Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

John Leonard "PaPa" Baker, 83, of Trimble, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003 at Jackson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired mechanic and school bus driver for Dyer County Schools. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Jowers officiating. Burial will be in Pierce cemetery in Trimble.

Lorene P. Reaves, 96, of Bristol, formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Cambridge House Nursing Home in Bristol. She was a homemaker and a member of Sorrell's Chapel United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg with Brother Walt Asher officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Lindsey, Aaron Staulcup and Mayor Bill Revell officiating. Burial will be in East View cemetery in Union City.

Henry F.N. Holland Sr., 79, of Ridgely, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Ridgely Care and Rehab. He was a retired postmaster with 30 years of service and a retired employee of Curry Funeral Home. He served in many capacities in his church and community. .

Anna Ruth Dunivant Burg (09/05/03)
Anna Ruth Dunivant Burg, formerly of Dyersburg, died Aug. 26 in Thousand Palms, Calif. She was a 1943 graduate of Dyersburg High School. Survivors include two daughters, Patty Montanez and Pam Stading; a son, Kenneth Burg; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, all of California. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph Dunivant, Thomas Dunivant, Billy Dunivant and David Dunivant.

He was a retired minister and employee of Boyd Needle of Chicago, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, 32nd degree Mason and Shriner, raised as a Master Mason at the Paul Revere Lodge in Chicago where he advanced to 32 degree Masonic Scottish Rite and rose to become a Shriner at the Al Chymia Temple in Memphis.
