Four sisters: Nancy Swinney, Linda Cox , Brenda Childs and Diane Hershman. Seven Grandchildren: Hanna Elizabeth Gassman, Shaina Ashley Gipson, Joy Naomi Gassman, Timothy Isreal Gassman, Daniel Paul Gassman, Elizabeth Evon Jones and Laura Anne Jones.

Phyllis Gwyn Goffage 49, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Manchester Health Care Center. She was born April 19, 1955 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Carroll Eugene Gibson and Ora Peral Lee Dye. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, James Goff of Texas, son, Thomas Johnson of Shady Point, OK, two daughters, Michelle Johnson of Shady Point, OK and Gwyn Davis of Hillsboro, TN, four grandchildren, six brothers, Eugene Gibson of Tyler, TX, Phillip Gibson of Gilmer, TX, Jimmy Gibson of Hillsboro, TN, Thomas Gibson of Gilber, TX, Kevin Gibson of Gilmer, TX and Kevin Gibson also of Gilmer, TX, two sisters, LaDonna Adcock of Gilmer, TX and Jody Holiday of Tulsa, OK, Step-Mother, Lenora Gibson of Pocola, OK, five step-brothers, Randy, Charles, Ronnie, Frank, and Don Brown and three step sisters, Joyce Christian, Wanda Couch and Viola Hayse.

Rolland Elvis Gold, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at Harton Regional Medical Center.

Born January 11, 1943 in the Pocahontas Community of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Andrew Gold and Zena Mae Barns Gold. He was retired after 40 years of service from the Tullahoma News where he was employed in advertising.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Gold, and a brother, Andrew Gold.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Karen Gold of Manchester

Grandchildren, Brandy and Hunter Gold both of Manchester

Sisters, Janice Medley of Tullahoma, Wynona Randolph, Beulah Perry, Artice Sain all of Manchester, and Marlene Bice of Tullahoma, TN

Ms Goldfarb was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano Dominguez and Amparo Perez; one brother, Luciano Dominguez, Jr.; and one sister, Dinora Martinez. She is survived by one daughter, Magaly (Robert) Arcia of Beech Grove; four grandchildren, Robert Arcia, Jr. of CO, Pablo E. Arcia of FL, Magaly Lujardo of FL, and Alicia Quero of FL; eight great grandchildren, Henry, Jason, Jennifer, Lissette, Renee, Tyler, Pablo, and Kaylee; two nieces, Selvia Barredo and Sonia Traabjerg; one great niece, Creatina Traabjerg; and one great nephew, Nilo Barredo.

She was born June 13, 1914 in Laynes Cove, Tennessee to William Taylor and Lessie Myrtle Thomas Layne. She married Lewis Bailey Good on February 28, 1933 in Manchester, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband on August 13, 1968 in Peoria, IL; 2 sons; 1 grandson; and 3 brothers.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Erlene Stewart, Joetta M. Rhodes and Vicky L Kensinger.

2 Sons; L.B. (Sarah) Good, and Barry A Good.

17 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren.

3 Sisters; Villis Thomas, Jean (Harvey) Woodward, and Helen Sargent.

1 Brother; Bob Layne

Virginia Dare Gordon, age 76, of Manchester, died May 22, 2003.

Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husband, Carl David Gordon.

She is survived by her daughter, Delores (Riley) Medford of Manchester;
two sons, Tommy (Doris) Gordon of Knoxville and David (Martha) Gordon of Ooltewah;
four grandchildren, Mary Lynn White, Kim Brown and Susan Barnes, all of Knoxville, and Chris Gordon of Ooltewah;
four great grandchildren; Ally, Andy & Matthew White and Madison Brown, all of Knoxville;
one sister, Mozelle Brady of Charlotte, NC;
one brother, Rod (Gwen) Lester of Norman, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

Florence Gowen age 85, a resident of Manchester passed away Thursday, January 1, 2004 at her residence. She was born February 21, 1918 in Coffee County, the daughter of the late David and Elsie Bush Gilley. She was a home maker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Mason Gowen, a sister, Wanda Gilley and a brother, Finis Gilley.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Alton L. & barbara Jane Gowen of North Potomac, MD, four grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Gowen, Michael Ryan Gowen, Michelle Dawn (Brian Louis) Souva, William Richard (Faye Ellen) Stec, two great-grandchildren, Jacob Cody Souva and Lucas Brian Souva, her best friend, Rosa Nunley, sister, Opal Rigney of Manchester and three brothers, Austin Gilley of Detroit, MI, Clarence Gilley of Woodbury, Tn and Wayne Gilley of Manchester.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Multi County Cancer Support Network.

