, July 26, 1999, from the chapel of Byrdstown Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Burial was in Lovelady-Sims cemetery with Byrdstown Memorial Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Ms. Richardson, died Friday, July 23, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born November 8, 1954, in Livingston, she was the daughter of Glenn Wheeler and Dorothy Rains Hassler.

Survivors in addition to her parents include a son, Brad Richardson; and a daughter, Monica Richardson.

Edward W. Bell
Funeral services for Mr. Edward W. Bell, 77, of Battle Creek, MI, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Newsome Harvey officiating. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery in Alpine with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Bell, a retired machine operator, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, in Battle Creek, MI.

Born December 8, 1921, in Stager, IL, he was the son of the late Kate Miller.

He was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek, MI, a member of Ira Beck Lodge #503, and past commander of Sgt. Donovan L. Fisher Chapter 121.

Survivors include his wife, Opal Norris Bell, Battle Creek, MI; a daughter, Karen Hasler, Troy, MI; and two granddaughters, Amy Hasler and Katie Hasler.

Pallbearers were James C. Winton, James T. Winton, Luke Roy, Kyle Roy, Glenn Winton, and Aaron Winton.

Dallas Spicer
Funeral services for Mr. Dallas Spicer, 82, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating. Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Spicer, a dairy farmer, died Thursday, May 27, 1999, at Overton County Nursing Home.

Born April 10, 1917, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Tom and Ava Savage Spicer.

He was a Baptist and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Spicer, Livingston; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane and Dale Mabry and Sue Ellen McDonald, both of Livingston; and four grandchildren, Dana Mabry, Rachel Mabry, Kelli McDonald, and Jade McDonald.

Pallbearers were R.G. Huddleston, Carl McDonald, Riley Johnson, Jeff Neal, Donnie Savage, and Larry Savage.

Dixie Lamon Morgan
Funeral services for Mrs. Dixie Lamon Morgan, 86, of Livingston, were conducted Friday, June 25, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Morgan, a retired dry goods merchant, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born January 12, 1913, in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Cager B. and Lavina Hargis Glover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Morgan; and two sisters, Eva Steen and Lena Coley.

She was a member of Days Crossroad Baptist Church in Lafayette.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Young, Monroe; three sisters, Susie Tuck, Kentucky, Madgalene Likens, Indiana, and Athalene Crane, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Annette Young, Monroe, and Robert and wife Joan Young, Columbia; two great grandchildren, Caitlin Young and Michael Young; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Parsons, Keith Emerich, Jim McGill, Bruce Harris, Randy Dodson, and Tommy Stephens.

James Barlow Brown
Funeral services for Mr. James Barlow Brown, 73, of Clay County, were conducted at 1 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 1999, with Lawrence Williamson officiating. Burial was in Moss cemetery with Upton Funeral Home of Celina in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Brown, a farmer, died Friday, June 25, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born March 20, 1926, in Moss, he was the son of the late Bob and C. Elsie Eads Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Madge Anderson Brown; two sons, Ronnie Brown, Petersburg, IN, and James W. Brown, Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Judy Sims, Red Boiling Springs; eight step-children; and a sister, Gertrude Green, Celina.

Suzetta V. Hamilton
Funeral services for Mrs. Suzetta V. Hamilton, 48, of Alpine, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. David Beaty officiating. Speck Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hamilton, a factory worker, died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at her home.

Born August 22, 1950, in Davis County, KY, she was the daughter of Lois Rachael Hancock Rearden, Owensboro, KY, and the late James Robert Vanover.

She was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian in Alpine.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Beco Hamilton, Alpine; a son, Beco Hamilton III, Hilham; two daughters, Scarlett Hamilton and Rachael Hamilton, both of Alpine; five sisters, Shirley Heppler, Sturgis, KY, Martha Payne, Lewisport, KY, and Katherine Ezell, Bobbi Burden, and Sandy Johnson, all of Owensboro, KY; and a granddaughter, Allison Hamilton.

J. B. Smith
Funeral services for Mr. J. B. Smith, 57, of Knoxville and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating. Burial was in Camp Ground cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Smith, a farmer, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Ft. Sanders Medical Center.

Born June 8, 1942, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Willis and Violet Carter Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Perry Smith.

