Mr. Terry Miles

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Miles, age 46, of Gilchrist, TX, who passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Medical Center of Southeast  Texas, will be conducted Sunday, February 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mr. Miles was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of Jo Reba Porter Miles and the late Charles Sanford Miles. He was a truck driver and assistant chief of the Gilchrist Voluntary Fire Department. Survivors include his wife: Donna Shae Miles of Gilchrist, TX; 1 daughter: Lindsey Breann Miles of Gilchrist, TX; 1 son: James Charles & Victoria Miles of Gilchrist, TX; mother: Jo Reba Porter Miles of Port Bolivar, TX; 1 brother: James Timothy Miles of Taft, TN; grandmother: Edith Jewel Metcalf Porter of Port Bolivar, TX and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Terry Miles service at Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Gary Wayne Clark

Funeral services for Mr. Gary Wayne Clark, age 56, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his residence, will be conducted Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Lincoln and Rev. Charles Marable officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Golightly Cemetery. Mr. Clark was a native of Madison Co., AL, son of the late William Richard & Clara Lucile Dunson Clark, a carpenter, an Army veteran and a member of the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by 1 son: Michael Wayne Clark. Survivors include his wife: Sharon Beverly Clark of Hazel Green, AL; 2 sons: Gregory Alan & Jackie Clark of Daphne, AL, Nathan Wayne & Candice Clark of Hazel Green, AL; 3 grandchildren: Gabby, Delaney, Kyle; 4 sisters: Pamela Davis of Toney, AL, Sabrina Miller, Marica Bolin both of Hazel Green, AL, Kathy Bates of Petersburg, TN; 3 brothers: Dennis Clark of Panama City, FL, Donald Clark of Ardmore, AL, William Clark of Toney, AL and special friend: Andy Wallace. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Inez Gardner

Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Gardner, age 78, of Elora, TN, who passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 at her residence, will be conducted Monday, February 12, 2007 at11:00 a.m. at the Rock Church of Jesus with Bro. Howard Riddle officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Gardner was a native of New Market, AL, daughter of the late Johnny Kenneth & Myrtle Howard, a housewife and a member of the Rock Church of Jesus. Along with her parents, Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by 1 son: George Albert Gardner, Jr.; 1 great grandson: Jason Law; 1 sister: Ruth Donaldson and 2 brothers: Kelly & Cecil Howard. Survivors include her husband: Albert Gardner; 1 daughter: Sheryl Slayton; 1 son: Randal Gardner; 6 grandchildren: Kimberly Norton, Shanna Slayton, Randal Law, Johnny Law, Kelly & Rodney Floyd, Ryan & Mary Gardner; 9 great grandchildren: Zackary Brown, Brittany Law, Shawn Mason, Allison Floyd, Harley Law, Katie Floyd, Lanny Slayton, Homer Law & Karlee Norton; 1 sister: Beatrice & Bill Mullins and 1 brother: Phillip & Josephine Howard. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Rock Church of Jesus.

Mrs. Deborah Gearhart

Funeral service for Mrs. Deborah Gearhart, age 49, of Mulberry, TN, who passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mulberry Cemetery. Mrs. Gearhart was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of Vestia Singleton Sumners and the late John Sumners. She was a press operator for Amana and a member of the West End Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband: Gary Gearhart; 2 daughters: Amanda Gearhart, Alisha Gearhart; 1 son: Gary Gearhart II; 1 granddaughter: Serenity Gearhart; mother: Vestia Sumners; 1 sister: Donna Giovinazzo and 1 brother: John Sumners, Jr. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Helen G. Woodruff

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen G. Woodruff, age 96, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Crestwood Hospital, will be conducted Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Woodruff was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Palace Irving & Gertie Lou Poteete Griffin, a housewife and a member of the Fayetteville 1st Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Woodruff was preceded in death by her husband: J.H. Woodruff. Survivors include her daughter: Betty Ward; granddaughter: Karen Crowe; great granddaughter: Allyson Robinson; great-great granddaughter: Rebecca Jane Robinson; sister: Nina Sullenger and brother: Palace Theodore Griffin. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Miles

