She is survived by her daughters, Launa Parker of Mooresville, Ind., Patricia (Roger) Brooks of Oak Grove; sons, Jessie Woodson (Janet) White of Gallatin, James (Romona) White of Gallatin, Ricky (Donna) White of Lafayette; 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sara Lee Hall Shrum; husband, Jollie White; daughters, Ruth Ann Troutt and Jewell Ragland. Visitation is 6 p.m., until 9 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2009, 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday, and 9 a.m., until service time Wednesday. Roberta Troutt Akins, age 88, of Westmoreland, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her sons, David Akins of Bowling Green, Ky., Wayne Akins of Bethpage, Mike (Peggy) Akins of Westmoreland; sister, Maidelle Bell of Westmoreland; brothers, Carl (Christina) Troutt of Gallatin, Ramie (Glenda) Troutt of Westmoreland; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Smiley and Lolar Perry Troutt; husband, Paul Moore Akins; son, Lloyd Neal Akins; sisters, Mary Lou Troutt, Myrtle Troutt, Minnie Norris Ray, Dean McClard, JoAnn Born; brothers, Leroy Troutt, Jack Troutt, Cantrell Troutt, Eugene Troutt. He is survived by his son, Tony (Cynthia) Blackwell of Westmoreland; sister, Elizabeth Rickert of Anderson, S.C.; brother, Richard Blackwell of Clinton, S.C.; grandchildren, Destiny Blackwell of Westmoreland, Cody Blackwell of Westmoreland, Jacob Blackwell of Westmoreland. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest E. and Agnes Green Blackwell; son, Michael Glenn Blackwell; grandson, Michael Keith Blackwell. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anna Perry Boren; parents, James Edgar and Velvie Bell May Boren. He is survived by his mother, Jessie Lee Brown of Westmoreland; daughters, Janet Keen of Portland, Joanie Brown of Bethpage, Carla Walker of Chicago, Ill., Billie Joe Graves of Westmoreland; sister, Jean (Willie) Leduc of Westmoreland; grandchildren, Jamie and Jolene Deville, Brian Edens, Michael Graves, Tara and Nicole McDonald. He is preceded in death by his father, Lowell Brown; daughter, Rhonda Morales; son, David Brown; granddaughter, Ariel Morales; grandson, Kevin Eidson; five great grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ruth Cannon Carter of Westmoreland; brothers, Ronald (Christina) Carter of Westmoreland, Mickey (Louise) Carter of Miami, Fla., Rocky (Betty) Carter of Westmoreland. She is survived by her parents, Billy Ray and Norma Taylor Caruthers of Westmoreland; sister, Jill (Mike) Troutt of Westmoreland; nephew, Will (Brandi) Troutt of Westmoreland; great niece, Avery Grace Troutt of Westmoreland. Larry Wayne Cates, age 69, of Westmoreland, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his sister, Carol (Don) Wilkerson Westmoreland; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernie T. and Vangie Lee Angela Cates; brothers, Leon Cates, Collins Cates, Billy Cates, Jimmy Cates, Thomas Cates, Donald Cates, John Lewis Cates and Harold Cates; sisters, Frances White and Minnie Troutt. Visitation is 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, and 10 a.m., until service time Sunday. Cecil Marty Cherry, age 53, of Westmoreland, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010, at University Medical Center. He is survived by his brother, Carl Matthews of Riverview, Fla.; aunts, Mae Moss of Westmoreland, Rose Huntsman of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Dorothy Lee Hughes Cherry. Visitation is 11 a.m., until service time, Sunday, January 31, 2010.
