He was a member of the College Hills Church of Christ and a member of The Golfing Group. He was a devoted and loving husband, whose eyes lighted for his wife, Eloise and a wonderful father, grandfather and friend.
Among his greatest lessons to his children, grandchildren and friends were his courage and acceptance of death as part of the full circle of life and his readiness to go home to Jesus.
Even as his pain increased, he continued to give his caregivers smiles of welcome and appreciation. In response to a question about resentment, Ralph stated if you keep one eye on the past and the other on the future, you will be cross eyed today.