Dorothy Marie Miles, age 82, died February 17, 2007 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Miles was a lifelong resident of Madison County, AL and was a member of the New Market United Methodist Church, where she served as a former member of the Administrative Board. She also served several years as a substitute teacher for the Madison County Board of Education. Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Miles, father and mother, Oscar and Lela Hudson, and one brother: James W. Hudson. Survivors include 2 daughters: Marena M. McClure and husband: Ronald of Huntsville, AL, Melinda M. McLemore and husband: Ronald of Taft, TN; 3 sons: Carey N. Miles and fiance: Betty of Athens, AL, Donnie L. Miles and Billy O. Miles and wife: Wonda of Huntsville, AL; 6 grandchildren: Lawrence Miles, Shawn Miles, Shannon Miles, Alicia Ford & husband: Brad, Amanda Abernathy & husband: Brandon, Sheena Tucker & husband: B.J.; 3 great grandchildren: Kurtis, Karah & Kalob Ford; 2 sisters: Violet Steakley of Huntsville, AL, Daisy Barnett of Ardmore, TN and 2 brothers: Gordon Hudson & wife: Imogene, Melvin Hudson & wife: Annette both of Hazel Green, AL. Gallant Funeral Home of Fayetteville, TN is in charge of all arrangements with visitation on Monday, February 19, 2007 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. The funeral will be at the New Market United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. J.B. Pendergraft and Pastor Mary Quillin officiating. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Lawrence Miles, Shawn Miles, Shannon Miles; grandsons-in-law: Brad Ford, Brandon Abernathy and B.J. Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters: Alicia Ford with children: Kurtis, Karah & Kalob, Amanda Abernathy and Sheena Tucker.

Mr. Thomas J. 'Red' Eddy

It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Thomas J. Eddy, age 53, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Baptist Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in Frame Cemetery. Mr. Eddy was a native of Arab, AL, son of Cora Lee Eddy and the late T.J. Eddy. He is survived by his mother: Cora Lee Eddy of Fayetteville and 2 sisters: Janice Faye Metcalf and Jo Ellen Doucette. Gallant Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mrs. Martha L. Parkerson Denton

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha L. Parkerson Denton, age 59, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Don Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Denton was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of Annie Ruth Daniel Parkerson and the late Robert Albert Parkerson. She was a commercial driver and a member of the Park City Baptist Church. Along with her father, Mrs. Denton was preceded in death by 1 brother: Thomas Parkerson. Survivors include 1 daughter: Denise Denton of Athens, GA; 2 sons: Thomas & Michelle Parker of Houston, TX, Jack & Donna Parker of Tucson, AZ; 3 grandchildren: Alexei, Danielle & Mallary; mother: Annie Ruth Parkerson of Fayetteville, TN; 3 sisters: Judy & Glen Davis, Jan & Don Bentley all of Fayetteville, TN, Teresa & Steve Smith of Madison, AL; 1 brother: Bob & Dianne Parkerson of Fayetteville, TN and sister-in-law: Peggy Parkerson of Fayetteville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clara Harbin

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Harbin, age 99, of Flintville, TN. who passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Lincoln Skill Care, will be conducted Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Paul Walker and Johnny Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Harbin was a native of Lincoln Co., TN., daughter of William Franklin and Sarah Celina Bradley Mann. She was a homemaker and member of the Flintville Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Harbin and 1 grandson: Darrell Warden. Survivors include 2 daughters: Ann Mearse of Flintville, Doll Roper of Fayetteville; a son: Fred Warden of Jasper, GA.; grandchildren: Randy, Vicky, Tammy, Cody, Dewayne, Jennifer, Angie, and Jolynn; sisters: Eunice Harbin of Fayetteville, Katherine Jordan of Cocomo IN.; a brother: Clayton Mann of Flintville, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Donnie L. Blair

It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Donnie L. Blair, age 57, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Lincoln Medical Center. There will be a private service conducted at a later date. Mr. Blair was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Eugene & Ehtelean Foxx Blair. He is survived by his wife: Charlon W. Blair of Shelbyville, TN; 5 sisters: Jessie Mae Travis of Dayton, OH, Cathy Bonner of Fayetteville, TN, JoAnn Edmiston of Lewisburg, TN, Bobbie Haston, Marie Keith both of Fayetteville, TN and 1 brother: John Robert Benson of Fayetteville, TN. Gallant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
