She was a retired bookkeeper with Moore Auto Sales and Moody Wadley and a member of East Dyersburg United Methodist Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Wallace Stanley (03/25/04)
Wallace Stanley, 78, of Ripley, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley. He was a retired from the military, serving in the U.S. Marines for 28 years. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a Purple Heart recipient and also received the National Defense Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was president of the Brownsville District of the United Methodist Church and a lay leader in Brownsville and Dyersburg.

Juanita Baker, 78, of Lansing, Mich., formerly of Ridgely, died Monday, March 22, 2004 in Lansing. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Home-Lansing Chapel with Steve Aikin officiating. Burial was in Deepdale Memorial Garden cemetery.

Bessie V. Weaver, 86, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at West Tennessee Transitional Care in Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Tillery officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Friendship.

Frances Anderson, 68, of Alamo, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at Maplewood Manor in Jackson. She was a homemaker. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Midgett Chapel United Methodist Church in Alamo. Burial will be in Harris Grove cemetery in Alamo. Currie's Funeral Home in Henning is in charge of arrangements.

Aldon E. Lowe, 83, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at Wesley of Dyersburg Nursing Center. He was retired from the molding department of Colonial Rubber, a World War II veteran and a Baptist. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Koonce officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Robert Hardy Marvin, 47, of Bogota, died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a carpenter and an avid hunter and fisherman. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church near Elbridge with Bro. Jeff O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in New Haven cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eleanor Lorena Parker, 92, of Memphis, formerly of Dyersburg, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Kirby Pines in Memphis. She was a retired registered nurse with the VA Hospital and a member of First Methodist Church in Memphis. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Bellevernon cemetery with the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating.

Texana 'Nan' Rutledge (03/30/04)
Texana "Nan" Rutledge of Dyersburg died on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at her residence. She was an active member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church and sang in the senior choir. Funeral services will take place at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church on Monday at noon with burial to follow in Memorial Park cemetery in Dyersburg. The Rev. W.L. McCadney will officiate. Cosmopolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Boston officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Chad S. Clark, 30, of Murray, Ky., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. He was an employee of Pella Corp. of Murray, a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Paris, E4 specialist with the Tennessee National Guard and had completed a tour of duty in Iraq in July 2003.

He was a former employee of British Petroleum, a graduate of Newbern High School and Memphis State University and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rehoboth United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rehoboth cemetery in RoEllen. Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton, Ky. is in charge of arrangements.
