Edith Erwin
Completed arrangements are being announced for Edith (Dunbar) Erwin, 93, of Troy, who died Dec. 22, 2006, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Graveside services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at Troy City cemetery. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Bobby Bryan
Bobby Gene Bryan, 73, of Cayce, Ky., a former resident of Clinton, Ky., died 5:30 a.m. Dec. 22, 2006, at Union City Manor Nursing Home. Services were 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton, with Dr. David Russell officiating. Burial followed in Clinton cemetery.

Faye Clark
Faye Clark, 80, of Obion died 7:05 a.m. Dec. 26, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dilday Funeral Home in Union City.

Jerry Weaver
Completed arrangements are being announced for Jerry Ralph Weaver, 68, of Troy, who died 2:12 a.m. Nov. 20, 2006, at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dilday Funeral Home in Union City, with the Revs. J.T. Brown and Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill cemetery in Troy.

Harmon James
Completed arrangements are being announced for Harmon Ross James, 61, of Rives, who died Nov. 19, 2006, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Laurette Hedge
Completed arrangements are being announced for Laurette Hedge, 85, of the Pilot Oak (Ky.) community, who died 4:45 a.m. Nov. 20, 2006, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, with the Rev. H.B. Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Dukedom's Oak Grove cemetery.

Bonnie Alexander
Bonnie Virginia Alexander, 86, of Westland, Mich., a former resident of Obion County, died Nov. 18, 2006, at Westland Convalescent Home. She was the sister of Charles Smith of Union City.

Olga Hoglund
Olga Maria Hoglund, 104, of Borlange, Sweden, mother of Eva McReynolds of Union City and grandmother of Eric McReynolds of Troy, died Nov. 17, 2006, in Borlange. Burial will be in Borlange.

Martha McNeill
Martha McNeill, 59, of South Fulton died 12:55 p.m. Nov. 20, 2006, at her home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with Dwayne Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton's Fairview cemetery.

Thelma Norton
Thelma T. Norton, 100, of Ledgewood Nursing Home in Beverly, Mass., a former resident of Troy, died Aug. 13, 2006, in Beverly. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy.

Tracie Cochran
Tracie Lee Cochran, 37, of Hollywood, Calif., a former resident of Samburg, died April 27, 2006, after suffering from cancer. Arrangements are incomplete.

Brownie Lee Madewell
Brownie Lee Madewell, 88, of Cookeville, passed away May 27, 2002, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center Hospital.
Madewell was born June 17, 1913, in White County, to George Madewell and Mattie Nash Morgan.
She was a charter member of Wilhite Baptist Church and a seamstress for Wilson Sporting Goods.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Madewell; her parents; one son, Kenneth Ray Madewell; one brother, Sam Morgan; and one sister, Gladys Walker.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-laws, Marie Dennis of Laport, Texas, Lois and Don Tarpley of Sparta, Barbara and Terry Ray of Arcanum, Ohio; one sister, Jewel Henry of Sparta; five grandchildren, Jerry Lee Dennis, Patsy Carol Pierce, Betty Jean Crews, David Ray Tarpley and Lisa Thacker; nine great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; one special niece, Brenda Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Services were held at 11 a.m., May 29, 2002, at Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with burial in Cookeville City cemetery. Bro. Terry Geren and Tim Adams officiated.
Dyer Funeral Home in Cookeville was in charge of arrangements.

Mary Donavee Harris Puckett
Mary Donavee Harris Puckett, 67, of Sparta, passed away June 3, 2002, at White County Community Hospital.
Puckett was born April 4, 1935, in Michigan, to Harvey Edgar and Katherine Elrod Harris.
She was a factory worker.
Puckett was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Darnell Harris.
Survivors include her husband, Morris Lee Puckett of Sparta; two daughters and one son-in-law, Nena and Dan Daily of Kansas City, Kan. and Tina Puckett of Sparta; three grandchildren, Aaron Puckett, Kaitlin Daily and Samuel Daily; and three sisters, Alvaree Holland, Hazel Felts and Louise Henderson all of Sparta.
Arrangements: Services were held at 2 p.m., June 5, 2002, at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Plainview cemetery in Cassville. Jimmy Lindsey and Billy Parkerson officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright, 76, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 15, 2002.
Wright was born July 15, 1926, in Franklin, Ohio, to Lloyd Wright and Elizabeth Wilmoth Wright.
He was retired from the Merchant Marines and U.S. Air Force, where he as an aviation mechanic. Wright was a member of Sparta Masonic Lodge #99 F&AM; and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Louise Ballard Wright of Sparta; one daughter, Elaine Clemmons of Florida; two sons, Bruce Wright of Missouri and Craig Wright of Florida; one step son, James "Bill" True of Indiana; one step daughter, Patricia Baxter of Maryland; two granddaughters, Courtney Wright and Kimberly Wright; and two step grandchildren, Mark True and Lonnie True.
Arrangements: Services will be held at 7 p.m., Dec. 19, 2002, at the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home with Masonic rites.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ella Thurman Morgan
Ella Thurman Morgan, 75, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 14, 2002, at Life Care Center of Sparta.
Morgan was born Feb. 15, 1927, in White County, to Waymon and Princy Lee Turner Thurman.
She had been the co-owner of Morgan Furniture.
Morgan was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mollye Thurman Swindell; and one brother, Joe Thurman.
Survivors include her husband, William T. "Bill" Morgan of Sparta; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim Morgan White and Phillip White of Brentwood; two sisters, Pauline Conklin and Ruth Austin both of Nashville; and two grandchildren, Morgan White and Sydney White.
Arrangements: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Dec. 16, 2002, at First Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn cemetery in Nashville. Jeff Jones and Capt. Lynn Markham will officiate.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Harold Davis
Harold Davis, 84, of Sparta, passed away May 29, 2002 at White County community Hospital.
Harold was born July 8, 2002 in White County to Andy and Ethel Hollandsworth Davis.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a retired factory worker.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Anna Ruth Batman; one brother, Carl B. Davis.
Survivors include: his wife, Marie Allison Davis of Sparta; one daughter, Judy Cassetty and husband, David of Gainesboro, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Melissa Vance of Carthage, Tenn., John Cassetty of Nashville, Tenn., Susan Putnam of Fairview, Tenn. and five great-grand sons.
Arrangements: Services were held Friday, May 31, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Bro. Fate Wilson officiated. Burial was at Pleasant Hill cemetery in Hickory Valley Community.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sam Thomas Scott
Sam Thomas Scott, 77, of Sparta, passed away March 30, 2002, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
Scott was born June 11, 1924, to Samuel Mac Scott and Callie Mae Farley.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked in the tool and die business.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Hoover Scott and Monk Scott.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Eugene Scott, Joe Donald Scott and Gary Philip Scott all of Michigan; four sisters, Ima (Tip) Pistole, Ruby Ullfers, Jo Nash and Geneva Shockley all of Sparta; and two grandchildren, Sean Michael Scott and Rachel Scott.
Arrangements: Services will be held at 11 a.m., April 2, 2002, at the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home with burial in Scott cemetery. Bro. Doyle Crawford will officiate.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
