Mary Louise McCormack Trimmer, 84, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 at her residence. She was a homemaker and Pentecostal. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Miller and the Rev. Bobby Chandler officiating. Burial was in Nebo cemetery near Lexington.

Geneva Sue Ragsdale (12/13/04)
Geneva Sue Ragsdale, 76, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. Services were held at Bartlett Funeral Home. Burial was in Forrest Hills East cemetery in Memphis.

Charles LeRoy Wilson, 75, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. He was a retired farmer and Wal-Mart employee and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Loyal Order of Moose. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg with Dr. Larry Blakeburn officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Olive Audelle Cole, 85, of Sheffield, Ala., formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004. She was a member of Florence First Assembly of God Church. Services are at 11 a.m. today at Florence Assembly of God Church with Darrin English and Anthony Martin officiating. Burial will be at noon Wednesday at Zion cemetery in Cloverdale with Greg Woodall officiating. Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia, Ala. is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Lee Foster, 89, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center. She was a farmer. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Sorrell's Chapel cemetery.

Inez Hooper Gibson, 86, of Lawrenceville, Ga., formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004 at New London Healthcare in Lawrenceville, Ga. She was a former child-care employee and a member of Cornerstone Church of God. Services were at 10:30 a.m. today in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Lindsey officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.

Julia Maqruder Whitson, 96, of Madrid Bend, Ky., formerly of Tiptonville, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 at her daughter's residence in Nashville. She was a landowner, merchant and cattle rancher, a member of Tiptonville First United Methodist Church, former sheriff of the election for Fulton County, Ky., former member of Fulton County Levee Board and former member of Fulton County Historical Society.

Neva Edna Harrison, 83, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at NHC Health Care in Oak Ridge. She was a retired lab technician at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lillie Mae Maclin (12/15/04)
Lillie Mae Maclin, 80, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall with Brother Charles Carter Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bennie Smith, 69, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2004 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a commercial fisherman, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a Baptist. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Tiptonville chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Houston Northcutt officiating. Burial will be in Antioch cemetery in Hornbeak.

Peggy Bessent Flowers, 74, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004 at her residence. She was a retired nurse and a member of East Dyersburg Methodist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother John Morris officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller's Chapel Church of Christ. Burial will be in Miller's Chapel cemetery.

Ira E. Bishop, 92, of Alexandria, La., died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 at Regency House. He was a retired Air Force major, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He served in the Army, the Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force for 30 years. He was a member of Retired Officers Association and the American Legion and a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
