FLAT ROCK, Ala. - Earl Tullis died Thursday, March 4, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 84.
He was retired from Chattanooga Glass Co., was a farmer and a Baptist.
He was the father of the late Ervalene Tullis.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Tullis; one daughter, Martha Gass, one son, Johnny Wayne Tullis, all of Flat Rock; one sister, Viona Mason, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; one brother, Henry Erskin Tullis, Chattanooga; and four grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. EST at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Ellison and O.A. Bethune officiating.
Burial will be in Deer Heads Cove cemetery.
The family will receive friends today after 1 p.m. EST.
Everett Upton
SWEETWATER, Tenn. - Everett Upton Sr. died Monday, March 1, 1999, at his home. He was 87.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Kyker Funeral Home with the Rev,. Lloyd Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Monroe Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Charles Ed Wilson died Friday, March 5, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 69.
He worked for Bishop Baking Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Anthony; one stepdaughter, Lela Casson; one son, Wayne Wilson; one stepson, Gary Shuler; one sister, Jewell Odom; three brothers, Boyd, Earl and Bedford Wilson, three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Wildwood Chapel of Buckner-Rush Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Gregg officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Hill cemetery.
Visitation will be today and Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

PIKEVILLE, Tenn. - Charles 'Pig' Wyatt died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 47.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. CST at West End Church of God with the Rev. Danny Lee and the Rev. Derek Forgey officiating.
Burial will be in Seals cemetery.

Fletcher Kibler
Fletcher Leon Kibler died Thursday, March 4, 1999, in a local life care facility. He was 94.
He worked for United Hosiery Mill for 22 years, then with Morningside Chemical for 29 years as a partner and owner.
He was a member of the Chattanooga Downtown Rotary Club, Chattanooga Golf and Country Club and First-Centenary United Methodist Church and its Foster Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Leete Parker Kibler.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in Forest Hills cemetery with Dr. Albert J. Bowles officiating.
There will be no visitation at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
James Kitts
James A. Kitts of Harrison died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at his home. He was 70.

Jeremy Ryan Layne of Chattanooga, died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at his home. He was 19.
Formerly of Palmer, Tenn., he was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Chattanooga and was employed by Stowers Machine Corp.
He was the grandson of the late Francis H. and Johnnie Ruth Meeks.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Michael Duncan, Chattanooga; father and stepmother, Jimmy and Cynthia Meeks, Ooltewah, Tenn.; three sisters, Brandy Nance, Jasper, Tenn., and Jayme and Dana Meeks, Ooltewah; grandparents, Alpha Gay and Gene Cleek, and Danny and Janie Layne; great-grandparents, Ernest and Hazel Dishroom, Palmer, Tenn., and Hazel Layne, Dunlap, Tenn.
