Clyde Wiliam Millraney, age 88, a resident of Manchester, TN died Friday evening at United Regional Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1914 in Coffee Co., the son of the late William Thomas Millraney and Errie Hitson Millraney. He was a farmer and in addition to his parents, is preceded in death by a brother, Carl Millraney.

Survivors include his nephew, Wayne Millraney of Manchester and numerous loving friends.

J. W. Mills

J.W. Mills, age 88, a lifelong resident of Coffee County, passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at United Regional Medical Center. He was born December 9, 1915 in Coffee County, the son of the late W. C. and Bertha Norris Mills. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mills is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Tennie Boyd Mills in February of 2002, and two infant daughters and a brother, Elijah Mills.

Mr. Mills was a farmer and a member of Cumberland Academy Church of Christ.

Survivors include his daughter, Anna Crumley of Tullahoma, grandson, Chris Crumley, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family including all the loving, caring and devoted staff of United Regional Medical Center Nursing Home.

Brother Horace Lee Jacobs will officiate services and burial will follow at Zion Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Mills, age 89, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at NHC in Hendersonville. She was retired from International Rectifier in California and a member of East Main Street Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Mills; parents, Charles A. and Emma Fults Thurman, six sisters, Lizzie Sherrill, Lou Sherrill, Beatrice Myers, Ethel Partin, Christine Cameron, and Ardean Elkins. She is survived by her daughter, Quindal M. Godin of Nashville; son, Roger Mills of Sheridan, Oregon; five grandchildren, Dawn, Pat, Denise, Christa, JoNell; five great grandchildren, CJ, Katie, Alex, Devyn and Hannah Grace. Burial will be in the Beans Creek cemetery with Bro. George Pennocker officiating.

One grandson, Corbin Thomason;
Fiance - Shane Reagin of Manchester.
Mother, Clara (John) Bray of Manchester.
Father, Douglas (Jill) Thomason.
Two Sisters: Bobbie Jo Lowery and Pamela Kaye Mackie all of Manchester.

Mrs. Katie E. Moore, age 84, passed away Saturday at United Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her parents, Silas Baugh and Sallie Romines Baugh, her husband, J.B. Moore in 1987, and brothers and sisters, Jeanette Renois, Verma Lang, Villa Riddle, Ella Burt and Iva Jane Baugh.

She is survived by daughter, Shirley Townsend of Manchester, son, Doyle Moore of Manchester, daughter and son-in-law, Lillian and Wilford Bailey of Tullahoma, daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Thomas Brandon of Manchester and son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Alicea Moore of Manchester, 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Step-great grandchildren and a sister, Jeattie Rogers of Mobile, AL.

Burial will follow at Manchester City cemetery.

Samuel Baxter Moores,age 83, a resident of the Asbury community, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003. He was born February 9, 1920 in Lewisburg, TN the son of the late William Thomas Moores and Mavis Baxter Moores. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Mickey Moores.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Thelma Moores of Manchester,

son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Debbie Moores of Hendersonville, TN

Daughter and son-in-law, Beckey and Wesley Parker of Manchester,

seven grandchildren, Michelle Jones, Chuck Moores, Michael Moores, Jennifer Moores, John Parker, Lesley Parker Hennessee and Natalie Moores

seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are special nephews, Tommy, Billy and Jerry Moores.

She was a member of First Presbyterian, The family suggests donations be made to one of the following: First Presbyterian Church, Good Samaritan-Manchester, or Multi-County Cancer Support Network.

Preceded in death by: her husband; Daniel R. Moser, Parents; William Bixler and Roxie Haxel Robinson Garland, Grandson; Daniel William Moser, 2 sisters; Harriet Ann Garland Onyett, and Nancy Julia Garland.

Mrs. Moser is survived by: Son and daughter in law; William and Ann Moser of Homewood, IL, Daughter and son in law; Elizabeth and Ken Allen of Manchester, TN. Granddaughter: Sara Allen of McLean, VA.

Interment will be in the Chattanooga National cemetery.

Betty Jane Moss, age 61, a resident of Manchester, TN passed away, Monday, June 23, 2003 at the Medical Center of Manchester. She was born November 17, 1941 in Nashville, TN the daughter of Evelyn Ruth Gaines Holt of Manchester and her father, the late Buford Lowry Holt. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lowry Holt and a grandson, Corey M. Gipson.

Survivors include her daughters, Becky (Raymond) Hittson of Manchester, Debbie Riddle of Manchester and Sheri (Ben) Platt of Manchester, 8 grandchildren, Christy M. Moss, Dustin Lowry Moss, Micah L. Gipson, Ryan Duke, Stephanie M. Platt, Leilani Holt Wines, Brandon B. Platt and Raylynn Hittson, and 4 great-grandchildren, Savannah Freeze, Alexandra Freeze, Amber D. Wines and Nikki Wines and a niece and nephew, Sharon and Jess Holt of LaVergne.

Ms. Moss was employed as a laminator with Fuji Photo Labs and was a member of the Church of Christ.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Haven of Hope or to the Humane Society.

Brother Benny Benjamin will officiate services and burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include parents, Dr. Joel Muehlhauser and Wanda Sue Muehlhauser both of Manchester, sister, Emmely Muehlhauser Duncan and brother-in-law, Michael Duncan, brother, Eric Muehlhauser and loving grandparents.
