Margaret Graham, 80, of New Market, Ala., died Monday (Nov. 8, 2010). Graveside services were conducted Wednesday at Taylor cemetery with the Rev. Henry McPeters officiating. Hazel Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Helen Geneva Reynolds Groce, 89, a resident of Fayetteville, died Friday (Nov. 19, 2010) at the Lincoln Medical Center. She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Jim B. and Lorene Faulkner Reynolds. She was the bookkeeper for Groce�s Feed Mill and a member of the Stoney Point Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.A. Groce, in 2007. Survivors include her daughters, Reba Adams of Park City, Retha Street of Fayetteville, Linda Edwards of Madison, Ala.; sister, Dorothy Groce of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial followed in Booneville cemetery. Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ricky Lynn Hatley, 48, of Flintville, died Monday morning (Nov. 15, 2010) at his residence. He was a native of Huntland and the son of Luther Hatley and the late Mary Lou Lopez Hatley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a former employee of Redstone Arsenal and a member of the Flintville Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Kelly Rawls Hatley of Flintville; sister, Kelly Wilbanks and husband, Wesley, of Flintville; brother, Patrick Lee Hatley and wife, Sherry, of Flintville; one niece; six nephews; one great-niece; aunts; uncles; and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at Flintville First Baptist church with Bro. Bruce Shockley and Dr. Paul Sain officiating. Interment icon followed in Flintville cemetery. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Kathleen Caldwell Hunter, 83, a resident of Nashville, formerly of Kelso, died Wednesday morning (Nov. 17, 2010) at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus. She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Houston F. and Lula Warren Caldwell. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker and a Christian. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Hunter Lowe of London, England; son, Joe Hunter of Michigan; three brothers, Alden Caldwell of Kelso, Houston Floyd Caldwell of St. Louis, Mo., Thomas Caldwell of Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Lydia Shelton and Lindia Harliss, both of Chattanooga; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. Burial followed in Kelso cemetery beside her husband, Joe Billy Hunter. Martha Ellen Scott McCormick, 86, of Huntsville, Ala., died Tuesday (Nov. 16, 2010) at her home. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Ala., with Bro. Bryan Martin and Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial was in Gatlin cemetery. Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Jordan Seth Shores, 18, of Elkmont, Ala., died Tuesday (Nov. 16, 2010). Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Ala. Burial was in Mount Pleasant cemetery, Ardmore, Ala. Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Richard E. Stuart, 82, a resident of Fayetteville, died Saturday morning (Nov. 20, 2010) at Lynchburg Nursing Home. The son of the late Percy O. and Hazel I. DeSelms Stuart, he was a native of Wadsworth, Ohio, formerly employed as an engineer and regional sales manager at Russell Associates and a member of Liberty Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Edward Stuart. Survivors include his wife, Betty Wilkerson Stuart of Fayetteville; sisters, Lois May Looney of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Harvetta Gambil of Rottman, Ohio; mother-in-law, Jewell Wilkerson of Fayetteville; brother-in-law, Blake Wilkerson and wife, Betty, of Fayetteville; sisters-in-law, Lyn LeCrone and husband, Roy, of Florida and Sue Donaldson of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. Richard Rogers officiating. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Blake Scott Wallis, 16, of Prospect, died Sunday (Nov. 14, 2010). Born Monday, Feb 28, 1994, in Fort Campbell, Ky., he was the son of Christopher Wallis and Sheila Randolph. He lived in the Prospect area for 12 years, coming from Clarksville. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Lawrenceburg Ward of the Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his parents, Christopher Scott Wallis of Cadiz, Ky., and Sheila Joy Randolph of Lewisburg; brothers, Tyler Chaney of Elkton and Gabe Chaney of Elkton; sister, Brooke Wallis of Elkton; grandparents, David and Sheila K. Randolph of Elkton, Brenda and Bill Monroe Lancaster of Clarksville and Sherry Shook of Hazel Green, Ala.; and great-grandparents, Lottie B. Randolph of Ardmore and Earl Shook of Hazel Green; aunt, Lacy and Elijah Simpson of Athens, Ala.; and uncles, Jason Randolph of Athens and Jessie Sexton of Minor Hill. