Funeral services for Mr. Roy Phillip Eddy, age 56, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holiness Church of God with Bro. Sonny Moore officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Eddy was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Roy Elisha & Mattie Sue Stewart Eddy, a roofer and a member of the Holiness Church of God. Along with his parents, Mr. Eddy was preceded in death by 1 sister: Brenda Poarch. Survivors include his wife: Debbie Eddy of Fayetteville, TN; 1 daughter: Tina & Tony Smith of Athens, GA; 1 step-daughter: Mary Frances & Ricky Patterson of Fayetteville, TN; 1 step-son: Johnny & Jacqueline Holder of Lynchburg, TN; 3 sisters: Gayle Wright of Toney, AL, Patsy Colvard of Dalton, GA, Wanda & Gene Thompson of Mulberry, TN; 1 half-sister: Lana Brown of Belfast, TN; 1 brother: Ray & Jean Eddy of Flintville, TN and 9 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday after 3:00 p.m. at the Holiness Church of God.

Mr. David Walker

Funeral services for Mr. David Walker, age 87, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006, at his residence, will be conducted Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bros. Gary Williams, John Ben Neal & Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Walker was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Jasper Z. & Mary Viola Bradley Walker, a machine operator, a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife: Ruby Walker; 1 daughter: Linda Williams; 1 son: Jeff Walker all of Flintville, TN; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mildred Wilbanks

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Wilbanks, age 88, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Lincoln Skilled Care Center, will be conducted Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in New Grove Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wilbanks was a native of Marshall Co., TN, daughter of the late Henry & Princie Smith Jones, a dairy farmer and a member of the Holiness Church. Survivors include her son: Robert Caldwell; 2 brothers: Edward Smith & Jimmy Smith all of Fayetteville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nellie Oreva Raybon

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Oreva Raybon, age 71, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at her residence, will be conducted Friday, November 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Dickey Sebastian officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery. Mrs. Raybon was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Henry & Gladys Fennell Hardin, retired as a dietary technician after 30 years service at the Lincoln Medical Center, and a member of the St. John A.M.E. church at Mulberry, TN. Survivors include 5 daughters: Donna Raybon of Fayetteville, TN, Alethea & Patrick Shirley of Huntsville, AL, Sherry & Shawn Mastin of Chattanooga, TN, Tonya & Collier Mastin, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Sonya Mastin of Huntsville, AL; 3 brothers: William Edward & Ruth Hardin, M.C. & Emma Hardin both of Fayetteville, TN, Walter & Zorella Hardin of Dayton, OH; 7 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Fred R. Steelman

Funeral services for Mr. Fred R. Steelman, age 78, of the Charity Community in Moore Co., TN, who passed away Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Lincoln Skilled Care Center, will be conducted Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Richard Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Mr. Steelman was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Thomas Sam & Irene Hudson Steelman, and a farmer. Along with his parents, Mr. Steelman was preceded in death by 1 brother: Walter D. Steelman. Survivors include his wife: Dorothy Armstrong Steelman; 1 son: Jerry Steelman; 3 grandsons: Brian, Greg & Bradley Steelman; 1 great granddaughter: Brianna Steelman; 1 step-great grandson: Tyler Dean; 1 sister: Louise Cox and 1 brother: Morgan Steelman all of Moore Co., TN. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Earl Bradford

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Bradford, age 77, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Donalson Care Center, will be conducted Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. graveside in Flintville Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bradford was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Mack & Anna Pearson Bradford. He was a farmer. Survivors include 3 sisters: Annie Lou Sims, Dean Honea, Dot Hudson all of Flintville, TN and 2 brothers: Raymond Bradford of Fayetteville, TN, Richard Bradford of Flintville, TN.

Mrs. Rachel D. Thomison

Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel D. Thomison, age 85, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Vanderbilt Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church with Rev. Chris Grizzard officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. Mrs. Thomison was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late John Henry & Kattie Lee Snoddy Drake, a housekeeper and a member of the St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Survivors include 4 daughters: Katie Mae Thomison of Detroit, MI, Alice Faye Thomison of Huntsville, AL, Sandra Ann Borden of Detroit, MI, Mary Thomison House of Huntsville, AL; 1 son: Edward Thomison of Fayetteville, TN; 1 sister: Ida Knott of Detroit, MI; 1 brother: Charles Drake of Winchester, TN; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. William Thornton Howell

Funeral services for Mr. William Thornton Howell, age 69, of Huntsville, AL, who passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in the Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. graveside in Kelso Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Howell was a native of Fayetteville, TN, son of the late James & Edna Howell and a handyman. Survivors include his wife: Tracy Howell of Huntsville, AL; 1 daughter: Paige Howell of Huntsville, AL; 2 sons: Terry Howell of Harvest, AL, Michael Dennis Howell; 1 step-daughter: Angela Frances Lowry; 2 step-sons: Johnny William Lowry & Christopher Lowry all of Huntsville, AL and 5 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Saturday morning from 9 until 10 a.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Donald Wayne Porter,SR

Funeral Service for Mr. Donald Wayne Porter, Sr., age 63, of Lynnville, TN. who passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Maury Regional Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Shields and Bro. Pete Crim officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Porter was a native of Lincoln Co., son of Nellie Scanlen and the late Fred Levi Porter, an Army veteran, a member of the VFW and Brown Teal Baptist Church where he was an Associate Pastor and Deacon. He was a former deputy sheriff in Marshall County and former employee of Cosmolab. Survivors include his wife: Patricia Gayle Porter of Lynnville, TN; daughter: Elizabeth Carolyn Patterson of Pulaski,TN; son: Donald Wayne Porter, Jr. of Pulaski, TN; grandchildren: Matthew Wayne Patterson, Lauren Elizabeth Porter, Rebecca Caytlin Porter, Rylee Morgan Patterson, Pride Patterson & Lucas Cain Patterson; mother: Nellie Scanlen of Fayetteville; sister: Sandra Kay Durham of Fayetteville, TN and brother: Fred Levi Porter, Jr. of King City, CA. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brown Teal Baptist Church in memory of Donald Wayne Porter, Sr.

Mr. Richard Doughty

Funeral Services for Mr. Richard Doughty, age 59, of Gurley, Alabama who passed away Monday December 17, 2006 in the Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Doughty was a native of El Cintro, California, son of Johnnie Doughty Carmichael and the late William "Bill" Doughty. He was a truck driver, a merchant marine and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survivors include his wife: Deborah Kay Doughty of Gurley, Alabama; daughters: Rhonda Gaskins of Mt. Vernon,  Washington, Amber Silva of Tehachapi, California, Levi Doughty of Tehachapi, California; step-son: Jim Morgan of Gurley, Alabama; mother: Johnnie Doughty Carmichael of Moses Lake,  Washington, sisters: Leta Carter of Anacortes,  Washington, Sandy Cheshire of Utah; brother Bob Doughty of Anacortes,  Washington and 10 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from noon until time of service.

Mr. Bradley Clayton 'Booty' Pigg, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Bradley Clayton 'Booty' Pigg, Jr., age 54, of Petersburg, TN, who passed away Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Maury Regional Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Mr. Pigg was a native of Bedford Co., TN, son of the late Bradley Clayton Pigg, Sr. & the late Christine Marie Moore Pigg. He was a carpenter, an Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include 1 son: Jason Pigg of Cornersville, TN; 2 brothers: Edward C. Pigg of Belfast, TN and James Larry Pigg of Petersburg, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church.
