Funeral Services for Cliff Lawson, age 89 of Tullahoma will be conducted at 2:00pm, Friday, August 30 at the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Lawson, Mac Lawson, Steve Holt, Darrell Patterson, Terry Patterson, & Bobby Preston. Visitation with the family will be from 5pm till 9pm, Thursday at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Mr. Lawson died Wednesday at Harton Hospital.
Mr. Lawson was born in Moore County, Tennessee the son of the late James P & Lizzy Russell Lawson. He was retired from the Tullahoma Utility Board where he was the Foreman of the Meter Readers and was a member of the Grundy Street Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Millsaps Lawson, and by a brother, Edward Lawson. His survivors are:

Funeral Services for Mary Madonna Douglass, age 66 of Tullahoma will be conducted at 10:30am, Wednesday, Graveside at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Father John Kirk officiating. Mrs. Douglass died Sunday at Harton Hospital. Visitation with the family will be from 5pm till 7pm, Tuesday at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Mrs. Douglass was born in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of the late Perley Jay Hatheway and Lillian Kazynski Hatheway and was raised in Savanna, Illinois. She graduated from Jane Lamb Nursing School in Clinton, Iowa, and worked as a nurse in Chicago, Illinois; Kinslow AFB; Michigan; Clinton, Iowa; Ft. Bragg, NC; California and for the last 20 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also served for 6 years in the United States Air Force. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sidney Douglass, and by 2 brothers, Dwaine & Leo Hatheway. THE FAMILY REQUESTS DONATIONS TO ST. Memorial Services for Gloria Mae Tuck, age 71 of Tullahoma will be conducted at 1:00pm, Saturday, November 16, from the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehelm cemetery near Hillsboro. Mrs. Tuck died Saturday at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Mrs. Tuck was born in Cannon County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jack and Bertha Thompson Duke. She was a homemaker and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband, Chester H. Burial will follow in the Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Judkins died Thursday at Life Care Center in Tullahoma. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Sullivan died Wednesday at his home in Beersheba Springs following an extended illness. Mr. Sullivan was born in Nashville, Tennessee the son of the late Jerry C. and Minerva Swanson Sullivan. He was retired from the Eaton Corp where he worked as a Machine Operator and was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mr. Sullivan was a Veteran of the US Marine Corp and served in both World War II and Korea. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline English Sullivan who died in 1997, by a son, Horace D. Mr. Hunt was born in Coffee Co., TN and the son of the late Leslie and Cleo Cox Hunt. He was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Southern was born in Franklin County, Tennessee the son of the late Joe Bill Southern and Ruth Ellen Adcock Southern. He was a US Navy Veteran and worked for many years as a Seafood Chef at resturaunts in Florida and Atlanta. Funeral Services for Orvil Lee Moffitt, age 83, of Estill Springs will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, at the First Presbyterian Church in Tullahoma with Rev. Patterson Lyles & Dr. Bill Starnes officiating. Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, at Glenwood cemetery, in Elkton, Ky. Mr. Moffitt died Monday at his residence. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 till 9:00, Wednesday evening at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Mr. Moffitt was born in Davis, OK and is the son of the late V.C. and Arvilla Pomeroy Moffitt. He was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Tullahoma, where he was the chior director from 1972 till 1994, a former professor at Motlow St. Community College where he taught Music and Psychology, and was a past member and President of the Highland Rim Kawanis Club. The family request that memorial donations be made to the Hospice of the Highland Rim or Frist Presbyterian Church in Tullahoma.

Lawrence Austin
Visitation: Sunday, September 1, 2002
Mr. Austin was born in Moore County, Tennessee the son of the late Robert Montgomery Austin and Susie Cates Austin. Mr. Austin was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods where he was an Inspector. He was a member of the Turkey Creek Methodist Church. For those who wish to make memorial donations, the family suggests the Hospice of the Highland Rim, Inc. in Tullahoma.
Funeral Services for Mr. Austin will be conducted at 1:00pm, Monday, September 2, from the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Deramus and Rev. John Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in the Turkey Creek cemetery. Mr. Austin died Saturday afternoon at his home following an extended illness. Visitation with the family will be from 4pm till 9pm, Sunday at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Charles F. Blair, Sr.
Visitation: Saturday, August 3, 2002
Mr. Blair died Thursday, August 1 at Harton Hospital. He was a native of Somerset, Kentucky and was retired from AEDC. Mr. Blair was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma and was preceded in death by his wife, Mozelle Blair who died in 2000. Mr. Blair's body has been cremated and entombment services at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens will be announced at a later date.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lynchburg, a farmer and retired from Jack Daniel Distillery. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Liza Bates.