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hughes officiating. Burial followed in Gatlin cemetery in Ardmore, Ala. Hazeltine Wright, 84, of New Market, Ala., died Thursday (Nov. 11, 2010) at her residence. Graveside funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Miller cemetery with the Rev. Henry McPeters and Bro. Tim Rice officiating. Hazel Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

George Richard Bean, 75, a resident of Petersburg, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 2010) at his home. He was a native of Knox County, the son of the late Orcan E. and Pauline Chambers Bean. He was general manager for the U.S. Postal Service and a veteran of the United States Army. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Dean Atchley Bean; sister, Betty Mainus; and brother, Tommy Bean. Survivors include his daughter, Sybil and Jim Sharp of Petersburg; sisters, Joy and Bill Bell of Vero Beach, Fla., Linda Kalstrom of Knoxville, Wilma Oglesee of Miami, Fla., Shirley Kirby of Knoxville; grandchildren, Justin and Emily Sharp, Kristen Cheyenne Sharp, Thomas Christopher Sharp; great-grandchild, Gabriel Christopher Sharp; nieces, Dolly Bell of Rodanthe, N.C., Karen and Wendy Kallstrom, Sharon and Nancy Mainus; and nephew, Allen Bean. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Moore cemetery. James Harold Boaz, 82, a resident of Fayetteville, died Thursday night (Dec. 14, 2010) at Donalson Care Center. He was a native of Lincoln County, son of the late Jim and Egera Williams Boaz, retired owner and manager of Boaz Welding. He was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Boaz; three brothers, Morton Boaz, Fred Boaz and Wallace Boaz. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Dale Boaz of Fayetteville; three daughters, Jamie Boaz Slayton and husband, Matt, Mickie Maddox Bingham and husband, Tom, and Vickie Whitt Pemberton, all of Fayetteville; two sons, Dennis and Darryl Whitt, both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kristie McElyea and husband, Jay, Shay Ulrich and husband, Matt, Brianne Bigham, Erin Sutton and husband, Shawn, Shane Troy and wife, Misty, McLean Whitt, Millie Slayton, McKinley Slayton, Eli Slayton; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Mr. Boaz were conducted Sunday afternoon at Lebanon cemetery with the Rev. Dana Crowell and the Rev. Charles Edgar officiating. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Louise G. Campbell, 88, a resident of Fayetteville, died Saturday evening (Dec. 18, 2010) at Donalson Care Center. She was a daughter of the late Rev. A.W. and Mary Talitha Floyd Gregg, she was a native of Lawrence County, Ala., a piano teacher and a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Edward A. Campbell and wife, Vera, of the Hot Rock Community; daughters, Sybil Baker and husband, Frank, and Sue Williams, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Douglas Campbell, Lee Evan Campbell, Stephen Williams, Shelley Stegner, Tracey Stevenson and Jason Baker; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Campbell will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Rice cemetery in New Market, Ala., with the Rev. Thomas Smith and the Rev. Ann Hatcher officiating. She will be buried beside her husband, Gordon L. Campbell, who passed away in 1970. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ethel Mae Smith Cowan, 72, a resident of Fayetteville, died Saturday (Dec. 18, 2010) at Lincoln Medical Center. She was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Garland and Beatrice Smith, the owner of Marvin�s Restaurant for many years and a member of the Hope Assembly of God. Survivors include her daughter, June Owen of Frankewing; son, Dale Cowan of Taft; grandchildren, Todd Owen of Flintville, Brad Cowan of Portland, Chase, Katie, Lindsey, Summer, Chelsea and Marvin Dale Cowan, all of Fayetteville; and great-grandchildren, Avery Owen, Seth, Cole, Aiden and Kyler Cowan, Shawn Jaxton, Braden and Kevin Cowan; and brothers, Hubert and Bud Smith of Fayetteville and L.C. Smith of Tullahoma. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Boggs officiating. Burial followed in Carter Hills cemetery beside her late husband, Marvin Cowan. