He was an avid fisherman and was a member of the North American Fishing Club. Preceded in death by parents, Jefferson Ellis Hill and Irene Hare Hill; brothers, Dale Hill and Billy Hill.

Kirby, Ruby L., age 79, of Lenoir City, formerly of Knoxville, passed away at Loudon County Health Care Center Monday, August 16, 2004. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Knoxville. Preceded in death by husband, Marshall Bruce Kirby; son, Darryl Kirby; parents, Dennis and Willie Pittman; sister, Mildred Long and brother, Clifford Pittman.

Son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Denise Kirby of Lenoir City; granddaughters, Caitlyn, Brandy and Bryson Kirby; sister, Hazel San-Na-Myna of Maryville; brother, William Pittman of Knoxville; best friend, Lorene Rudder of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.

She was a teacher for 18 years in West Virginia coal mining areas near Montcoal, West Virginia. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. James S. Skaggs; parents, B.A. (Jake) and Martha Jane Pettry Webb; brothers, Delbert Webb, Basil Webb, and infant brother, Otis Webb ; sister, Virgie Webb Green.

Flora Trevena Bohanan

Bohanan, Flora Trevena –age 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Baptist Hospital. Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver L. Bohanan, who retired from the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA).

She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth; sons, James and Anthony, all of Knoxville; grandsons, Dewayne Hamilton, James O. Bohanan, Jr. and Steven W. Bohanan; granddaughter, Julie Pratt-Rutherford; great-grandsons, Nicholos Hamilton, Adam Bohanan, Jason Pratt and Jonah Rutherford; and great-granddaughters, Brittany Hamilton, Jessica and Jennifer Pratt, and Jordanna Rutherford. She was a member of Gayland Heights Baptist Church and was very active in church affairs before her health failed.
