He is survived by his wife, Erma Lee Woodard of Russellville, Ky.; sons, Ricky W. (Judy) Woodard of Westmoreland, Larry (Josie) Woodard of Lexington, Ky.; daughters, Joyce (Bill) Smith of Gallatin, Linda (Calvin) Collins of Gallatin, Doris (Ed) Smith of Bethpage, Janice Stinson of Lebanon, Karen (Chubby) Simons of Westmoreland; step-sons, Alton (Jill) Knight of Hendersonville, Troy (Dorian) Knight of Florence, S.C., Gordon (Jamie) Knight of Carthage, Tenn.; brothers, C.C. (Bonnie) Woodard of Bethpage, Charles (Ruth) Woodard of Westmoreland, Glenn (Geraldine) Woodard of Apopka, Fla.; 21 grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil C. Woodard; mother, Nirma Dickens Woodard; first wife, Nellie Ogeal Smallwood Woodard; son, Hugh E. “Buddy” Woodard, Jr.; sister, Alberta Griffin; granddaughter, Holly Fran Woodard. Visitation will be 12 noon until 9 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2007, 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday, and 10 a.m., until service time on Wednesday. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2007, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Randell Belcher and Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Interment icon will be in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: All of the grandsons. Eld. Woodard was a Missionary Baptist Minister for over 50 years. He retired from Yellow Freight Lines.

Wanda Lee Ziegler, age 77, of Westmoreland, passed away at her residence on January 26, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ellen Woodard of Westmoreland; grandchildren, Phillip Woodard of Westmoreland, Kevin Woodard of Westmoreland, Karay Woodard of Westmoreland; great-grandchildren, Kailan Woodard and Landon Woodard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Elmo Sutton & Pauline Bundy Sutton; and one daughter, Sue Ward. Graveside services for Mrs. Ziegler will be at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at Pleasant Grove cemetery, Westmoreland.

Donald W. Bigelow, age 87, of Westmoreland, died February 20, 2008, at Westmoreland Care and Rehabilitation Facility. Mr. Bigelow was originally from Corry, Pa. He worked for Corry School District and retired from Aero Supply Co. Mr. Bigelow was member of Corry Moose Lodge, East Branch Grange. Mr. Bigelow was born to the late Paul and Mildred Enders Bigelow and married Pauline Eastman in 1939. To this union was born a daughter, Linda Proper. Mr. Bigelow is survived by his wife, Pauline Eastman Bigelow of Westmoreland; his daughter, Linda Proper of Corry, Pa.; a granddaughter, Lori; two grandsons, Steven Kasper and Scott Bigelow; sister, Dorothy Van Tassel. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Bigelow. At the family's request, there will be no public visitation and no services will be held.

Thomas “Tom” Joseph Brazofsky, age 64, of Westmoreland, passed away January 28, 2008. He is survived by his brothers, Ralph and (Judy) Brazofsky of Heinz, Ore., John W. and (Mary) Brazofsky of Thompson, Ohio, David and (Elizabeth) Brazofsky of Mesopotania, Ohio; sister, Elaine and (James) Owen of Huntsville, Ala.; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; best friends, Ricky, Sharon and Jessi Gregory of Westmoreland. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Brazofsky and Alma Hild Brazofsky; sister, April Brazofsky. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with his brothers, John and David Brazofsky, speaking. Tom was a United States Air Force  Vietnam War Veteran. He was a former resident of Thompson, Ohio, and he graduated from Thompson High School. He retired from Peterbilt, where he worked as an Electrician Supervisor for 34 years.

Annie Jo Graves Caldwell, age 64, of Westmoreland, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Vernie) Braswell of Westmoreland, Diane (Mark) Keen of Portland, Sheila (Chuck) Caldwell; sisters, Jewell (Martin) Graves of Westmoreland, Alice Key of Portland, Ruth Hodges of Portland, Katherine Key of Portland, Nancy (Tommy) Morgan of Portland, Carolyn (Thomas) Harris of Westmoreland; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin D. Graves and William R. Caldwell; children, Patricia Graves and Franklin D. Graves, Jr.; brothers, Rufus Key, Lonnie Key and Bobby Joe Key. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008, from Union Chapel General Baptist Church with Bro. James Sadler and Bro. Chuck Caldwell officiating. Interment icon will be in Rippy cemetery. Mrs. Caldwell was a member of Union Chapel General Baptist Church, and she was a devoted housewife.

