March, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN; who passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2008 @ 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Bailey officiating. Mr. March was a native of Lincoln Co, TN, son of the late Robert Howard & Nellie Sue Vance March. He was a brick layer and a member of the Mary's Chapel AME Church. Along with his parents Mr. March was preceded in death by 1 son: Rickie March. Survivors include 4 daughters: Pam Massey of Fayetteville, TN, Wanda Rowe of Winchester, TN, Linda Edmiston & Farley Edmiston both of Fayetteville, TN; 3 sons: Michael March of Fayetteville, TN, Tyrone March of Phoenix City, AL, Joe Kenneth March of Fayetteville, TN; 4 sisters: JoAnn March Kibble, Katie Ford, Geneva Taylor, Dorothy Inman; 1 brother: Thomas Whitaker; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Iva M. Hicks

September 21, 1945 - April 28, 2008

Funeral services for Mrs. Iva M. Hicks, age 62, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Lincoln Skill Care Center, will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Shelton Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Elora Cemetery. Mrs. Hicks was a native of Madison Co, AL, daughter of the late Wesley William & Nannie Lou Edwards Hill, a press operator for the Lee Company and she was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by 1 sister: Annie Bell Campbell. Survivors include her husband: Bobby Wayne Hicks of Fayetteville, TN; 3 daughters: Lerecca Swinford & husband: Tony of Taft, TN, Lori Hicks of Fayetteville, TN, Christy Painter & husband: Tommy of Fayetteville, TN; 7 grandchildren: Courtney Lindsey, Quinn Lindsey, Destiny Hughes, Dewayna Pogue, Kirsten Painter, Kelsi Painter, Tommy Dale Painter; 1 great-grandchild: Kenlee Parks; 2 sisters: Carolyn Jones of Ardmore, TN, Bertha Camp of Elora, TN; 1 brother: Wilburn Hill of Elora, TN; 4 nieces and 8 nephews. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Rev. Albert Beegle

May 27, 1917- April 30, 2008

Funeral services for Rev. Albert O. Beegle, age 90, of Ardmore, AL, who passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at his residence, will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Taft Full Gospel Church with Rev. Harold Boggs and Rev. Glen Floyd officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL. Rev. Beegle was a native of Madison Co., AL, son of the late Frank & Mattie Beegle. He was a carpenter and a minister. He was a member of the Taft Full Gospel Church. Along with his parents, Rev. Beegle was preceded in death by 3 sons: Joe Beegle, Sonny Beegle & Jerry Beegle. Survivors include his wife: Zela Mae Beegle of Ardmore, AL; 2 daughters: Jane Willard & husband: Jess of Thatch, AL, Sherry Cantrell of Bobo, AL; 2 sons: Ernie Beegle & wife: Joyce, Rickey Beegle & wife: Mitzi all of Hazel Green, AL; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Taft Full Gospel Church.

Mr. Dennis B. Shelton

October 16, 1963 - May 4, 2008

Funeral services for Mr. Dennis B. Shelton, age 44, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at his residence, will be conducted Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Mr. Shelton was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Ollie Lee & Sarah Juell Pitts Shelton. He did auto body repair and was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by 1 brother: Gerald Lee Shelton. Survivors include 1 daughter: Kristen Victoria Shelton of Flintville, TN; 2 sisters: Bennie McGee & husband: Roger, Becky Shockley and husband: Ronald all of Fayetteville, TN; 4 brothers: Jackie Shelton & wife: Maxine, Harold Shelton & wife: Kathy all of Flintville, TN, Randall Shelton & wife: Gayle, Mark Shelton & wife: Vonnie all of Fayetteville, TN; 6 nephews, 9 nieces, 5 great nephews, 5 great nieces and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Herbert Bain

May 30, 1942 - May 10, 2008

Graveside funeral service for Mr. Herbert Bain, Jr, age 65 of South Patrick Road, Fayetteville, TN; who passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 in the Huntsville Hospital will be conducted Monday, May 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stateline Cemetery with Rev. David Durham officiating with burial to follow. Mr. Bain was a native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Herbert & Annie B. Davis Bain. He was a Auto Mechanic for several years working for Wright's Garage. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Estelle Durham Bain; one grandson: Ethon Bain. Mr. Bain is survived by his son: Michael Bain and wife: Angie of Fayetteville, TN; a grandson: Keith Bain and wife: Ashley of Kelso, TN; a granddaughter: Emma Bain of Fayetteville, TN & a step-great-grandchild: Greenly Sledge all of Kelso, TN; and a sister: Margie Lewis of Ardmore, AL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family at Gallant Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening May 11, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Virginia Gurley Brazelton

