John W. Adkins, 67, of Rutherford, formerly of Dyer County, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Gibson County General Hospital in Trenton. He was a retired Goodyear employee and a U.S. Army veteran. Services were Saturday at Everlasting Church of God in Newbern with the Rev. Randy Jetton officiating. Burial will be in Rutherford cemetery.

Letha Ann Finley (03/28/05)
Letha Ann Finley, 59, of Yorkville, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was an employee of Eaton Corporation for 26 years and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yorkville, where she was a choir member and Sunday school teacher for many years.

Donnie R. Hall, 68, of Ridgely, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Ridgely Care & Rehab. He was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics and attended Calvary Chapel. Graveside services were Saturday in Neely's Chapel cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Ballinger officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Faye Bevis, 57, of Dyersburg died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Graveside services are scheduled at Fairview cemetery on Monday at 2 p.m. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. on Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Crawford will officiate.

Shelia McGuire Dalton, 50, of Newbern, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Nathe Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Myra McCain Pryor, 67, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a retired employee of the telephone company for 30 years, a union member, served as president of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a counselor at Camp Bluebird, a member of Humane Society, Democrat Party and of Troy United Methodist Church.

Minnie Lou Maclin Scobey, 61, of Newbern died Friday, March 25, 2005 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. She was a homemaker, attended the Palestine Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Dyer County High School Band Boosters. Services were Monday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Bro. William Edward Parnell and Dr. Thomas Parnell officiating. Burial will in Fairview cemetery of Newbern.

Era Wilson, 87, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center. She was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics and a member of First United Pentecostal Church. Services were Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Jaco officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in New Haven cemetery in Ridgely with the Rev. James Branscum officiating.

Burial will be in Antioch cemetery near Halls.
