Francis Willard Davis, age 80, of Manchester, died April 13, 2003

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Angelo and Nettie Velva Endir Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Jean L. Davis of Manchester; children, Donna Davis of Houlton, WI, Cherie Townsend, Donald McMillen, Michael McMillen, Francis Willard Davis, Jr. and Loretta McMillen, all of Manchester, Mary Adams of the Asbury community and Bonnie "Susie" Hawkersmith of Tullahoma; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Ted Davis of Tampa, FL.

Burial will follow in the Summitville cemetery.

Manchester Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Noel D. Davis

Noel D. Davis, age 74, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born May 12, 1929. He was a United States Army veteran and was employed as Manager at Kingwood Arms for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Davis of Manchester, sons, Doug Davis of Manchester and David Davis of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Allen, Beth, and Christi. Also surviving is a sister, Faye Frampton of Cinncinatti, OH and brother Billy J. Davis of Centerville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Pastor David Hester will officiate services and burial will follow at Farrar Hill cemetery.

Willie Clairson (WC) DeBerry passed away Friday at his residence.

Mr. Deberry was preceded in death by: Wife-Nora Belle Hershman Deberry, a Daughter: Billie DeBerry Fair Silz.

He is survived by: Loving friend Alma Elrod,
Daughter: Thadra Duke
Son: Johnny DeBerry
5 Grandsons: Keith Fair, Charles E. "Chip" Fair, Dwayne Duke, Clairson DeBerry and John Deberry.
1 Granddaughter: Julie Smith
3 Great Granddaughters: Amber Rawn, Sydney DeBerry and Taylor DeBerry.
2 Great Grandsons: Geoffrey Fair and Clairson Dyer Deberry.
1 Great Great Grandson: Caleb Rawn.

Burial will follow in the Fredonia cemetery.

Anna B. DeFord, age 71, a resident of Manchester passed away Saturday, September 11, 2004 at her residence. She was born April 28, 1933 in West Virginia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary E. Brewer, brothers, Grant, Bob, Earl, Willard, Paul and Estel Brewer and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Frederick H. DeFord, son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Linda DeFord, grandchildren, Devin(Missy) DeFord, Amy DeFord and fiancee Shane Green, great-grandchildren, Emily Ann DeFord Garrett and Eli Gowen all of Manchester, sister, Ella Mae Ballard of West Virginia and brothers, Glen, Claude and Johnny Brewer all of Loudon County, Tn and Clarence Brewer of West Virginia.

Rev. Mark Barron and Brother Benny Benjamin will officiate services and burial will follow on Tuesday at Watkins cemetery in Loudon County, TN.

Albert Earl Dickerson

Albert Earl Dickerson, age 57, of Manchester, died December 5, 2002

Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie Ferry Dickerson and Jim Dickerson; and one brother, Charles Kenneth Carter.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert Dickerson of Manchester and Donald Dickerson of Birmingham, AL..

Graveside Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m. at Fredonia cemetery.

Coffee County Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Pamela Denise Doss

Pamela Denise Dossage 31, a resident of Morrison, TN passed away Friday, November 7, 2003 as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born July 20, 1972 in Coffee County, TN the daughter of the Calvin Duggin of Manchester and the late, Patricia Ann Duggin.

Mrs. Doss was a homemaker. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Coffee County Bank in Memory of Pamela Doss.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Doss is preceded in death by a nephew, Ryan Layne Spaulding, step-daughter, Kellie Doss, and grandfathers, Calvin Duggin and Leo Larrance.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Doss of Manchester, four children, Chelsey Breanne Doss, Dalton Mathew Doss, Candice Renae Doss and Chasity Shae Doss., a step-daughter, Ashley Doss of Tullahoma, her father, Calvin Duggin of Manchester, sister, Kristy Crabtree of Manchester grandmothers, Rachel Duggin and Betty Larrance both of Manchester.

Brother Bobby Moore and Brother Danny Hauskins will officiate services and burial will follow at Fredonia cemetery.