Brother Foy Rigney will officiate services.

W. C. "Bill" Graeler

W. C. "Bill" Graeler, age 88 of Manchester, TN passed away October 13, 2003. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Janice Harlan and a son, Peter Graeler. Educated in Missouri public schools and Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He maintained 41 years continuous employment with Century Electric/Gould, beginning as a machine operator in St. Louis and later as plant manager in both McMinnville, TN and Corinth, MS. Most recent affiliations were with the Royal Arch Masons of Missouri, Unitarian Universalist Church, and Boy Scouts of America. As a lifelong volunteer and contributor to community and church from age 21, his primary focus was young people. He developed a great knowledge of and shared his love of nature. He was an avid birder. He recently received a Veteran Certificate for 60 years of service to the Boy Scouts of America. Survived by daughters, Carol (Thurston) Briggs, Manchester; and Chris (Fred) Guenther, Kensington, MD; son, Craig Graeler, San Diego, CA; daughter-in-law, Camille Graeler, Pittsburg, PA; grandchildren, Eric Graeler, Cincinnati, OH, Ryan Graeler, Louisville, KY, Becky Briggs, St. Petersburg, FL, Celia Briggs Gruzalski, Denver, CO, Elizabeth Briggs Perry and Ellen Briggs, both of Manchester, TN; great granddaughter, Megan Graeler. Graveside memorial services will be held in St. Louis, MO at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN or the Boy Scouts of America. Coffee County Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Vada Gregory Graham, age 65 passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Clarksville, TN, she was a retired cafeteria manager at Westwood Junior High School. A member of St. Paul Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Harold Weakley and Dovie Margaret Dalton Weakley.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Gregory and a son, Brian Gregory.

She is survived by a husband, Homer Graham of Manchester; son, Joel (Lisa) Gregory; two grandchildren, Ethan Gregory and Michael Gregory; a brother, Rodger (Ann) Weakley; a sister, Teresa Lequire; Homer's children, Darrell (Sandy) Graham and Sharon Lynn (Tommy) Nunley; Homer's grandchildren, Dustin and Dillon Graham and Chris Allan and Dallas Nunley; and several nieces and nephews.

Brother Jim Parks and Brother Don Morris officiating services.

Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Member of the Interact Club, Spanish II Club, and the Track Team.

She is survived by: Parents; Mark & Vicky Green of Manchester.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Aubrey and Addie Harmon Crosslin, her husband: Robert Lee "Speck" Gregory and two brothers, Roy Crosslin and Ervin C. Crosslin.

She is survived by: 3 daughters; Patsy (Wayne) Clouse, Lou (Steve) Hale, Judy (Raymond) Thomasson.

3 grandchildren: Christy Clouse, Jason Clouse and Scott Hale

1 great grandchild: Odin Hale

Mary Elizabeth Bryan Grooms age 84, a resident of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2004 at Lynchburg Nursing Center. She was born September 26, 1919 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late J.Q.A. and Fayola Bryan.

She was a lifelong member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church and for a short time taught school in Hillsboro. She was also a retired receptionist employed by AEDC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Milton "Colonel" Grooms, who passed away Sept. 5, 1971 and five brothers, Freeman, J.Q., Ewin, Sam and Edwin Bryan.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Lou Bryan of California, Grace Bryan of Nashville and Maymie Bryan of Tullahoma, and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Reverend Larry McGranahan will officiate services and burial will follow at Hillsboro Memorial cemetery.