Michael James Carmack, age 55, of Madison (formerly of Gallatin), passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008. He is survived by his parents, Carl and Geraldine Ganett Carmack of Gallatin; daughter, Stacy Jackson of White House; sister, Cathy Carmack of Gallatin; brother, Bobby Carmack of White House; four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Carmack. There are no funeral services planned.

David Edward Carter, age 56, of Madison (formerly Westmoreland), passed away Monday, October 20, 2008. He is survived by his former wife and best friend, Diana Carter of Westmoreland; daughters, Bridgett (Johnny) Sullivan of Westmoreland, Laura Carter and fiance Richard Keefe of Portland; sons, Jonathan Carter and Michael Carter, both of Westmoreland, Steven (Lori) Carter of Portland, Bryan Carter of Westmoreland; mother and step-father, Jewell and Harold Maze of Gallatin; sister, Brenda Mandrell of Bethpage; half-brother, Johnny Maze of Gallatin; nieces, Sherry Shauv, Shelia O’Neal, Sheritza Howell and Laryon Maze. He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Eugene Carter; mother, Laura Louise Carter; step-mother: Laura Louise Carter. Visitation will be 2 p.m., until 9 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2008, and 10 a.m., until service time on Saturday. Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with interment icon at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. Carter was a United States Army veteran. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in the form of donations for Mr. Carter’s funeral service at Woodard Funeral Home.

Grady Travis Carter, age 32, of Westmoreland, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008. He is survived his father, George Thomas Carter of Bethpage; mother, Melba June Wix of Bethpage; son, Peyton Carter of Westmoreland; brother, Gregg Carter of Bethpage. Visitation will be 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2008, 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Sunday, and 9 a.m., until service time on Monday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. John Allen Graves, Bro. Stevie Anderson and Bro. Foster Bell officiating. Interment icon will be at New Hope cemetery. Pallbearers are Charlie Alexander, Jessie Cook, Joey Sherrill, Ronald Key, Jason Key, Trent Street, Shawn Carter and Curtis Copas. Mr. Carter was employed by Alexander Landscaping.

Infant Micah Joe Carter, age 3 months, of Westmoreland, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008. She is survived by her father, Robert Allen Carter of Westmoreland; mother, Tracye Lynn Caldwell of Westmoreland; sisters, Courtney Caldwell and Christa Graves, both of Westmoreland; brother, Robert Braxton Carter of Westmoreland; paternal grandparents, David and Brenda Wallace of Westmoreland; maternal grandparents, Jo and Peggy Caldwell of Westmoreland; maternal great-grandmother, Delorse Caldwell of Westmoreland; paternal great-grandmother, Betty Lee Carter of Westmoreland. Visitation will be 2 p.m., until 9 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2008, and 10 a.m., until service time on Saturday. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Kelly officiating. Interment icon will be at Caldwell cemetery.

Steve Carter, age 50, of Lafayette, Tenn., passed away January 15, 2008. He is survived by his father, Euloise Carter of Adolphus, Ky.; sons, James Nathan Carter and Joseph Carter of Lafayette; daughter, Amanda Carter of Lafayette; brothers, Stacy Carter and Freddie Troutt of Scottsville, Ky.; sisters, Stella Huntsman and Tammy Mitchell of Westmoreland; fiancee, Wilma Whitley of Lafayette. His was preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Stamps Carter. Visitation will be 1 p.m., until 9 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2008, and 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Thursday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Wix officiating. Interment icon will be in Oak Forest #1, Adolphus, Ky. Mr. Carter was employed at Portland Pallet, and he was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Kimberly Jean Charlton, age 43, of Bethpage, died May 24, 2008, at her residence. Ms. Charlton was originally from Terre Haute, Ind. Ms. Charlton was born to the late Wesley Eugene Charlton, Sr., and Connie Sue Robbin Charlton. Ms. Charlton is survived by her mother; Connie Sue Robbin Charlton of Terre Haute, Ind.; and a friend, Connie Burnley of Bethpage.
At the family's request, there will be no public visitation and no services will be held.

Phillip Sloan Clark, age 55, of Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Sumner Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Graves Meador Clark of Westmoreland; daughter, Kira Nicole (Bart) Lewis of Westmoreland; son, Jarrod (Chelsea) Clark of Cookeville; mother, Ruth Sloan (Charles) Woodard of Westmoreland; granddaughter, Skylor Clark of Westmoreland; brothers, Judson (Carol) Clark of Westmoreland, Mark (Pam) Clark of Hartsville; sister, Karen (Melvgn) Luhrs of Hartsville. Visitation will be 2 p.m., until 9 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2008, 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Saturday, and 10 a.m., until service time on Sunday. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Sloan and Bro. Wayne Keen officiating. Interment, Eulia cemetery. Mr. Clark proudly served his country in the Army during the  Vietnam War and the Desert Storm conflict with honors. He was vice-president of C & C Sportswear and was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.