Jean Dotson

Visitation: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM

Jean Dotson, age 73, a resident of Manchester, TN passed away Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Bedford County Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1929 in Franklin Co., TN the daughter of the late Gilbert Newton and Janie Stevens Jernigan. She was retired from Empire Pencil Corporation in Shelbyville and wa a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Lamar Dotson of Manchester, 4 children, Doris (Ed) Humphries of Normandy, Brenda Dotson of Manchester, Debby (Elroy) Poff of Manchester, Robert Dotson of Manchester, 6 grandchildren, Tim(Tamera), Kelly, Shane York, Lisa Brown, Linda Reynolds, Brittany Poff, 2 great-grandchildren, Trestin and Madison York, a brother, John Henry Jernigan of Seceola, IN and 2 sisters, Anna Bea Cantrell and Evelyn Capps both of Shelbyville.

Reverend Everett Fulmer and Reverend James Manus will officiate services. Burial will follow at Fredonia cemetery.

Robie Drake

Visitation: Sunday, September 14, 2003 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM

Robie Drake, age 36, came into our lives on October 4, 1966, departed on September 13, 2003 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Robie was of the Baptist faith.

Robie is survived by Audura Drake, mother, Robert Drake, father, 2 sisters, Robin (Richard) Gatto and Wren Myers both of Manchester,one very special niece, Emilee Carr, 3 nephews, Loal Carr, Benjamin Carr and Christopher Carr and one great-nephew, Taylor Koops.

The family requests memorials be made to Hoovers Gap Church.

May God grant Robie the peace that he never quite found on this earth.

Clifford S. Driscoll

Clifford S. Driscoll age 86, of Manchester passed away Thursday at his residence.

Son of the late harvey and Susie Sims Driscoll. He is also preceded in death by his wife Alice Elizabeth Driscoll and a sibling: Johnnie Driscoll.

Clifford (Sheri) Driscoll of Winchester
Sandra (Arthur) Brandon of Indiana

Interment will follow in the Maplewood cemetery.

Mrs. Driver was preceded in death by her parents, James and Della Ridner Driver, and by 14 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her brother, J.C. Driver and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Ann Driver

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Driver, age 82, passed away Friday, June 18, 2004 at United REgional Medical Center in Manchester. She was the daughter of the late Horace Edward Gunn and Myrtle Pennygrass Gunn.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, H.E., Charles, and Richard Gunn; sons, Jimmy and Frankie Ash; and grandson, Jimmy Ash

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Mearse of Flintville, TN; brother, James Gunn of Tullahoma; sister, Lillie Louise Thompson of Tullahoma; very special friend, Mrs. Floy Frazier of Tullahoma; Grandchildren, Minnie Farris, Lisa Sisk, Mary Lynn and John Scott, Jr. and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Driver will be buried in Maplewood cemetery in Tullahoma. Brother Ed Brown will officiate the services.

Lyndell Duke

Lyndell Duke, age 64, a resident of Morrison,TN passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro after en extended illness. He was born January 19, 1939 in Coffee County, Tn the son of Mollie Duke and the late Houston Edward Duke. He was a member of the Summitville Church of Christ. Mr. Duke helped obtain information for the book "History of Summitville". He was active in the Summitville Community Center and caretaker of Summitville cemetery. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Duke of Summitville, his mother, Mollie Duke of Summitville, son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Stephanie Duke of Spring Hill, TN, and daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Ronnie Moffitt of Harrodsburg, KY, granddaughter, Annie Moffitt of Harrodsburg, KY, sisters, Marilyn Drain of Chicamauga, GA, Betty Allen of Muncie, IN and Jane (Jim) Ferretti of Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Brother Mark McDonald will officiate services and burial will follow at Summitville cemetery.

Mozelle Duncan

Mrs. Duncan age 89 of Manchester, died Thursday at Coffee Medical Center.

Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by: Parents Charles E. and Lena Owen Hutchens. Her husband James Howard Duncan.

She is survived by: 2 daughters Charlotte Caudill and Frank, Patricia Collins.

One son: Richard Hardy

Several Grandchildren: Lezlie Downs, Kathy Sturgis, David Sturgis, and Kelli Carper.

Several Great Grandchildren

Burial will follow in Hillsboro Memorial cemetery.
