CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Rhonda Jo Gibson died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in a Chattanooga hospital. She was 32.

She was a Baptist.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Milner, Cleveland; her parents, Joe and Geri Howard Stoker, Polk County; her twin sister, Saundra Chadwick, Cleveland; one niece and a nephew.

Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Fort Hill cemetery with the Rev. Paul Miracle officiating.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.

Bonnie Felton
SPRING CITY, Tenn. - Bonnie R. Felton died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at the University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Spring City with the Rev. Steve Pierson officiating.

Hallie James
GRANDVIEW, Tenn. - Hallie P. James died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in a hospital in Crossville, Tenn. She was 73.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home in Spring City.

Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fannie Jones
WHITWELL, Tenn. - Fannie Isabell Hudson Jones of the Cedar Springs community died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. CST at Hooper Funeral Home with Wayne Wills and Tony DeYoung officiating.

Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 4 to 10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frances King
ATHENS, Tenn. - Frances J. King died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 76.

She was a member of A.O.H. Church of God and the widow of Walker King Sr.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois Cobb, Etowah, Tenn., Jane Scruggs and Angela King, both of Athens; two sons, Walter King, Roanoke, Va., and Edgar King, Athens; two brothers, Carey King and Robert Long, both of Athens; one sister, Margaret King, Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with elder Grover Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Hammonds cemetery in Athens.

Visitation will be after noon today at M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ruth Leffew
EVENSVILLE, Tenn. - Ruth D. Leffew died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 73.

She was a member of Smyrna Road Church of the Living God, the widow of Ralph Leffew and the mother of the late Marvin Leffew.

Survivors include her mother, Hazel Dillard; four sons, Jennings and Paul Leffew, both of Grandview, Tenn., Jerry Leffew, Soddy-Daisy, Melvin Leffew, Evensville; three daughters, Emmaline Watson, Spring City, Tenn., Lois Burton, Evensville, Judy Couch, Dayton, Tenn.; sister, Jessie Hale, Dayton; five brothers, James Dillard, Michigan, Edd, Thomas, Stirl and Jan Dillard, all of Dayton; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Smyrna Road Church of the Living God with the Rev. Charles Sneed officiating.

Burial will be in Buttram cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. and all day Friday at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Dayton, Tenn.

Caroline May
RICEVILLE, Tenn. - Caroline J. May died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 58.

She was formerly employed by Golden Gallon in Niota, Tenn., and the K&M; Drive-In in Decatur, Tenn.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church and was the widow of William L. May, and the mother of the late Timothy May.

Survivors include two sons, Keith May, Athens, and William May, Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughters, Kim Thompson, Riceville, and Katrina Guffey; four sisters, Madeline Buzzell, North Freedom, Wis., Victoria Meade and Marian Buchanan, both of Lodi, Wis., and Rosemary Ligneel, Tucumcari, N.J.; eight grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Robertson officiating.

Burial will be in Decatur cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Hoyt McKeehan
ATHENS, Tenn. - Hoyt E. McKeehan died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at his home. He was 83.

Services will be today at 8 p.m. at Jerry Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. William Johnson officiating.

Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in McMinn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Brandy Parker
WHITWELL, Tenn. - Brandy Leanne Parker died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Grandview Medical Center. She was 18.

Arrangements will be announced by Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Whitwell, Tenn.

J.R. Rogers
BIRCHWOOD, Tenn. - J.R. Rogers died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at his home. He was 83.

He was a Baptist and the father of the late Carl Edward Rogers.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Irene Rogers; one son, Donald Rogers, Birchwood; two daughters, Jackie Reeves, LaFayette, Ga., and Grace Clingan, Cleveland, Tenn.; two sisters, Betty Ruth Campbell, Georgetown, Tenn., and Hazel Rogers, Birchwood; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, Cleveland, with the Rev. Taylor Colbaugh officiating.

Burial will follow in McInturf cemetery.

Lennie Walden
ATHENS, Tenn. - Lennie Ellison Walden of Athens, and a former resident of Ten Mile, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in an area health care facility. She was 74.

She was a native and a resident of Meigs County most of her life and had lived in McMinn County for the past six years.

She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church and was the widow of James Richard Walden.

Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Wilson, Decatur; four sons, James and Franklin Walden, both of Athens, and Darrell and Jerry Walden, Ten Mile; two brothers, George and Luke Ellison, Ten Mile; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church .

Burial will be in Ten Mile cemetery.

The body will be at the church today from 1:30 until 2 p.m.

Arrangements are by Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home, Athens.

Cordelia Wells
SWEETWATER, Tenn. - Cordelia Wells died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in an area nursing home. She was 86.

Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Augustus Crawford officiating.

Burial will be in Sweetwater Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are by M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home, Athens, Tenn.

Amber Wright
WHITWELL, Tenn. - Amber Denise Wright, infant daughter of Valerie and Jeremy Wright of St. Mary's, Ga., died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in a hospital there.

Arrangements will be announced by Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Whitwell, Tenn.
