She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Blount County. Preceded in death by husband, Faymer Hutchens, Sr.; parents, George A. and Ella McClurg; and son, Robert L. Hutchens.

Spurgeon, Dr. Andra L., age 49 of South Knoxville passed away on Friday, November 1, 2002 after a long illness. He was owner-operator of Colonial Heights Chiropractic Office since 1979. He served on the board of trustees at Life University in Marietta, Georgia since 1979 and was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Blount County for 30 years.

Hood, Jr. (Sonny).

Hutchens, Edward F., age 74, of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Retired from the University of Tennessee with 27 years of service. He was elected a Knox County Constable in August of 1960 and was a Captain with the Knox County Sheriff's Department for 10 years. He was preceded in death by mother, Clara Mae Hutchens; father, Herbert Hutchens; and brothers, William and Charles Hutchens.

Buchanan, Lela Irene Ingle Cockrum, of South Knoxville, died at her home on Friday, May 30, 2003. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 15, 1927, she was raised in South Knoxville and was a 1945 graduate of Knoxville High. As a secretary, Lela was employed by First Baptist Church and later retired from TVA in 1987. As an active, long-time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, she loved her church family and enjoyed serving in various ministries throughout her life. Lela was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie E. Cockrum and brother, Joseph A. (J.A) Ingle.
