Delta Marie Webster Wallace, 92, of Clinton, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at Lake City Health Care Center.
Mrs. Wallace was a member of Blowing Springs Baptist Church in Clinton.
She was born in Anderson County on Sept. 7, 1905, the daughter of Millard and Maggie Webster. She worked at the former Magnet Mills in Clinton for 14 years.
She was the widow of John T. Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by a son, John Carter Wallace and his wife, Virginia Lee Wallace, of Waynesboro, Va.; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Lynn Weaver of Chicago, Ill.; a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Wallace of Nashville; a grandson, Jason Daniel Wallace of Clemson, S.C.; and a step-grandson, John Edward Kouns of Denver, Colo.
She is also survived by a sister, Beulah Long of Clinton; four sisters-in-law, Geneva Webster of Lake City and Jeanette Leinart, Effie Webster and Blanche Webster, all of Clinton; and by several nieces and nephews.
Three sisters, Ruby Cooper, Madge Leinart and Juanita Hughes, and four brothers, Paul Webster, Edgar Webster, Boyd Webster and Theo Webster, died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Larry Webster, the Rev. Tom Byrge and the Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset cemetery in Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the funeral home.
Robert Jackson Moore
Father of Oak Ridge resident
Robert Jackson Moore, 87, of Saltville, Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center in Johnson City.
Mr. Moore was the father of James Thomas "Tom" Moore of Oak Ridge.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Saltville VFW Post No. 7327.
Mr. Moore was retired from the Olin Corp. He was a member of Chilhowie Baptist Church in Chilhowie, Va.
In addition to his local son, he is survived by his wife, Eva Ashley Moore; another son, Cecil Bradley Moore of Glade Spring, Va.; and by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in the chapel of the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home, 148 E. Main St., Saltville, with the Rev. Chuck Herald officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Rose cemetery in Saltville. Pallbearers are Ralph Adams, Ralph Gilbert, Scott Moore, Edward Moore, Riley Curd and Roger Frye.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Feb. 20, at the funeral home.

Geneva Harris Graves
Aunt of Oak Ridge resident
Geneva Harris Graves, 96, of Williamsburg Villas Assisted Living Center, Knoxville, died Friday, March 13, 1998, at the center, where she had lived since November 1997.
Mrs. Graves came to Oak Ridge in 1995 and lived with her nephew, Sammie C. Harris and his family, before moving to Williamsburg Villas.
She retired in 1965 after more than 30 years as a schoolteacher with the Houston, Texas, Independent School District.
She was born in Mount Eden, Texas, on Aug. 27, 1901, the oldest daughter of Sammie S. and Matilda Henry Harris. She received a master's degree in education from Texas Southern University.
She was the widow of Leonard Charles Graves, who died in 1983. They were married
on Feb. 27, 1928.
Mrs. Graves had a love of life and of people, according to her family, who said this was reflected in her many years of service as both a teacher at Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, where she was affectionately known as "Mama Graves," and as an active bishop's wife in the Independent Methodist Episcopalian Church, which her husband founded.
While living in Oak Ridge she attended Grace Lutheran Church and was also a regular visitor at Spurgeon Chapel AME Zion Church.
In addition to her local nephew, Mrs. Graves is survived by nephews Rector L. Harris of Houston, Roby Radley of Altadena, Calif., Leonard Davis of Somerville, Texas, James Baldwin of Tyler, Texas, and Ezell Valentine of Waco, Texas; and nieces Donna Goode Anderson of Houston and Clara Lacey and Helen Comeaux, both of San Francisco, Calif.
She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Cloteal Harris of Houston; a cousin she considered special, Nellie Gibson of Houston; and several other cousins and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Friends she considered special are Anna Hansard of Clinton and Bobbie Balsley, Diane Cox and Sara Williams, all of Lake City.
In addition to her husband, four sisters, Merle Harris Sanchez, Elma Harris Andrews, Jewel Coleman Harding and Cretelia Harris Bolton, and a brother, Sammie Lysha Harris, died earlier.
Services will be held at the 34th Street IME Church in Houston. Burial will be at Paradise North in Houston.
Weatherford Mortuary of Oak Ridge and Ross Mortuary of Houston handled arrangements.
Ludmilla Geiger Hamilton
St. Mary's Church member
Ludmilla "Luddy" Geiger Hamilton, 83, of Windwood Health & Rehabilitation Center in Clinton and a former resident of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at the health care center.
Mrs. Hamilton was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a homemaker.
She was born in Manitowoc, Wis., on Feb. 27, 1915, the youngest child of the three children of Charles Bartholomew and Ludmilla Kabat Geiger. She was a graduate of the former Milwaukee State Teachers College and taught kindergarten for three years prior to her marriage to Joseph Hamilton Jr. on Dec. 26, 1940. Mr. Hamilton died on Jan. 4, 1993.
Before moving to Oak Ridge in 1991 with her husband, Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish in San Antonio, Texas, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was also an active member of the Gibbons Club, St. Rita's Guild, the Sultanas and the Auxiliary of Santa Rosa Medical Center.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by three daughters, Julia Gartseff and her husband, George, of Oak Ridge, Milla Oestreich and her husband, Mark, of Shelton, Wash., and Barbara Earthman and her husband, Bobby, of Amarillo, Texas; a son, Joseph J. Hamilton and his wife, Karen, of Houston, Texas; a niece, Ellen Aumann and her husband, Walt, of Wisconsin; and by 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Lawrence Swift of Oak Ridge was considered a special friend.
A brother, Carl Geiger, died in infancy, and another brother, Lawrence Geiger of Manitowoc, Wis., also died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Diaz officiating. Burial will follow at the Tennessee Veterans cemetery in Knoxville.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 7:30 tonight, March 17, at Weatherford Mortuary. A Rosary will be said at 7:30.