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Gurley Brazelton, age 80, of Gurley, AL; who passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Lincoln Care Center, will be conducted Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Crim officiating. Burial will follow in Madison City Cemetery, Madison, AL. Mrs. Brazelton was a native of Madison Co, AL, daughter of the late Roy & Fannie Lee Clark Gurley, a former school safety patrol for the Huntsville City Police and she retired as a dispatcher for the Madison, AL Police Department. She was a member of the Madison United Methodist Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Brazelton was preceded in death by her husband: John Wilson Brazelton. Survivors include 1 daughter: Lanita Vibbert of Gurley, AL; 2 sons: John R. & Becky Brazelton of Fayetteville, TN, Terry Brazelton of Montevallo, AL; 1 sister: Vaudrey James of Florida; 1 brother: Lloyd Gurley of Gary, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Glenn Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Kerbo was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late George & Aletha Largen Kerbo, a custodian for the school system and a member of the Vanntown Church of Jesus. Along with her parents, Mrs. Kerbo was preceded in death by her sister: Lucille Tucker and 2 brothers: Melvin & Lawrence Kerbo. Survivors include her son: Mike Holt of Flintville, TN; 2 grandchildren: Brandi Potter & husband: Wallace, Rachel Moon; 3 great grandchildren: J.R. Potter, Tony Potter & Zachary Potter; 1 sister: Virginia Bradford of Fayetteville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Terry Franklin Tucker

June 19, 1949 - May 14, 2008

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Franklin Tucker, age 58, of Pendergrass Road, Flintville, TN; who passed away Wednesday morning in the Huntsville Hospital will be conducted on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Flintville Cemetery. Mr. Tucker was a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee; he was the son of the late Willard & Doris Laten Tucker. He was a Cattle Farmer and Race Car Enthusiast. He raced at Winchester and Duck River raceways. He was preceded in death by a brother: Boo Williams. He is survived by is wife: Kathy Marty Tucker of Flintville, TN; 2 sons: Jimmy Tucker & wife: Monica of Flintville, TN, and Timmy Tucker of Flintville, TN; 4 sisters: Diana Roland & husband: Marvin of Lynchburg, TN, Vicki Marshall & husband: Jimmy of Fayetteville, TN, Phyllis Gentry & husband: Terry of the Boonshill Community, Sheree Hill & husband: Floyd of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother: Jack Williams & wife: Lisa of Fayetteville, TN; 2 grandsons: Chase & Joey Tucker. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday evening, May 15 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. Mrs. Swinford was a native of Kelso, TN, daughter of late Charlie & Nancy Whitworth Bradford, a bus driver for the Lincoln County Board of Education and a member of the Stewarts Chapel Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Swinford; step-mother: Bessie Bradford; 3 sisters: Ruby Barnett, Mamie Brown, & Susie Nelley; 3 brothers: Dave Bradford, Paul Bradford, & Francis Bradford; 2 great-grandchildren: Nancy Boles, & Ashley Wilkerson and 1 great-great-grandson: Alex Fox. Survivors include 2 daughters: Brynda New & husband: Ben of Woodbridge, VA, Nancy Clevenger & husband: William of Elora, TN; 2 sons: Ray Swinford & wife: Carole of Fayetteville, TN, Floyd Swinford & wife: Mary of Tipp City, OH; 5 sisters: Elizabeth Simmons of Fayetteville, TN, Peggy Mann of Huntland, TN, Linda Reid of New Market, AL, Katherine Patterson of Fayetteville, TN, & Dorothy Soloman of Winchester, TN; 5 brothers: Walter Bradford of Livingston, TN, Charles Bradford, Floyd Edward Bradford both of Fayetteville, TN, Cecil Bradford of Martinsburg, W. VA, and Joe Bradford; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation with family will be Saturday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