Julius Lee Coker, age 70, of Long Beach, Calif. (formerly of Macon County, Tenn.), passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Henshaw Cothron of Westmoreland; sisters, Pat (Jim) Howell of Westmoreland, Lallie (W.T.) Warner of Westmoreland, Estelene Satterfield of Gallatin. He is preceded in death by his father, Delbert Lee Coker. Visitation will be 11 a.m., until 9 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008, and 10 a.m. until service time on Friday. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Dunham officiating. Interment icon will be at Green Grove cemetery of the Green Grove Community. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Ronald Wade Currey, age 49, of Castalian Springs, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008. He is survived by his brothers, Peter Currey of Gallatin, Verner Douglas and (Melissa) Christenson of Del Rio, Tex., Jason and (Jeannette) Pryor of Castalian Springs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Edwin Currey and Mabel Lila Tayse Pryor; brother, Donald Currey. Visitation will be 2 p.m., until 9 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2008, 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., on Saturday, and 10 a.m., until service time on Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bowers officiating. Interment icon will be in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Mr. Currey worked at Fleet Pride, and he was a member of Cornerstone General Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Marion Ruth Thompson Dillard, age 47, of Red Boiling Springs, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Ruth Dean Gifford and Harold W. Wright of Westmoreland; sister, Teresa Gann of Murfreesboro; brothers, Thomas Thompson of Lavergne, and Mike Thompson of Westmoreland. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Clinton Thompson; sister, Sandra Graves. Visitation will be 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2008, and 10 a.m., until service time on Thursday. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Dee Russell officiating. Interment icon is at Siloam cemetery.

Ethridge Dodson, age 93, of Westmoreland, passed away Monday, December 8, 2008, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Mayes Dodson of Westmoreland; sons, James “Jim” Dodson of Gallatin, Thomas Eric Dodson of Spring Creek, Tenn.; sister, Louise Sprow of Longwood, Fla.; grandchildren, Rodger Dodson of Lakeland, Fla., Karen (Roger) Tenpenny of Gallatin, Melissa (Jeff) Boudreau of Lebanon; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Tennie Sadler Dodson; sister, Leona Watkins. Visitation will be 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2008, and 10 a.m., until service time on Thursday. Funeral service is 1 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Curtis officiating. Interment icon at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. Dodson retired from the Sumner County Board of Education, and he was a member of Trammel Lodge #436 for 65 years. Mr. Ethridge and Mrs. Mabel were married for 72 years. Wilma Jean Dodson, age 67, of Gallatin, Tenn., passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008. She is survived by her husband, James Allen “Jim” Dodson of Gallatin; son, Ronald Edwards of Mendota, Va.; stepson, Roger Dodson of Lakeland, Fla.; stepdaughter, Karen Tenpenny of Gallatin; sisters, Judy Taylor, Agnes Odle and Sharon Glover all of Weber City, Va.; brothers, Colen Monroe, Marvin Monroe and Doug Monroe all of Weber City, Va.; grandchildren, Seth and Tyler Edward both of Mendota, Va.; twp step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Winnie Haynes Monroe. Visitation will be 12 noon until 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2008, and 9 a.m., until service time on Wednesday. Marjorie Lou Baugh Dombek, age 75, of Hartsville, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Martin of Lafayette, Laura (Donnie) Pruett of Russellville, Ala.; son, Gary (Pat) Dombek of Gallatin; grandchildren, Annie Marie Cote of Nashville, Sarah Emilie Williams of Lafayette, Amanda Neltner of Mt. Juliet, Robbie Gammon of Lafayette, Matthew Parker of Lafayette, Daniel Pruett of Russellville, Ala. She is preceded in death by her parents, Parents: Delton Oliver and Wilma Mary Roy Baugh. Gisela H. Dunn, age 82, of Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Sumner Regional Medical Hospital. She is survived by her son, Larry J. Nahai of Georgia; daughter, Elaine K. Priest of Maryland; sister, Doris Deist of Germany. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Thomas Dunn; parents, Heinrich and Ella Seiben Deist. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008, at the Robert Tabernacle cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment icon in Robert Tabernacle cemetery. Mrs. Dunn retired from the U.S. military Government.
