Geraldine "Gerry" Longo Cannon, age 70 passed away Friday March 26 in San Francisco, California.

She is survived by: Husband: Harry A. Cannon of San Francisco.
Children: Jeff Toomaganian of Michigan, Gail Manning of Michigan, Ruth Eilen Maxwell of Michigan, Carrie Provenzano of Michigan and Jody Woodlee of Manchester.

11 Grandchildren
Brother: Jerry Todd
2 Sisters: Joanie Roberson and Janice Slatin.

Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Phene Allison "John" Adams, Jr.,age 76, a resident of Manchester, passed away Sunday, July 13 2003 at United Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

He was born October 24, 1926 in Cullman, AL the son of the late Phene Allison Adams, Sr., and Bessie Easterwood Adams. He was a United States Navy veteran having served during WWII where he received the WWII Victory Medal. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Adams.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Gene Ellis of Peachtree City, GA;son and daughter-in-law, John Clark and Barbara Adams of Sarasota, FL, brother and sister-in-law, Windole and Betty Adams of Tiftonia, TN; sister, Mildred Parker of Manchester and sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Pat Richardson of Manchester, granddaughter and a grandson.

Burial will follow services at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens and Dr. Kerry Walker will officate services.

Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his farther: Norman Lincoln Adams.

He is survived by: His wife Mildred Campbell Adams. Mother,Jennie Virginia Maxwell Adams.

3 children: Son, Don Lavelle Castleman, daughter, Kimberly Rochelle Adams, and a Son Don Lincoln Adams Jr..

4 sisters: Gloria Martin, Diana Nowlin, Vicki Adams, and Sherry Adams.

2 brothers: Larry Adams, and Ray Keith Adams.

Burial will be in Cypress Gardens in Manchester, TN.

She was the daughter of the late Ira Vann, Sr., and Nannie Delilah Decker Vann. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rice Estle Adams, Sr. and 2 Brothers, Ira Vann, Jr and L.H. Hendrix

Mr. Adams passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the age of 75. He retired June 1991 after 17 years from Batesville Casket Company. He was also in the US Army serving in the Korean War. Mr. Adams was the son of the late Lynn Adolphus Adams and Lizzie Crownover Adams. He was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Carlton Lavoy Adams41, a resident of Manchester, passed away November 23, 2004 in Ashburn, GA. He was born April 12, 1963 in Manchester, TN the son of Betty Ann Rogers Adams and the late Donald Lavoy Adams.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Marlene Myers Adams, beloved pet, Cupcake and paternal grandparents, Lynn & Lizzie Adams and maternal grandparents, Lawton and Alice Rogers.

In addtion to his mother, he is survived by his son, Bradley T. Adams of Manchester, daughter, Jillian Renee Adams of Manchester, sisters, Patti Nowlin of Manchester and brother, Greg Adams of Manchester, nieces and nephews, Krista and Kelsey Nowlin of Manchester, B.J. and Ryan Adams of Manchester, future daughter-in-law, Kelsie Parks of Hillsboro and many loving special friends at Marlene's Visible Changes and The Lee Company.

Brother Benny Benjamin will officiate services and burial will follow at Asbury cemetery.

Marcia Marlene Adams40, a resident of Manchester passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2004 in Ashburn, GA. She was born September 14, 1964 in McMinnville, TN the daughter of Jannie Belle Smartt Myers and the late, Thomas Luther Myers, Jr.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her son, Bradley T. Adams, daughter, Jillian Renee Adams both of Manchester, brother, Kerry Myers and sister, Barbara Myers both also of Manchester, nieces and nephews, Mark Myers, Tina Corea, Lebron, Christopher and Natalie Haggard all of Manchester, future daughter-in-law, Kelsie Parks of Hillsboro, and a host of friends at The Lee Company and Marlene's Visible Image.

Brother Benny Benjamin will officiate services and burial will follow at Asbury cemetery.

Raymond Watson Agee

Raymond Watson Ageeage 73 of Manchester passed away Monday, May 24, 2004 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. He was born August 3, 1930 in Midlothian, TX the son of the late Martin Luther Agee and Helen Watson Agee. He worked as a weather observer in Florida for many years. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1960.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart, Diabetes or Arthritis Associations.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Howard Jackson "Bill" Alford, age 64, a resident of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born July 14, 1939 in Coffee County, the son of William Levi and Gradie Pearl Hale Alford. he was owner of Bill's Auction & Gameroom and also a heavy equipment operator. He attended Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Buck Alford, Edgar Alford and William Alford, a sister, Catherine Alford, a half-sister, Linda Duncan and a granddaughter, Bobbie Lynn Alford.

He is survived by his wife, Christine "Chris" Alford of Manchester, four children, Louis W. Alford of Nashville, Beverly A. Gray, Dolores M ( Dean) Ellis and Bobbie "Jo" (Ray) Harmon all of Manchester, two step-children, Connie Reed of Murfreesboro, Ronald (Barbara) Moss of Woodbury, three sisters, Estelle Brown of Manchester, Elizabeth Patterson of Murfreesboro and Velma Hawkins of Massachusetts, grandchildren, Sgt. Brian L. West, Brittaney N. Gray, Faith A. Gray, F. Deanna Ellis, Louis W. Alford, Jr., Jeremie Howard Jackson Alford, Lauren A. Alford, Tabitha R. Dykes, Kayla Dykes Billy Steven Dykes, step-grandchildren, Anthony Reed, Anthony Harmon, Phillip Moss, Josh Rooker, Jerffery Nichols and Dustin Nichols.

Brother Frank Bell will officiate services and burial will follow at Gnat Hill cemetery, Coffee County, TN.

Katie Tuck Alfordage 87, a resident of Hillsboro, Tn passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004 at the Medical Center of Manchester. She was born March 7, 1917, the daughter of the late Jay and Mary Perry Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, James Horace Tuck and Jimmy J. Alford; son, James Buddy Tuck and a grandson, Stacy Kane Tuck.

She was a member of the Shady Grove Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jessie L. and Sandra Tuck, daughter-in-law, Hazel Tuck, three grandsons, Timothey (Donna) Tuck, Eric Tuck and James Freddie (Lisa)Tuck, two granddaughters, Mary and Joy Tuck, five great-granddaughters, Nicole, Jessica, Bridgette, Christy and Heather Tuck several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a brother, Horace Johnson and a sister, Vema Meadows.
