Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Waymon Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Zion cemetery in Elbridge. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Lee Roy Twilla, 81, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a carpenter and a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with Dustin Forthum officiating. There will be congregational singing. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Lucy Juanita Gordon, 69, of Union City, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. She was a retired food-service employee with Baptist Memorial Hospital and was a member of Union City Second Baptist Church. Services were at 10 a.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home in Union City with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial will be in East View cemetery.

Peggy Riggs, 56, of Dyersburg, died Sunday at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a special education assistant and a member of Sorrell's Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Women's organization. Services are at 10 a.m. .

Larry Joe Ray (05/27/03)
Larry Joe Ray, 47, of Dyersburg, died Sunday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was owner of Klassic Auto Body Repair and a member of Hawthorne Baptist Church, where he was music director. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Greenley and the Rev. Paul Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lilliam Forster, of Dyersburg, passed away Saturday morning at Dyersburg Manor. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Joan B. Webb, 65, of Trimble, died Friday, May 23, 2003 at her residence. She was a retired factory employee of the Trimble Manufacturing Company. Services are today at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at the New Salem cemetery in Mason Hall.

Margaret Ryland, 95, of Dyersburg, died Friday, May 23, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church. She was also an avid fisherman and a former leader in Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the graveside. Burial will be at Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Curry Funeral Home.

Everlena Halliburton, 86, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Dyersburg Regional Hospital. She was a nurse's aide. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Thompson's Mortuary in Ripley with the Rev. J.L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Everlasting Life in Covington. The family will receive visitors Thursday at noon-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
