Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg. Forest Hill-East Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Deborah Cole, 55, of Obion, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at her residence. She was a homemaker. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mattie Lu George (02/14/05)
Mattie Lu George, 102, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005 at Ridgely Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Ballinger officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.

Billy Allen 'B.A.' Myers (02/14/05)
Billy Allen "B.A." Myers, 48, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a self-employed construction worker. Services were in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Westbrook and Brother John Stacy officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery in Dyersburg.

Jewell L. McCurdy (02/14/05)
Jewell L. McCurdy, 79, of Elbridge, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at Baptist Hospital in Union City. She was a housewife. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Ridgely chapel of Curry Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Haven cemetery in Ridgely. Bro. R.C. Perkins will officiate.

Thomas McQuarters (02/14/05)
Thomas McQuarters, 54, of Halls died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Baptist Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley. He was a self-employed truck driver who served as a former member of the National Guard Dyersburg Unit No. 269 and was a member of the Dyersburg Police force from 1987 to 1995.

Lois Autry, 77, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center. She was a retired employee of Colonial Rubber. Services were Monday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Lovins officiating. Burial will be Fairview cemetery.

Mills H. Ditto Jr., 64, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a car salesman. Graveside services were Monday at Robertson cemetery near Alamo. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Holice O. Gilliland Sr., 85, of Halls, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He was a retired merchant and electrician, a World War II veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, a Mason of York Rites, a member of VFW, American Legion (Halls Post), First United Methodist Church, and taught refrigeration at Veterans Vocational School in Newbern.

Maysel Ethelene Greer (02/16/05)
Maysel Ethelene Greer, 96, of Hermitage, formerly of Ridgely, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Trevecca Healthcare in Nashville. She was a homemaker. Services were Monday at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely with the Rev. Jonathan Lail officiating. Burial will be in New Haven cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Bishop Johnson, 91, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg and the Republican Party of Tennessee. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Boston officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery with a private committal service.

Burial will be in Westview cemetery. Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City is in charge of arrangements.

Marvin Meredith Cook, 78, of Dyersburg, died today at Tennessee Veterans Home in Humboldt. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dyersburg Funeral Home.

He was a retired sign painter for Coca Cola Bottling Company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Services were Tuesday at Halls Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Beatrice Darnell Fields, 89, of Dyersburg, formerly of Kingsport and Murfreesboro, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park Funeral Home in Kingsport. Burial will be in Oak Hill Memorial Park cemetery.

J.T. McGaugh, 86, of Warren, Mich., formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 at Ferguson Nursing Home in Lapeer, Mich. He was retired employee of Lumber of Madison Heights in Michigan, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran in the South Pacific and was an avid fisherman.

Marvin Meredith Cook, 78, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt. He was a retired employee of Colonial Rubber and former owner/manager of Cook's Big Star, a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg where he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher, former manager of several Kroger stores and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mary Louise Pitts, 92, of Friendship, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon cemetery.

Ruby Weedman Pride, 82, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was retired from Sylvania and attended Finley Pentecostal Church. Services were Saturday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Ellingsworth and the Rev. L.H. Hardwick Jr. officiating.
