Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Eastside cemetery in Martin with Brother Charlie Halliburton and Brother Johnny Hazelwood officiating.

Lilly Lucille Branscum Dunigan, 74, of Newbern, died Sunday, May 2, 2004 at her daughter's residence in Newbern. She was a homemaker. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William T. Jowers officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Newbern.

Marvin Lee Simpson, 65, of Mason Hall died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his residence. He was a retired factory employee. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of the Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Kinsey officiating. Burial will in Rutherford cemetery.

Porter Eugene "Gene" Tucker, 72, of Newbern, died Sunday, May 2, 2004 at his residence. He was a retired maintenance employee of Dana Corporation and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Addie White, 91 of Dyersburg died Friday, April 30, 2004 at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was most recently a member of the Three Oaks Baptist Church in Dyersburg but had previously been a member of the Newbern Assembly of God Church for over 30 years.

Michael Weatherly, 51, of Villa Rica, Ga., formerly of Newbern, died Sunday, May 2, 2004 in Villa Rica. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Johnson Funeral Home.

Rebecca Dodson, 76, of Trimble, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a retired factory employee and a member of Trimble First Assembly of God. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trimble First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. E.C. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Mason Hall cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robin Cheryl Hammond, 48, of Newbern, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at her residence. She was a traffic coordinator for PolyOne, an artist and avid golfer, attended Tucker Street Church and was a member of Modern Woodmen. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Johnson Funeral Home of Newbern and H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville are in charge of arrangements.

Paul Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Newbern.

He was a retired teacher after 53 years at the Webb School for Boys in Bell Buckle, Tenn. and Claremont, Calif., graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, received his master's degree from Vanderbilt University where he graduated summa cum laude, was a Navy veteran of World War II and received the Life Achievement Award of 2003 by the Webb School in Tennessee.

Services were Saturday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Newbern with the Rev. Carey Womack officiating. Burial was in Yorkville cemetery. A memorial service will be held Saturday at St. Peter's Chapel in Memphis.

George Harmon Tyler, 79, of Obion, died Sunday, May 9, 2004 at his residence. He was Navy veteran of 22 years, a technical research writer and a former employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion with Ray Jenkins and Ron Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Elbridge cemetery with military honors.