Irene Rose Bowling, 90, of Clinton, died Monday, May 4, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Bowling was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Clinton.
She was born in Anderson County on Dec. 2, 1907, the daughter of George and Eliza Weaver.
She was the widow of Roy L. Bowling.
Mrs. Bowling is survived by one daughter, Christine Stringfield and her husband, Charles, of Powell; three sons, Dr. Kermit W. Bowling of Old Hickory, Roy L. Bowling and his wife, Sally, of Jupiter, Fla., and Glenn W. Bowling and his wife, Ann, of New Tazewell; and by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by four sisters-in-law, Anna Garner of Louisville, Tenn., and Lorene Bowling, Katherine Bowling and Lou Bowling, all of Clinton; and a brother-in-law, Link C. Bowling of Clinton.
A daughter, Carolyn Bowling, died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Bethel Baptist Church in Clinton with the Rev. Mark Keith officiating.
Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church cemetery in Clinton.

Thomas P. Henry
Former Oak Ridge resident
Thomas P. Henry, 63, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Friday, May 1, 1998, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr. Henry came to Oak Ridge as a child in 1944. He attended elementary schools here and was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School.
He was born in Newcomb, Tenn., on June 14, 1934, the son of Nelle Hardie and William T. Henry, both now deceased..
Mr. Henry was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired after 40 years of service with the Siemens Co. in Cincinnati.
He enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing with his family and friends.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Norma Henry, and son, Jason Henry; two sisters, Juanell Byrd of Pioneer, and Nedra Potts of Gallatin; one brother, William T. Henry of Oak Ridge; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Jim Henry and John Henry, and a sister, Atha Henry, died earlier.
The funeral was held in the chapel of Vorhis Funeral Home in Springdale, Ohio.
Burial was at Oak Hill cemetery in Springdale.
Isaac Ellis Horton Jr.

Isaac Ellis Horton Jr., 73, Old Emory Road, Claxton, died Monday, May 4, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mr. Horton was a member and deacon of Edgemoor Baptist Church in Claxton.
He was the son of Isaac Horton Sr. and Lonia Gilliam Horton, both now deceased. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II and was a prisoner of war.
Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Anna Lou Braden Horton; a daughter, Brenda McMurray and her husband, Gary, of Seymour; a granddaughter, Heather Aistrop and her husband, Matt, of Seymour; a grandson, Ryan McMurray of Seymour; and a great-granddaughter, Katlyn Aistrop of Seymour.
He is also survived by three sisters, Marie Horton Hatmaker of Oak Ridge and Edna Hannah and Sibyle Seiber and her husband, Bill, all of Clinton; two brothers, Carl Horton and his wife, Pauline, of Charleston, S.C., and Ray Horton and his wife, Nancy, of Maryville; sisters-in-law and their spouses, Jean Horton and Merry Carol and Doug Padgett, all of Lake City, Jane Horton and Pat and Charlie McMillian, all of Clinton, Sue Crowley of Trenton, Ohio, Glenna and Billy Jo Craig of Wilmington, Ill., and Jean Braden of Middletown, Ohio; a brother-in-law, David Braden of Andersonville; and by several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Arletta Rorex, and two brothers, Milo Horton and Bill Horton, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Edgemoor Baptist Church, 330 Old Emory Road, Claxton community. The Rev. C.K. Coffman and the Rev. Terry Moore will officiate.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at McCarty Woodhaven Memory Gardens in Claxton with full military honors conducted by the East Tennessee Veterans State Honor Guard. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Kenneth L. Webber
Former automobile dealer
Kenneth L. Webber, 82, of Clinton, died Monday, May 4, 1998, at Mariner Health of Norris.
In earlier years, Mr. Webber had worked as a car dealer in Clinton with his brother. He had also worked as a security guard at Modine.
Born Jan. 2, 1916, in Anderson County, he was the son of Luke and Grace Webber. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton.
Prior to his illness, Mr. Webber had enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Atha Leach Webber; a daughter, Kathy Wilson and her husband, David, of Clinton; a son, Kenneth Webber of Clinton; a stepdaughter, Linda Wilson and her husband, Larry, of Clinton; a stepson, Donald Leach and his wife, Carol, of Lake City; and two brothers, L.W. "Ronchie" Webber and his wife, Dorothy, James Q. Webber and his wife, Nannabelle, and Edward Webber and his wife, Edith, all of Clinton.
Mr. Webber is also survived by a grandson, Sean Wilson of Clinton; step-grandchildren, Kent and Randy Wilson, and Dale, Darren and Darrell Leach and his wife, Kim, all of Lake City; and step-great-grandchildren, Dustin and Bobby Leach and Nakoma Devaney, all of Lake City.
The funeral will be at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at Sunset cemetery in Clinton.
