Ora Nell Foster Hutsell
Ora Nell Foster Hutsell, 88, of Athens, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Brookewood Nursing Home in Decatur.
A native and resident of McMinn County for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Maggie Mintz Davis, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Foster; her former husband, John Bayless Hutsell; one son, Charles Edwin Foster; one daughter-in-law, Bobbie Sue Foster; one brother, Olen B. Davis; and one sister, Mary Alice Houston. She was a member of Tranquility United Methodist Church and was a Sunday school teacher there for 30 years, and also at Sewee Church of God for many years. She was a Layleader of Tranquility United Methodist Church and was a former V-President of the McMinn County United Methodist Women. She was a former member of the Tranquility Home Demonstration Club, was a teacherīs aide at E.K. Baker School, worked with the Election Commission as a demonstration clerk and worked for Easter Seals and March of Dimes.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Gail Murphy of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kenneth Alvin and Jimmie Foster of Goldsboro, N.C., and Bobby Joe Foster of Cleveland; one sister, Geneva Oliver of Banner Elk, N.C.; one brother, Robert Lee Davis of Georgetown, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home of Athens.

Youell J. Dalton
Youell J. Dalton, 71, of Delano, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Woods Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Earl and the Rev. Richard Chastain officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 19th at Green Hill cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Linda McAllister White
Linda McAllister White, 61, of Etowah, died Sunday, March 14, 2004 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at Green Hill cemetery with Layspeaker Dennis Bordwine officiating. The service will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Bordwine Funeral Home.The Celebration of Life video will follow the visitation at 8 p.m.

Kenneth Lee Kyle, 81, of Englewood, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at the Life Care Center of Athens. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Sunrise cemetery in Englewood. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at Bordwine Funeral Home.

Bobbie Gibson Belk
Bobbie Gibson Belk, 71, of Etowah, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Woods Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Green Hill cemetery with Dr. Jimmy McCarter officiating. No formal visitation was held.

Ida Mae Torbett
Ida Mae Torbett, 95, of Englewood, died early Thursday morning, June 3, 2004 at Etowah Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Brother Will Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Sunrise cemetery at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 6, 2004 for the committal service, which will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.

John D. "Wimp" Payne
John D. "Wimp" Payne, 71, of Benton, died early Thursday morning, June 3, 2004, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2004 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. John Tullock officiating and will conclude with the Celebration of Life Video. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, and proceed to Green Hill cemetery for the 10 a.m. committal service, which will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.

Brett David Rowe, 25, of Etowah, died Friday, June 11, 2004, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 14, 2004 at Conasauga cemetery with the Rev. Van Elkins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Bordwine Funeral Home.

Helen Ruth Coffee Coe Slack
Helen Ruth Coffee Coe Slack, 80, of Riceville, died Thursday morning, June 10, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2004 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Redman officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship cemetery in Polk County.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday evening at the funeral home.

Berta Lee McKinney, 95, of Etowah, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home in Etowah. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, June 24, 2004, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Jack Scallions officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at McMinn Memory Gardens at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25th, for the burial service.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Pat Wilson and Minister Mike Williams officiating and will conclude with the Celebration of Life video. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24th and proceed to the Liberty Hill Church of Christ cemetery for the 3 p.m. committal service which will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.

Lucile Rogers Masengil, 48, of Englewood, died early Saturday morning, July 31, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2004, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hubble and the Rev. Bill Childress officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Cochran cemetery at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2004 for the committal service which will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Project ALS, 511 Avenue of the Americas, PMB #341, New York, NY 10001.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2004, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Carlos Peterson presiding. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home at 8 a.m., Monday, August 2, 2004, and proceed to New Zion cemetery for the 9 a.m. committal service, which will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.

Raymond J. Waldrop, 46, of Etowah, died Sunday, August 22, 2004, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2004 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Speaker Don Peterson officiating.
There will be no formal visitation.

Paula K. Frazier, 76, of Etowah, died Monday, August 23, 2004, at Woods Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at Green Hill cemetery with Rev. Ron Allen officiating, and will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.
There will be no formal visitation.

Edna E. Cockrell
Edna E. Cockrell, 79, of Etowah, TN, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2004 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Gerald Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004 and proceed to Green Hill cemetery for the 10 a.m. committal service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the McMinn Area Cancer Relief Fund, PO Box 352, Athens, TN 37371-0352.
