Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Lee Moore, age 82, of Springfield, TN, who passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008, will be conducted on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Stateline Cemetery. Mrs. Moore was a native of Madison County, AL, she was the daughter of the late Pleas and Artie Cothren Jones. She was a Housewife and a member of the Antioch Baptist in Nashville, TN. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Joanne Woodard & 1 son: Ralph Darrell Moore. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband: Forrest (Skip) Moore of Springfield, TN; 3 daughters: Betty Jeannette Phillips of Smyrna, TN, Clorinda Stutts of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Carolyn Moore of Springfield, TN; 4 sons: Roger G. Moore of Manchester, TN, Forrest Moore, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Teddy Moore of Springfield, TN, William (Billy) E. Moore of Whitehouse, TN; 1 sister: Ida Stephens Quick of Huntsville, AL; 2 brothers: Rev. Charles Jones of Huntsville, AL, and Wilbur Jones of Baltimore, MD; 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 23, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Jim McWhirter

November 07, 1913 - June 01, 2008

Funeral services for Mr. Jim McWhirter, age 94, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Sunday, June 01, 2008 at his residence, will be conducted Friday, June 06, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant - Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Monteith & Rev. Michael Hearrell officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Mr. McWhirter was a native of Lincoln Co, TN, son of the late Cliff & Eunice Wicks McWhirter. He was a farmer, a member of the Flintville First Baptist Church and drove a school bus for 25 years for the Lincoln County Board of Education. He is survived by 2 brothers: Lloyd McWhirter of Fayetteville, TN, Floyd McWhirter of St. Louis, MO; 2 nieces: Brenda Bradley of Flintville, TN, Donnie Little of Fayetteville, TN; 2 nephews: Ronny McWhirter of Fayetteville, TN, Greg McWhirter of St. Louis, MO; caregiver and friend: Brenda Hudson of Flintville, TN; a cousin: Tammy Hudson Monteith of Japan. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening, June 06, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant - Riverview Funeral Home.

Mrs. Linda Aileen Bryant

May 10, 1941 - June 05, 2008

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Bryant, age 67, of Coldwater, TN, who passed away Thursday, June 05, 2008 at the Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN will be conducted Saturday, June 07, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Cothren officiating. Burial will follow in the New Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Bryant was a native of New Hope, AL, daughter of Dudley A. Gray & the late Ella Mae Birchfield Gray. She retired from Amana Corp, was a member of the Kelly Creek Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. Along with her mother, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by 1 grandson: Levi Scott Gilliam and 1 sister: Angela Hope Gray. Survivors include her husband of 52 years: James E. Bryant of Coldwater, TN; 3 daughters: Deb Brown & husband: Charlie, Trish Hardiman & husband: Dwayne all of Coldwater, TN, Barbara Turner & husband; Mike of Winchester, TN; father: Dudley A. Gray of Blanche, TN; 1 sister: Linda Gray of Arkansas; 5 brothers: Dudley A. Gray, Jr. & wife: Shneida of Coldwater, TN, James R. Finley of Ohio, Robert Gray & wife: Cindy of Alaska, Douglas Gray & wife: Julie of Mississippi, Howard Gray of Arkansas; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening, June 06, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kelly Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.

Mrs. Olga Soetekouw

November 11, 1926 - June 6, 2008

Olga Sylvia Lazare Soetekouw was born November 11, 1926, in Surabaya, Indonesia. Mrs. Soetekouw passed away at her residence in Fayetteville, TN on June 6, 2008. She was the daughter of d’Artagnan Lazare and Fredrika Christina Harman. Olga Soetekouw is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jacobus Soetekouw, a brother: Huib Lazare, of Australia and three children, Elisabeth Lazare Soetekouw of Lakewoood, CO, Fred Soetekouw & wife: Shirley, Robert Soetekouw & wife: Patricia all of Fayetteville, TN, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: Wally Lazare. A private service will be held at a later date. The family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice. Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home is assisting the Family.

Mrs. Grace W. Campbell

Campbell, age 80, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home, will be conducted Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in Concord Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL with Pastor Johnny Clardy officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Birmingham, AL, daughter of the late William Apple & Martha Gonder Williams. She was a hair stylist in her own shop and a member of the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband: James Herman Campbell. survivors include 1 daughter: Lanita Carter & husband: Steve of New Market, AL; 2 sons: Stanley Campbell & wife: JoAnne of Cornersville, TN, Jimmy Campbell & wife: Terri of Taft, TN; 5 grandchildren: Gary Campbell, Michael Campbell, Vanessa Carter, J.T. Campbell, & Rickey Campbell; 1 sister: Hazel King of Vann Town, TN and 1 brother: T.A. Williams of Hazel Green, AL. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.

Walker, age 83, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN, will be conducted Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Jim Black and Mike George officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Walker was a native of Moore Co., TN, daughter of the late Eules & Myrtle Lee Wagster Warren. She was a housewife, a former seamstress for Serbin and a member of the  Washington Street Church of Christ. Along with her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by 1 brother: Lynn Warren. Survivors include her husband: Lawrence Walker of Fayetteville, TN; 2 sons: Larry Walker & wife: Muriel of Lacey's Spring, AL, Steve Walker & wife: Deborah of Smyrna, TN; 6 grandchildren: Brad Walker, Cynthia Mullins, Doug Walker, Billy Griffin, Charlie Griffin, Jennifer Lewis; 1 sister: Jane Housch of Shelbyville, TN; 1 brother: William Bryant Warren of Waco, TX and 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Betty Jane (Long) Davis

May 28, 1934 - June 14, 2008

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jane (Long) Davis, age 74, of Davis Road Wartrace, TN, who passed away at her residence Saturday, June 14, 2008 will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Vannoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Medium Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was a native of Lincoln County, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Eron and Ruby Fullerton Long. She was a Dispatch Operator for South Central Bell and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tullahoma, TN. She also was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and loved to fish. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Murate Edford Davis. Mrs. Davis is survived by a daughter: Terri Jane Davis & a son: Melvin Edford Davis both of Wartrace, TN; a brother: Marion Long of Columbus, MS; 2 grandchildren: Jeremy & wife: Stephanie and Joshua Davis. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Bradford, age 89, of Lynchburg, TN who passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center will be conducted Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor James Edison & Pastor Jackie Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in the Melson Cemetery. Mrs. Bradford was a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Ellis & Vera Warren. She was a seamstress and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Bradford was preceded in death by her husband: Lonnie A. Bradford. Survivors include 2 daughters: Ola Bell Cleek of Lynchburg, TN, Frances Engle of Pensacola, FL; 1 son: Ray Bradford of Jasper, TN; 1 sister: Frances Taylor of Petersburg, TN; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening, June 17, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.

Billy Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bostick Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Leon & Mary Frances Hopkins Walden and the granddaughter of the late Andrew & Mable Hopkins. She was a Beautician and a member of the Elora Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and grandparents she was preceded in death by a son: Casey Duran Williams and a brother: Larry William Walden. She is survived by her husband: James M. Williams of Elora, TN; 2 sons: Daron Williams & wife: Darlene, Chris Williams & wife: Sandra all of Elora, TN; 1 sister: Janice Leveta Damron of Elora, TN; 2 half-sisters: Teresa Talley of Chattanooga, TN, & Jackie Cantrell of Georgia; 2 aunts: Jean Parks of Taft, TN, Juanita Grissom of Petersburg, TN; and 1 uncle: Luther Hopkins of Taft, TN; 2 grandchildren: Sidney Adam Williams & Britney Renee Williams. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening, June 20, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