He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two brothers, Elmer Smith, of Piney Flat, and Bobby Smith, Loudon; a half-brother, Jimmy Smith, Livingston; three half-sisters, Patricia Qualls and Linda Smith, both of Livingston, and Brenda Eldridge, Alpine; and a sister-in-law, Cathleen Smith, Livingston.

Pallbearers were Tommy Guy, David Beaty, Robert Stewart, Daniel Poston, Teresa Smith, and Betty Helms.

Anna Mae (Ramsey) Boian
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Mae (Ramsey) Boian, 76, of Monroe, were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 1999 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Harris officiating. Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Boian, a homemaker, died June 16, 1999, at her home.

Born December 6, 1922, in Jackson Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Jesse Ramsey and Eliza Nola (Turner) Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Viola Ramsey and Louise Sowder; and two brothers, Ray Ramsey and Millard Ramsey.

She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Boian, Monroe; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Cloyd Stratton, Monroe; two sisters, Fannie Parks and Carrie Hacker, both of Hamilton, OH; three brothers, Clayton Ramsey, Bill Ramsey, and Bob Ramsey, all of Hamilton, OH; five grandchildren, Jeff Wehr, Daytona Beach, FL, Rob Wehr, Coral Springs, FL, Mike Wehr, Livingston, Jill Woolum, Dayton, OH, and Drew Stratton, Allons; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jeff Wehr, Rob Wehr, Mike Wehr, Drew Stratton, Steve Woolum, and Chester Whittamore. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Carl Bowman
Funeral services for Mr. Carl Bowman, 65, of the Love Joy Community near Monterey, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 1999, from the chapel of Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Clayton Padgett officiating. Burial with military honors conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard consisting of V.F.W. Post 6277 and V.V.A. Post 741 was in Love Joy cemetery with Horner Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Bowman died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at his home.

Born October 27, 1933, in Overton County, he was the son of the late William Virgil and Mary Lou Bowman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Bowman, and two sisters, Marie Bowman and Dimple Bowman.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mae Bowman, Monterey; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Doug Reed, Bill Reed, Bo Reed, Arnold Bowman, Deloy Bowman, Bobby Bowman, Claude Maxwell, and Justin Maxwell.

Jerry Ricky Key
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Ricky Key, 37, of Hanging Limb, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 1999, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev. A.J. Looper officiating. Burial was in Welch Memorial cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Key, an employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation at Livingston, died Thursday, June 17, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born December 17, 1961, in Monterey, he was the son of the late Gentry E. Key and Bertha Mae Looper Key.

Survivors include his wife, Carla Lineberry Key, Hanging Limb; two daughters, Sara Mae Key and Hannah Rebecca Key, both of Hanging Limb; a sister, Edith Key, Hanging Limb; and a brother, Laddie Key, Hanging Limb.

Landon A. (Curly) Andrews
Funeral services for Mr. Landon A. (Curly) Andrews, 63, of Frankfort, IN, and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 1999, from Allons Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Geren officiating. Burial with military honors by James T. Davis V.F.W. Post 5062 was in Miller cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Andrews, a truck driver, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at his home.

Born June 12, 1936, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Elvin and Monnie Glasscock Andrews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sisters; and a brother, Horace Andrews.

He was a member of Allons Baptist Church and Fraternal Order of the Eagles Veteran Army.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Andrews, Liberty, KY; four sons, Craig Andrews, Randy Andrews, and Landon Andrews, all of Liberty, KY, and Michael Andrews, Russell Springs, KY; a daughter, Regina Long, Liberty, KY; two sisters, Ila Ruth Parks, Morgantown, IN, and Reba Collins, Carthage, TN; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Fred Andrews, Doyle Andrews, Glenn Andrews, Wilmoth Andrews, Donnie Andrews, and Mark Andrews.

Mary Ferrell Huckeby
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ferrell Huckeby, 75, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Warren officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Huckeby, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Smith County Health Care in Carthage.

Born September 25, 1923, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Elmo and Nettie Davis Ferrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Huckeby; and two brothers, A.B. Ferrell and Cordell Ferrell.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Livingston.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and J.E. White, Buffalo Valley; a brother, Sylvester Ferrell, Muldraugh, KY; two granddaughters, Renee Clouse and Becky Davis; three grandsons, Robert Melton, Brian Melton, and Jay Melton; and two great grandsons, Christopher Melton and Brett Davis.

Pallbearers were Rex Clouse, David Davis, Brian Melton, Jay Melton, Billy Joe Holt, and Lynn King.
