Ruby Wilson Foster, 90, of Lake City, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at the Windwood Health Center in Clinton. She was a member of the Main St. Baptist Church in Lake City.
She was preceded in death by husband Hugh D. Foster, Sr.; brothers Clyde H. Wilson, J. Winfrey Wilson; and parents W. J. and Maggie Cooper Wilson.
She is survived by daughter Margaret Stallard of Clinton; son Hugh D. Foster, Jr., of Clinton; brothers Luther C. Wilson and Ben H. Wilson both of Lake City; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 12, in the Cox-Martin Chapel with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Interment
was held in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Gracie F. Brandenburg Gray
Gracie F. Brandenburg Gray, 62, of LaFollette died Friday, April 6, 2001, at her home. She was of the Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by husband Lee Gray; son Alan gray; parents Henry and Bannie Brandenburg; and brother Charles Brandenburg.
She is survived by Don Harolf Bolton of Pioneer; sisters Shirley Hyden of Williamsburg, Ky., Sarah Fishback and Mary Hurt both of Chattanooga, Ruby Faulkner of Dalton, Ga., and Jewell Campbell of Dayton, Ohio; brothers James Brandenburg of LaFollette and Bliss Brandenburg of Chattanooga; and 1 grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Monday at Walters Chapel with Rev. Junior Dilbeck and rev. Junior Dople officiating. Interment
was held in the Hall Cemetery.

Thelma Hayre
Thelma Hayre, 68, of Kettering died Saturday, April 7, 2001. She was born in Jellico and worked for General Motors until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by husband Clarice; son Randy Ayers of Kettering; sisters Carrie Rutherford of LaFollette, Shirley Titus of Baltimore, Md., Betty Coons of Ashville, N.C., and Annie Marie Roberts (John) of Pikeville, Tenn.; and 2 step-children.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Routsong Funeral Home, with Rev. William Zimmann officiating. Interment
was held in the Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.

Gladys Fay Loy
Gladys Fay Loy, 93, of LaFollette, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was retired from Southeastern Shirt Company.
She was preceded in death by husband Horace Loy; parents Henry and Millie Brown; brothers Charlie and Hobart Brown; sisters Bessie Roderick, Goldie Brown, Maude Moody, Grace Cooper, Ethel Oakes, and Carrie Rawling.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, at Walters Chapel with Rev. bill Asbury officiating. Interment
was held in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Ruth Allen Moncarr
Ruth Allen Moncarr, 77, of Boise, died Wednesday, march 21, 2001, in a Boise care center of natural causes. Ruth was in the U.S. Navy.
She was preceded in death by parents , brothers, sisters, and husband Roy L. Brewer and James Moncarr.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel with Rev. Darrell Beddoe. Interment
was held in the Dry Creek Cemetery.
David H. Rogers
David H. Rogers, 64, of Rogers Rd. in Speedwell, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member of the Speedwell Cawood United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents Robert L. and Anna Iuez Dunn Rogers; brother Boyd Rogers; and son David Harold.
He is survived by Wilma Rogers; son Steven B. Rogers of LaFollette; daughter Melissa Dawn Rogers of Speedwell; brothers Hoyle D. Rogers of Speedwell and William B. Rogers of Mew Market; sister Lois Russell of Speedwell; and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 7, at the Cawood United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Hill and Rev. J. C. Monday officiating. Interment
was held in the Beeler Cemetery.

Robert Louis Rogers, 54, of Detroit, Mich, died Friday, March 30, 2001, in Detroit. He was of the Baptist faith. Robert was employed by Monument Center of Ferndale, Mich.
He was preceded in death by grandparents and uncle.
He is survived by parents R. L. and Mable Rogers of LaFollette; sisters Mary Linda Miller and Shelia Faye Kramer of LaFollette; brothers Lee Roy, Curtis and Michael Rogers of Ferndale, Mich.; and 1 grandmother.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 5, in the chapel on Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Ellison and Brother Ed King officiating. Interment
was held in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Henry M. Sowder
Henry M. Sowder, 74, of Speedwell, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Ford Motor Company and Imperial Rading Corporation. He was a member of the Powell Valley Church of Christ.
He is survived by wife Della Sowder of Speedwell; sons Donald Sowder of Spartanburg, S.C. and Bill Sowder of Speedwell; brothers Fred and Bill Sowder both of Cincinnati, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday at Walters Chapel with Rev. Donald Proffitt, Rev. Eric Bonner, and Rev. Randy Tingle officiating. Interment
was held in the Bolinger Cemetery.
