He was a retired materials superintendent for Ford Construction and a member and trustee of Friendship United Methodist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevernon cemetery.

Nell Haire Beard, 73, of Collierville, formerly of Dyer County, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Vicksburg, Miss. A memorial graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Yorkville cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn Rosenbloom (12/11/03)
Carolyn Rosenbloom, 90, of Memphis, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003 at Baptist Hospital-East in Memphis. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Curry Funeral Home.

Iva Dell Trimble (12/11/03)
Iva Dell Trimble, 84, of Yorkville, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Services were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Carey Womack officiating. Burial was in Yorkville cemetery.

Grace S. Pugliese, 93, of Obion (Cloverdale Community), died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003 at her residence. She was a comptometer operator with The Department of Navy for 31 years and a member of New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. John Fields officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National cemetery in Arlington, Va.

Deborah 'Debbie' Ballinger Gordon (12/11/03)
Deborah "Debbie" Ballinger Gordon, 46, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown. She was employed with Genlyte-Thomas Industries and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother Leonard Ballinger Jr., Jeremy Ballinger and Jeff Gordon officiating. Burial will be in New Haven cemetery in Ridgely.

Rosie May McCaig, 73, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home elder Johnny Harris officiating. Burial will be in Palestine cemetery in the Bruceville Community.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Jack Rogers officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn Crawford Rosenbloom, 90, homemaker and widow of Milton J. Rosenbloom, died Wednesday night at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Curry Funeral Home with Dr. Phillip Cook and the Rev. Wade Cox officiating. Burial will be in Jackson, Tenn.

W.T. Osborne (12/15/03)
W.T. Osborne, 85, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003 at his home. He was a retired insurance agent for American General Life Insurance Co., a former greeter for Wal-Mart, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Dyersburg First Baptist Church. Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home in Newbern with the Rev. David Willard officiating. Burial will be in Sanders Chapel cemetery in Obion County.

Mattie Neal, 87, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a domestic worker and served on the Mother Board at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Services are at noon Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dyersburg with the Rev. Louis Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery in Dyersburg. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home in Dyersburg is in charge of arrangements.

He was a retired day care owner and retired salesman, a Methodist and a Navy veteran of World War II. Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg with the Rev. Tom Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg.

She was a retired grocery clerk and a member of a member of Lakeview Baptist Church for more than 44 years. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. Houston Northcutt and the Rev. Ernest Mayo officiating. Burial was in New Haven cemetery in Ridgely. Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg was in charge of arrangements.

Carl Leroy Burden, 59, of Trenton, formerly of Obion County, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at his home. He was a self-employed heavy-equipment operator and a member of Doris Chapel Church of Christ. He was born March 6, 1944 in Missouri. Services are at 2 p.m. today at White and Mahon Funeral Home in Troy with Tim Fuqua officiating. Burial will be in Antioch cemetery in Hornbeak.
