Diane Wochner
Diane Marie Wochner of Soddy-Daisy died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at her home. She was 44.

She was a native of Lake City, Pa., and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, where she was active with the preschool classes.

She was a volunteer at Allen Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Amelia Bensur.

Survivors include her husband, Mark S. Wochner; two children, Amanda and Erica Wochner; her father, Edward Bensur, Erie, Pa.; three brothers, Dennis Bensur, Girard, Pa., and Michael and Kenneth Bensur, Lake City, Pa.

There will be no visitation or service here.

Memorial contributions may be made to Housecall Hospice, 2115 Chattem Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

Local arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, North.

Marie Worthy
Marie T. Worthy died Monday, March 15, 1999, in a local nursing home. She was 81.

She was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Shuley Worthy.

Survivors include a niece, Diane Parks, Chattanooga; an uncle, Arthur Thomas, Columbus, Ohio; and other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Jacks officiating.

Burial will be in Sheppard Community cemetery.

Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home.

Edelmira Adames
SALE CREEK - Edelmira Adames died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 79.
She was a Catholic.

Survivors include a daughter, Carmon Ramons, Sale Creek; son, Kenny Adames, Lyndhurst, N.J.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. John Millewski officiating.

Burial will be in Hamilton County Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Annette Bonner
Annette Bonner died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at her home. She was 42.

Arrangements will be announced by Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Tom Bowen Lavens 'Tom' Bowen died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in a local health care facility. He was 66.

Arrangements will be announced by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road Chapel.

James Brown
James C. Brown died Thursday, April 8, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 81.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, was retired from the Coca-Cola Co. and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Mae Brown; sister, Lucille Dawson; brother, William Brown, all of Chattanooga.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with brother Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

Lois Brown
Lois E. Nation Brown died Saturday, April 10, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was 90.

A memorial service will be today at 11 a.m. EDT at Grace Chapel Methodist Church in Beersheba Springs, Tenn., with the Rev. Clayton Jones officiating.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.

Lucille Castleberry
Lucille M. Castleberry died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was 80.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, Ga., with the Rev. Taylor Castleberry and the Rev. Gwin Coffey officiating.

Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens.

Caroline Daniker
Caroline Eleanor Daniker of Red Bank died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at her home. She was 64.

A graveside service will be today at 1 p.m. in Chattanooga Memorial Park with the Rev. J.D. Carnes officiating.

Arrangements are by the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Lucille Dossett
Lucille J. Dossett died Friday, April 9, 1999, at a local health care facility. She was 92.

Arrangements will be announced by Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Flora Foster Flora Foster died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 64.

Arrangements will be announced by Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Velma Fricks
Velma Millican Fricks died Sunday, April 11, 1999. She was 91.

Services will be today at 11 a.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. S.S. Gibbens officiating.

Burial will be at Center Point cemetery.

William Frizzell
William Richard 'Billy' Frizzell of Soddy-Daisy died Sundat, April 11, 1999, at his home. He was 36.

Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Evans officiating.

Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Grady Houts
Grady Lee Houts died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at his home. He was 68.

Mr. Houts was a commercial artist with Spectra National.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Marie 'Wanda' Houts.

Survivors include two sons, Gary L. Houts, Chattanooga, and Brady Houts, Rossville; a sister, Eva McGowan, Whitwell, Tenn.; one grandson and one great-grandson.

Services will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East, with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

Marguerite Hudson
Marguerite Hinrichs Hudson died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at her home. She was 95.

She was a member of First Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was a past member of the Kiwanis Ladies Auxiliary.

She was a native of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and had been a resident of Chattanooga since 1942.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Hudson.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth H. 'Betty' Hogan, Chattanooga; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Monday at noon in Mount Olivet cemetery in Nashville, with the Rev. Robert Childress officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 650 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37403.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.

Thomas Knowles
Thomas Knowles Sr. died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at a local hospital.

Oliver Mack
Former Chattanoogan Oliver Mack, retired SSGT from the U.S. Air Force, died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, in Sierra Vista, Ariz.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Mack, Sierra Vista.

A graveside service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Chattanooga National cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 1 to 8 p.m. at Crombie-Pinkard Funeral Service.

Elbert McGregor
Elbert McGregor died Friday, April 9, 1999, at his home. He was 83.

Arrangements will be announced by Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Kerry McKaig
Kerry Lynn McKaig died Saturday, April 10, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 17.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East, with the Rev. John Eldridge and the Rev. Glenn Cavin officiating.

Ed McKeel
The Rev. Charles 'Ed' McKeel died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in a local health care facility.

A graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. in Chattanooga National cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Godgiben officiating.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Rossville.

Clella Moore
Clella G. 'Pat' Moore of Tiftonia died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in a South Pittsburg hospital. She was 78.

She was a Protestant, a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area, and the widow of Terry Moore.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Watts, Chattanooga; three brothers, James, Ray and Charlie Gibson, all of Ellijay, Ga.; six sisters, Marcie Grizzle and Faye Lerch, both of Ellijay, Oneta Tapp, Cumming, Ga., Christine Walker, Chatsworth, Ga., Emily Daniels, Rocky Face, Ga., and Kathleen Weis, Farmingdale, N.Y.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Dodds Avenue Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Cliff Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

The family will receive friends today from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Ella Moore
Ella Mae Moore died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at her home. She was 77.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. William H. Ryan Jr. officiating.

Burial will be at Highland Memorial Garden.

Samuel Moorer
Samuel Moorer Sr. of Chattanooga died Saturday, April 10, 1999, in a Sewanee, Tenn., hospital.