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Devin Cole Crabtree, infant son of Joel Lee Crabtree and Heidi M. Kristek of Fayetteville, died Sunday (Dec. 19, 2010). Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two sisters, Skylen Paige Swanson and Harley Nicole Crabtree; maternal grandmother, Diane Mervyn of Fayetteville; paternal grandfather, Tony Crabtree of Fayetteville, paternal grandmother, Rhonda Weil of Fayetteville; maternal great-grandparents, William and Olia Lantz; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Blanche cemetery with Pastor Bobby Bates officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to services. Margie Davis, 78, a resident of Petersburg, died Saturday (Dec. 18, 2010) in Donalson Care Center. Miss Davis was a native of Bedford County, the daughter of the late Ottie and Hattie Williams Davis. She was a secretary for a school and office supply business in Nashville. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Ray, Ozell Reeves, Annie Reed, and brother, Fred Davis. Survivors include a sister, Ruby Rogers of McBurg; nephews, Doug Rogers of Hazel Green, Ala., Dwight Rogers of McBurg, Ricky Reed of Lewisburg and Leslie Reeves of Shelbyville. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Petersburg Church of Christ with David Fanning officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Orchard cemetery. James Walter Howard, 84, a resident of Fayetteville, died Friday morning (Dec. 17, 2010) at his home. He was the son of the late Oval H. and Connie Dee Price Howard. Mr. Howard was employed by Kraft Foods for 43 years, Tennessee Department of Human Services for 15 years and was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Tripp Howard of Fayetteville; two daughters, Kathy Lynette Howard and Tammy Howard Clark and husband, Harry Clark, Jr., all of Fayetteville; son, Walter Todd Howard of Fayetteville; and sister, Lela Mae Andrews of Fayetteville; and grandson, Sawyer McClain Clark of Murfreesboro. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black and Steve Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens. George Johnson, 65, a resident of Hazel Green, Ala., died Friday (Dec. 10, 2010). Funeral services were conducted Monday at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial followed in Charity cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Youell Morgan McDow, 90, a resident of Harvest, Ala. died Monday (Dec. 13, 2010). She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husbands, James Cecil Morgan Sr. and James T. McDow. Survivors include a daughter, Youell M. Singleton; son, Cecil Morgan, Jr. and Helen W. Morgan; sister, Mary Thornton; four grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; seven stepchildren; and a number of step-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Berryhill Funeral Home with the Rev. Terrell Boyd officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakewood Baptist Church. John McLeroy, 85, a resident of Hazel Green, Ala., died Saturday (Dec. 11, 2010) at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at the Hazel Green Funeral Home chapel with a graveside service in Anniston, Ala., at the Anniston Memorial Gardens.

Stan Moore, 61, of Fayetteville, died Friday (Dec. 17, 2010) at his residence.
He was a native of Madison County, Ala., the son of the late Harvey and Lois Turner Moore and a car salesman.
Survivors include his son, Shane Moore of Lubbock, Texas; granddaughter, Halley Moore; sisters, Montez Moore of Huntland; niece, Vicky and Jim Strickland of New Market, Ala.; nephews, Jeff Harlston of Panama City, Fla. and Darrell Brady of Huntland.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Britton cemetery with Bro. Eddie Lones officiating.

Michael Anthony Owens, 52, of Flintville, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 2010) at his residence. Mr. Owens was a native of Huntland, the son of the late Robert A. Owens and Opal Inez Scott Owens. He was a cabinet and furniture maker. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Emma Jean Ward, and brother, David Owens. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Arnold Owens of Flintville; sons, Tim & Debbie Owens, Travis Owens, both of Flintville; grandchildren, Audrey & Anna Owens; mother, Opal Inez Scott Owens of Fayetteville; sister, Sharon & Doug Kimbrell of Estill Springs; brothers, Larry & Frances Owens of Monticello, Fla., Ricky & Virginia Owens of Flintville, Joe & Patricia Owens of Huntland; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
