Loise Jane Brummett
Loise Jane Brummett, 75, of Jellico, died on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home.
She is survived by husband Albert Brummett of Jellico; two sons Eddie Wayne Brummett of Whitley County, Ky., Joel Brummett of Jellico; three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Jan. 29 in the Chapel of Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Hoskins officiating. Interment icon was in the Jellico Cemetery.
Harp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie Alex Bullock Jr.
Charlie Alex Bullock Jr., 88, of Fratersville Community, died on Monday, Jan. 28, 2002 at his residence. He was a member of the Fratersville Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the UMWA.
He was preceded in death by parents Charles Alex Sr., and Martha Belle Wiggins Bullock; son Roger Bullock and granddaughter Tracy Collins.
He is survived by wife Mary Helen Bullock of Lake City, Billy Bullock of Lake City, Tony Bullock of Lake City, Jimmy Bullock of Lake City, Jerry Bullock of Briceville and Andy Bullock of Lake of Clinton; daughters Reba Collins of Burleson,  Texas, Betty Ecord and Alvarado,  Texas, Gail Harris of Lake City, Pat Gambrell of Cleburne,  Texas, Margie Leach of Lake City and Kathy Graham of Lake City and Kathy Graham of Lake City and 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 30 in the Cox and Martin Chapel with Rev. Bill Thomas and Rev. Marty Stooksbury officiating. Interment icon was in the Oak Grove Cemetery of Lake City.
Cox-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

W.A.W (Allen) Carden
W.A.W. (Allen) Carden, 79, of Jacksboro, died on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member of the LaFollette First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents Wheeler and Theresa (Baird) Carden; wife Nellie Carden and sister Linda Lindsay Boone.
He is survived by serveral aunt, niece and nephew.
Funeral services were Saturday at Walters Chapel with Rev. William Lane Harris officiating. Interment icon was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Claiborne
Beatrice Claiborne, 84, of LaFollette, died on Monday, Jan. 28, 2002 at Lake City Health Care Center. She was a member of West LaFollette Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Charlie Claiborne; parents James R. and Nellie Baird Perkins.
She is survived by serveral nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Jan. 30 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Cordell officiating. Interment icon was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ivan Howard
Ivan Howard, 77, of Chestnut Ridge, died on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002 at his home. He was a member of Pleasant Green Church of the Nazarene and a veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Pamela Dean; parents Robert and Dora Howard; brother Willis Edison and Leroy.
He is survived by his wife Faye (Adams) Howard; sons Darrel Howard of Kingston, Ricky Sunbright and Robin Howard of Grimsley; daughter Sheils MaChart of Anamosia, Iowa, Sharon Ashbrook of Harriman and Kay Branstetter of Deer Lodge and Janet Atkinson of Caryville; brothers Elmer and Harold, all of Deer Lodge; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister Bertie Adams.
Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 31 at Schubert Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Selby and Rev. Allen Straw officiating. Interment icon was in the Adam's Hill Cemetery.
Schubert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

James E. (Red) Irvin
James E. (Red) Irvin, 79, of Duff, died on Monday, Jan. 28, 2002 at LaFollette Nursing Home. He retired from Chrysler for 33 years, and was a veteran of WWII and was a member of Duff Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents C.A. and Onia Irwin; sister Dorothy Flowers and brother Clifford and Augdon Irwin.
He is survived by sisters Bobbie Irwin and Ruth Irwin, both of Duff, Nancy Russell of Flat Rock, Michigan; brothers Ernest and Carl Irwin, both of Duff and Jack Irwin of Barbourville, Ky.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Walters Chapel with Rev. Wade Walls, Rev. Leonard Dabney and Rev. Don Allen officiating. Interment icon was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Margaret Louise Long
Margaret Louise Long, 60, of LaFollette, died on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002 at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents James and Dorothy Wilder.
He is survived by husband Charles H. Long of LaFollette; sons Ricky C. Long of LaFollette and Audie T. Long of LaFollette; brother James N. Wilder II of Rogerville, Tenn., and Jerry Wilder of Tazewell; sister Anna Jane Helton of Rogerville, Tenn., Jean Wilder of Kingsport, Betty Jo Ellison of Tazewell, Joyce Wilder of Rogerville and Gwendolyn Long of Johnson City.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 25 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Orick officiating. Interment icon was in the Sunrise Cemetery.
