Ronald Henry "Ronnie" Thompson, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2003.
Cherishing his memory are three sisters, Donna Jo Gilboy, Terry Williams and Jackie Thompson Shinkle; one brother, Jim Thompson; two brothers-in-law Eddie Gilboy and Leo Shinkle; three children, David, Jonathan and Tyler; four grandchildren: many nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
His family and friends gathered at Middle Tennessee State Veterans cemetery for graveside and interment
at 1 o'clock in the afternoon Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003.

Obera "B" Fambrough
Obera "B" Fambrough, 93, passed away on Aug. 25, 2003, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003, at 10 a.m. graveside at Smith-Neptune cemetery in Ashland City with Brother Barry Kirby officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sid Fambrough.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Bessie and Bobby Bracey of Clarksville, Eugene and Delma Fambrough of Ashland City and Millard Shearon of Ashland City.

Eunice Kathleen Mayberry
Mrs. Eunice Kathleen Mayberry, 78, passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2003. She was a retired insurance clerk for Home Medical Care, Inc. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McEwen. She was born in McEwen on Oct. 1, 1924 and lived there all her life.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mayberry were held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the Luff Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, Tenn. Interment
followed at the Mayberry Family cemetery in McEwen.
Mrs. Mayberry was preceded in death by her husband, George Alfred "Dobbins" Mayberry; father, Ben Ona Profitt; and mother, Annie Irene Hatcher. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy, Larry and Danny Mayberry, all of McEwen; daughters, Carole Hubbs, Kathy Oliphant, and Jean Campbell, all of McEwen, and Joan Sensing of Ashland City; brothers, Mahlon Profitt of Parsons, Tenn., Don Profitt and Dwight "Nob" Profitt of McEwen; 23 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.

Patricia 'Pat' Robertson
Patricia 'Pat' Robertson, 55, of Ashland City, passed away at her home Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, with Bro. James Humphreys, III officiating. Pallbearers include Larry Fulcher, Kenneth Brown, Chuck Nichols, Charles Nichols, Rob Nichols, David Nichols, Eric Nichols and Anthony McCray. Burial will follow in Lights Chapel Baptist Church cemetery in Greenbrier. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday morning until time for service.
Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Mae Thomas; father, Charlie Joseph Hardaway; step-father, Luther Thomas; and sister, Betty B. Nichols. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James "Bo" Robertson; children, James "Jr." Robertson and Sheila Hudson of Ashland City; Marty E. and Candice Robertson of McEwin, Tenn., Lisa M. and Eugene Ray of Ashland City, Elizabeth "Beth" Binkley and Tony England of Springfield; brothers, Vernon Hardaway of Nashville, James "Jimmy" Hardaway of Nashville, Donald "Pee Wee" Hardaway of North Carolina; sister, Glenda S. Spivey of Franklin, Ky.; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces; and great-nephews.

Violet Yoshoda Carney, 70, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at her home in Pleasant View.
She is survived by her husband, James B. Carney Jr. of Pleasant View; three daughters, Salome Lobo of Goa, India, Roxanne LaPort of Michola Silveria, both of United Arab Emirates.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Salomita Mabem.
A memorial service was held at the Bordeaux Seven Day Adventist Church on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 3 p.m.

Bonnie Rea Binkley of Pleasant View passed away Monday, May 19, 2003,
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Binkley.
She is survived by a son, Clifford Keene of Tampa, Fla., daughters, Patricia Crawford of Pleasant View, Virginia Bosley of Hendersonville, Vickie Rogers of Madison, five grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Felts cemetery, Ashland City, with Bro. George Clark officiating. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

She is survived by a son, Billy (Imogene) Jarrell of Ashland City, a brother Wallace (Mildred) Donley of Ashland City, grandchildren: Steve (Lorrie) Jarrell of Ashland City, Peggy (Mark) Chambliss of Joelton, five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 31, 2003, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Webb and Bro. Ralph Gilliam officiating. Burial followed in Bearwallow Church cemetery, Ashland City. Nephews and grandsons served as pallbearers.

Jacky R. Harris, 66, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2003, at his home. Harris was a tobacco Buyer for the U.S. Tobacco Company and a farmer.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, April 9, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home, Ashland City. Pastor Ben Jordan officiated the funeral service. Burial was at the Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View. Pallbearers were Pete Smith, Wayne Simpson, Sammy Adkins, Jesse Wayne Boyte, Freddy Pritchett, Bub Edwards, Charlie Walker and Gerald Eldridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, the Alive Hospice or the Brewer's Chapel Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia A. Harris of Ashland City; his daughters, Cheryl (Bubba) Staggs and Renee (Gregg) Molton, both of Pleasant View; his sister, Eugenia Batts and Nelda Boyte, both of Ashland City, Becky (Gene) Hartman of Knoxville and June Adkins of Franklin; his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

James William Miles, 63, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2003.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Elder Ronald Lawrence officiating. Burial was at Stewart cemetery in Ashland City. Friends served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be sent to Alive Hospice.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Parnell Miles; mother, Essie Harris Miles of Ashland City; sons, Steven Wayne (Tammy) Miles of Murfreesboro and Jay Lindsey (Kelly) Miles of Goodlettsville; daughter, Pamela (Edward) Sparks of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren.
