He was a retired employee of Friendship Funeral Home and a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he served as a former deacon and on the building committee. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in Friendship cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jordan Dale Hammock, 3, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W. Va. He was a member of Mead Station Church of God. Private services were held June 27. Caniff Funeral Home in Ashland, Ky., was in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother Martin Lemon officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4:30-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Curry & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden. Burial will be in Palmersville cemetery in Palmersville.

Nancy Louise Timmerman, 69, of Dyersburg, died Friday, July 4, 2003, at her home. She had retired as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney's and was a collector and builder of miniature dollhouses and shadow boxes. Services are at 3 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home with her husband, Donald Timmerman, officiating. The family will receive visitors at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Frances Thomas, 84, of Dyersburg, died July 1, 2003, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. W.L. McCadney officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the church. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

She was a retired teacher of 40 years, she served as an elementary principal in Dyer County and taught commercial and business subjects in Bells, Maury City, Friendship High School, Dyersburg High School and Newbern Vocational School, worked in the Democratic State Headquarters in Nashville on two occasions and was honored by Vanderbilt University, she was a member of Friendship Book Club and Bridge Club and the Church of Christ.. .
