Mary Bottoms
Mary Hale Bottoms of East Ridge died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at a local hospital. She was 71.
A native of Fort Payne, Ala., she was a longtime Chattanooga area resident, retiree of the Hamilton County Nursing Home and East Ridge Hospital, and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Bottoms; daughter, Angela Hale Condra, Loudon, Tenn.; three sons, James R. and Jack C. Hale, both of Chattanooga, and Jerry E. Hale, Decatur, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road with minister Bill Mason officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Gladys Bouldin
McMINNVILLE, Tenn. - Gladys Rebecca Fults Bouldin died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998 in an area hospital. She was 72.
A native of Grundy County, she was a homemaker, the widow of Glenn Bouldin, and a member of Westwood Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Jones, McMinnville; a son, Bobby Bouldin, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McMinnville Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Gray officiating.
Burial will follow in Altamont cemetery.
The family will receive friends today after 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Elaine Boykin
Elaine Boykin died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, in a local hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Paul McDaniel officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Raymond Brackett
Raymond A. Brackett of Rossville died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at his home. He was 87.
A longtime resident of the north Georgia area, he was retired from Corley Manufacturing Co. after 30 years, was a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church and the Mitchell Sunday School Class, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Griffith Davis Brackett; son, Jim Davis, Ringgold; sister, Sarah Calloway, Ringgold; four brothers, Ben H. Brackett, Rossville, Charles E. Brackett, Canton, N.Y., William M. Brackett, Houston, Texas, and James F. Brackett, Adairsville, Ga.; two grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Sloan officiating.
Burial will be in Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Louise Bradford
CALHOUN, Tenn. - Louise Knight Bradford died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998. She was 74.
She was a retired textile employee and a member of Blackwood Springs Baptist Church and the Blackwood Keenagers Club, and the widow of James Julius 'Sarge' Bradford.
Survivors include two daughters, Judi Fitch, Calhoun, Elaine Anderson, Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Blackwood Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Harold Willis and Stephen Holloway officiating.
Burial will follow in Chandler cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, Calhoun.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Jennie Branaham died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in a local nursing home. She was 88.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Jennie Eloise Branham died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in an area nursing home. She was 87.
She was the widow of Ernest Branham and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Lillian Swallows, Cleveland; one son, Cherriell Branham, Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Virginia Price, Cleveland; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home in Cleveland, with the Rev. Mike Friday and the Rev. Gene Price officiating.
Burial will follow in McInturf cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dan Brewer
J. Dan Brewer died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in an Orlando, Fla., hospital.
He was a former resident of Ooltewah who was residing in Winter Park, Fla., at the time of his death.
He was a retired earth-moving contractor, a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church and a former trustee of the Hamilton County Nursing Home.
He was a member of Ooltewah Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include a daughter, Gale Howard, Winter Park; one grandson; and two brothers, William H. Brewer, Houston, Texas, and Hughes H. 'Joe' Brewer, Sewanee, Tenn.
Services will be held Wednesday at Cox-Parker Funeral Home in Winter Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ooltewah Baptist Church.
Joan Bridges
Joan Andra Croft Bridges of Collegedale, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 48.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Eastside Church of Christ in Cleveland, with the Rev. John Michael Currie officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday after 6 p.m. at the church.

ENGLEWOOD, Tenn. - Raymond L. Brock died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, in an Athens, Tenn., nursing home. He was 80.
A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Englewood United Methodist Church, and the husband of the late Beulah Brock.
Survivors include two daughters, Eva Moses, Englewood, and Wanda Davis, Cleveland, Tenn.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 8 p.m. at the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Cindy Baxter and Mike Ogle officiating.

Infant Lyndzi Dallas Brooks died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at her home.
Survivors include her mother, Tabitha Warren; father, Floyd Brooks Jr.; two sisters, Cynthia and Kymberli Brooks; brother, Floyd Brooks II, all of Chattanooga; grandparents, Fairal and Misty Warren, Michigan, Cynthia and Bill Pridemore, Morristown, Tenn., and Carolyn and Floyd Brooks Sr., Chattanooga; great-grandparents, Jean and Steve Kindrick, Rossville, Ga., and Bobby Montgomery, Ooltewah; great-great-grandmother, Margie Williams, Rossville.
